Just general incompetence. There are plenty of viral videos of them mishandling situations. Sometimes this only detriments themselves/other police, other times it’s them shooting unarmed civilians posing no threat. In my experience, most also have a chip on their shoulder and get carried away. Yelling, threats, escalating/pursuing trivial matters that in now way help society, but completely fuck over the individual. I actually just watched a video in which one arrested a guy for “loitering” beca…

Would you rather get pulled over by a female cop, or encounter a bear in the woods?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/25 01:44 AM

I think they'd be surprised that most Chads don't even live the life they're imagining. Unless they're top 1% in looks and also have money/status/fame, girls aren't exactly throwing themselves at them. A top 20% guy is still kind of picked apart for minor flaws and might have only a few girls lusting over him. A top 20% woman can have a dozen or more guys wrapped around her finger.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 02:07 PM

Maybe. Two of her ex's left her for blondes that I guess are more conventionally attractive. Although I wouldn't call her average--I actually find her way more attractive than both, but that probably has more to do with my weird standards/type. I could also believe the psycho thing. Her friendliness and bubbly-ness is so extreme that it could def be fake. It also doesn't help that she has some "pick me" and "not like other girls" vibes.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/24 04:30 PM

I was previously just assuming she sucks in bed or something lol. But that could very well be possible. She did delete all her social media right after that, and stayed dark for over a year.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/24 04:19 PM

It's actually been about 4-5 years since she started working here, and she's always been like this. She had a very serious boyfriend through college. Not sure why they broke up, but he quickly got with another gal and engaged. Dated this other guy for awhile but almost the same thing happened. I guess I kind of have a crush on her, but I don't really think about it much due to the "shit where I eat" thing. Obviously I've taken an interest in thinking about all this though lol. I assume my feelin…

Gal at work is always making self-deprecating jokes about being single. She does date, but nothing seems to last despite the fact she seems pretty traditional about wanting to get married, have kids, etc. She's objectively attractive, kind of in an unconventional sense, but I think most guys would still give her at least a 7/10. College educated, great corporate job, very friendly and outgoing. I wonder what the catch is? I have a pretty firm rule about not dating coworkers, but I'm tempted to a…

Maybe I'm just from a conservative/traditional area, but it's still very much expected bride's parents pay. If they're unable to, others chip in... including the groom's parents. As backwards as it is, the reality is that weddings are just as much about the guests as the bride and groom, so parents are willing to help for their own experience. It's not uncommon for the bride and groom to kind of just "go through the motions" of the day. I get what you're saying though. Personally, if it's up to …
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/24 03:01 PM

True, but also with traditions, the people sending out the invites (bride and groom) often aren't the ones paying for it. Usually bride's parents, no? People tend to be less frugal when they're using someone else's money. Personally, I want a very small wedding (for reasons beyond cost), but if I were want a big one and make it a party--I would HAVE to invite coworkers and casual acquaintances lol. I only have a handful of friends and only a dozen or so family members. And to be honest, I see an…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/24 02:21 PM

Eh, some people treat it as a party and "more the merrier" type thing, so I've never been surprised to get an invite from coworkers or casual acquaintances. I have been shocked being asked to be a groomsman a couple times. One was an old military buddy. We were close while serving, but eventually stationed elsewhere before getting out and living hundreds of miles away. Loosely kept in touch, but hadn't seen each other in years. The other was my college roommate. We still live close, but his now-…

What exactly is the argument here? OP is arguing that people should own a business so they don’t have to work a 9 to 5. You still do and have to devote additional time to managing the rentals. Not to mention you either have to have a huge sum of money to buy a rental, or incur a huge amount of debt which incurs a lot of risk and interest expenses. You could go “low and slow” by investing smaller amounts periodically into a diversified fund like VOO/VTI and average annual 10% gains. Really no man…

Yep, most businesses fail. Many people go into it for all the wrong reasons too. I mean hell, OP is saying the primary motivation is so you can have more personal time (LOL). There’s a post on some of my hobby group subreddits nearly everyday about starting a business related to it looking for ideas simply because they enjoy the hobby. Lots of housewives do it too because they’re bored and gives them IG clout. Not saying these results can’t be possible… but they’re not focusing on the most impor…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 11:39 AM

I never realized this was a thing for the longest time. In the military, we always said "female type" when referring to a specific woman, as we went by last names and obviously the vast majority are males. It was just an easy way to identify people. Not really a condescending thing though, so not sure why people get offended by it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 06:07 PM

Guy approached me at the grocery store today, seemingly just wanting to talk. He asked about my shoes and carried on a conversation. He was a little awkward, even outside the fact that he was approaching strangers in a grocery store. However, he was friendly, so I entertained it despite being mildly annoyed. I later saw him doing the same thing with other people in the store. He was definitely younger than me—probably late teens or early 20’s, which makes me wonder if this is a generation thing?…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 05:54 PM

All because a girl claimed that? What if it was an infidelity situation? Ie. She only came forward when her BF found out? And what if she actually did admit to lying about it later? Or some other exonerating evidence came out? How would you feel?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 01:44 AM

And that’s why those stats are so flawed. If you think prosecuting for SA is rare, proving and prosecuting for falsifying a report are 100x more difficult. Most just go unfounded, so it’s actually not 95%-98% chance he did do it. Hell, even if there’s evidence she’s lying, it’s rarely pursued. Basically takes a flat out confession from her.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 01:32 AM

Women lie about SA all the time. Especially to cover up infidelity. Even the [extremely flawed] statistic that says 2%-5% of claims are false still isn’t “slim to none.”
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 01:22 AM

