Sorry, I worded that quite poorly, but that is effectively what I had in mind. By knock her down a peg I more mean to convey to her that she is not above you, and you most certainly are not going to put her on a pedestal, like every other guy is desperate to do. That last line you say clears everything else up in my mind. Thanks.

...girls flirt by getting really close to you, even leaning against you 'by accident' and look how you react. This is true. Girls, probably in their subconscious, love to "accidentally" press their boobs against the arm of a guy they are into. Usually when trying to stand upright on a train/bus, when leaning over her desk to show you something on her phone, when leaning close to you to tell you about how the bitch who just walked by used to be her friend but then went psycho.

This is more in response to your edit. With girls like this, is the idea to almost knock them down a peg? You know the girl, she walks into a room, and every AFC is stealing glances at her and she just eats the attention up? Is the idea to basically relay to her, through your actions, that you intend for her to cut the crap? Could you possibly elaborate on this? Thanks man!

Totally agree. Like I said in my comment, this video is basically telling me to resort to old AFC strategies. I was good at talking to women but shitty at approaching them. So what's the difference between the old me, and the person who would take this advice? Both "game's" entirely rely on the good fortune of some woman being in the perfect mood to come up to me.

I agree with the dudes disagreeing with this guy. I mean, I kind of understand what he is going for, but in the end, I'd say you would just come off as an AFC: Not approaching, not talking, not smiling, no eye contact. Then a HB6 friend of her arrived and glued on us and kept talking to the HB7. I was getting left to the side and I couldn't get to talk in so I said fuck it an just dropped the only routine opener that I remembered the 'best friends'.
