Can we also get rid of objectification of anyone in any media? And all advertising? Actually, let's just skip to getting rid of sin. That'd be cool.

PC only. All i play is TF2 anymore. And I don't personally think of the vibe as restricted to straight men, but idk. There's just something more to friends who share similar experiences. My friend group plays d&d together once a week. We're all white at the moment, and I dearly miss our former members who moved cross country that weren't , we run the gamut on the major spectrums otherwise.

I haven't seen a lot of unusual success between American men and Filipino women around my workplace. There are dozens of couples. The men are much more liberal than Filipino women could find among their own culture, and the women are much more conservative than American men could find among their own culture. It seems like they're both happy about it.

It's a small pet peeve of mine. My wife has gotten better about it but still moves around people in such a way as to block the normal flow of movement. Cone to think of it, the pandemic did knock out that very minor issue. And as far as I'm concerned, she can put herself in my way any time :)

They're banhappy for anything conceivably out of line with their strict thinking, which they don't tell you. Additionally, there's a vested interest in not understanding it biologically, because then, it can be eugenic'd away.

Same old bs. An almost exact copy of this sort of argument is in Plato's "The Death of Socrates". It's laid out and criticized all in the text. Same. Old. Bs.

The factors that are valued change. Image can mean a lot less. Clean? Gainfully employed? Personality isn't a dumpster fire? Congrats, you're at least acceptable to most women, probably. Or maybe even a lot of women that are done taking risks. Because I have a background in the church, if faith is important, the market opens wide. Single men of faith are very rare today.

My wife was a virgin until me. But I think it was a combination of a lack of social skills, her mother s*** shaming her for attempting to appear in any way clean since she was a child, and happenstance.

Ha! Funnily enough, when I decided to date someone with faith like mine, she was literally the only person I could think of. I scrolled my FB friends and it was just her. No one else at all. I call it serendipity, a divine conspiracy. I guess what I mean is don't consider the chances, just live your life and go for it. I know that's vague and unhelpful, but it's sort of what my story is. Conversely, every guy I know can tell stories of women mistreating them as a result of being treated like a creep. A fair portion of my work persona was developed explicitly to avoid tripping these silent alarms women have. I'm skeptical of those metrics, although I can't really say why. I think that men are, perhaps finding a better way. Women are rising in representation at higher education and higher income jobs. That's great. I don't think it's coming at the expense of men much. It just seems like the cost of higher education versus expected income has caused men to, hopefully, find a better way. Once again, I can't really back it up, I just think things might be this way.

Get a DNA test. You sure you're the dad? Ask to see the estimated age of the baby in utero and due date. Do the dates match up with your encounter? If it is yours, you need to talk to several professionals about what you want to do. Like counselors. On a multitude of counsel, there's wisdom.

You have it backwards. Reducing poverty reduces birth rates. Reducing birth rates does not have a relationship to reducing poverty (last I knew).
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/21 05:57 PM

I disagree that the reality of poorer and less educated individuals having more children is a concern. That way of thinking sounds like the start of eugenics to me. Education and healthcare have been documented solutions to poverty for a generation, but when the focus is on lessening births among the poor rather than lifting the poor out of poverty, which has the by product of lowering birth rates, it's akin to treating a symptom instead of the root cause of that symptom.

Dude. Chill TF out. It sounds like you two need to work on communicating. There could be more to this than the naming issue. I hate to sound cliche, but go see a counselor together for relationship issues. You don't want it to be over, right? This is the mother of your child. Do whatever you can to resolve this and be at peace with her without sacrificing your own well-being/rights. Don't make decisions out of fear. Do make decisions out of hope and love. It isn't brilliant. What's right and wrong is a matter of opinion to most people now. Popular opinion. The loudest and most frequently expressed opinion will be what's considered right. There can be no common agreeance between people with different ideas of right and wrong. One will always be the evil one. Thankfully, this will eventually destroy itself.
/r/MensRights08/08/21 08:14 PM

Society has worked it's ass off to make men the way they are. Furthermore, Rousseau was a b**ch who lamented about the chains of social expectations when, as I see it, he resented that he had a pleb background and a baby mama of his 4+ kids (can't remember them all) that he refused to support. No love is unconditional except Jesus Christ. Everyone and everything is loved for checking a box. And that's okay. It's almost always checking multiple boxes. You love your partner and children because of your values, because of your past experiences with them, because nature and biology and social conditioning conspire to make it happen. The same is true for those who love you. Now, we're all here because we know that social conditioning plays an outsized role in diminishing the love men would…

My experience has been it's a labor. I'm about to have my ten year wedding anniversary. It hasn't been and isn't always easy, but we've grown up together. I sometimes imagine how my life would be different if I'd never gone down this path or marriage and kids, but I'm mostly satisfied and mostly happy. The happiness is a journey, not a destination.