I think it’s morally wrong to bother people in their own home. Especially stepping on their property uninvited to have to do it, for something they probably don’t need and didn’t seek out themselves. As I said, most people inherently avoid conflict and might be adverse to saying no in an adequate way… not to mention sales tactics can be very pushy and make it harder. There’s a reason I hung up the sign—many wouldn’t take no for an answer and I even had them threaten me before.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/24 03:01 PM

Decent take, but I wouldn’t suggest door-to-door sales. You’re encroaching people in the peace their home and trying to entice them into something they didn’t seek out in the first place. Sure, there’s some skill set to be gained there, but the tactics can quickly become predatory. Morally speaking, I could never do it. Not to mention it’s often illegal. Many jurisdictions require a permit to solicit, yet many companies don’t bother because police have more important things to enforce. I also ha…

I've found that most women put in basically no effort. I have theories on why. I mean, a lot of it is simply they don't have to and there is no pressure, like you said. And some of it is just ignorance of their own sexuality/enjoyment due to being ingrained with modesty from a very early age. Some try to break free of that and "explore"... but those stories never end up being about any meaningful self-discovery. It's almost always something like just sleeping with more guys and/or breaking her p…

We must bring back the warrior training of Sparta to stimulate masculinity in the world, that is how we move forward my soyboys.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 01:08 PM

Fighting doesn’t really have a place in modern society and hasn’t in hundreds, if not thousands of years. Sure, there can be value in the subtle physical intimidation, but if you go far too far on the spectrum of that, you’re just an unhinged meathead loser. I mean, who do you think has higher SMV—a successful lawyer or a semi-pro MMA fighter? Sure, the lawyer might back down a fight at the bar, but he’s a lot higher value in the sexual marketplace.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/24 05:50 PM

Too short reminds me of the mini skirt fad in the early 2000’s. Too far past the knees looks even more old fashioned though. Right above the knees is ideal. The sundress look has been real popular in Chicago this summer, and it drives me wild walking home from work downtown and seeing all the young professional women wearing them.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 04:49 PM

Yeah in hindsight I actually feel stupid for not ending things right there.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/24 01:01 AM

Eh, RP isn’t really adamant on those. Plenty of “money doesn’t matter” posts on the sub. Political opinion is also entirely irrelevant, though I think you might be conflating that with more traditional gender dynamics? Either way, that’s also not heavily preached. RP preaches mostly how to interact with females (shit tests, negging, etc). Money, being in shape, clothes, and politics might help, but there’s no hard line or standard. Sure, they probably wouldn’t marry or even date you exclusively,…

These were fine cuts, like $40+ a pop. Typically these types are meant to be enjoyed for their inherent quality—overcooking them and using sauce ruins the natural flavor. You don’t have to have an exquisite pallet to enjoy them. I sure as hell don’t. Hell, for cheap cuts from the local grocery store, I’ll cook them a bit longer and throw some A1 on. You ought to try one sometime. You can ease into it, like go to a steakhouse (doesn’t have to be too fancy), order a decent cut (NY strip, filet mig…

/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/24 11:26 PM

Normally I laugh off superficial and trivial “standards”, but I’m starting to believe there’s validity to them. For example, I grilled up steaks on one of the early dates with my now-ex. Some expensive ribeyes from a local butcher, yet she wanted hers well-done and dipped it in mustard. Honestly, I could probably forgive medium-well and some A1… but well-done and mustard? That’s like toddler food. I should’ve asked if she wanted me to feed it to her while making airplane noises. She ended up bei…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/24 11:21 PM

Agreed. I’m assuming she’s trying to reach out to me, and this is her only avenue because I have her number blocked and no social media. They did really like her and always welcomed her, so that’s probably why she thinks it would be ok. Even to this day (several years after the breakup) they occasionally ask about her and what happened with us. She was/is very mature and accomplished on the surface… but dating wise she was a mess. I got over it quick and haven’t looked back.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/24 12:53 PM

Ex girlfriend has been reaching out to my family the past few days. Fortunately they ignored her, but I am slightly curious what she wants. She dumped me years ago and there was some unnecessary drama with it. Entirely my fault, but I was embarrassed/frustrated and burned the bridge, blocked her, etc. I did look her up on social media this morning. She looks really good and seems to be doing well. I don’t think I could ever have romantic feelings for her again though, and definitely can’t trust …

I’ve been told I’m a nice guy (in the genuine sense, not the cringey stereotype). Personally, I’d say I’m more average, and perhaps my laidback personality steers judgement farther away from the other end of the spectrum. I have noticed that [some] women who were initially attracted to me will lose interest or put a guard up, but those types of women tend to be superficial and not my type anyways. Additionally, I had a falling out once with a woman who shared some Tumblr meme with me about the r…

Almost the same exact thing happened to me. Ex ghosted me out of nowhere shortly after breakup. I find out she began dating another guy and was claiming to be “in love” with him all over social media after only seeing him a few days. Waaaay too many lines and you were trying too hard. Act more careless next time. Honestly, you should be careless about it. If she doesn’t agree, have the mentality “Ok guess I’ll call over another plate and fuck her.” Even if there isn’t another plate, fake it until you make it. Something similar happened to me recently, except I was able to get her over. When we were arranging the date, she made it clear no hook-ups and she wouldn’t come to my place yet. I laughed it off and said things like “…

Yes it can work, but it’s not sustainable. It just opens up the door for onenitus. Even if you are making it your mission to just fuck as many as possible, you’re bound to find a “unicorn” (or that’s at least what you’ll think). You’ll probably LTR her (or not), you’ll get complacent, and she’ll branch swing—AWALT. Think of it this way, if your goal is to get women, and then you get them... what else is there to do? Idk if any 10s exist outside of subjectivity, but I’d say she’s was at least top 5%. She finished high in our statewide beauty pageant and went on to be an NFL cheerleader. How did I pull that off? Yes my SMV was sky high at the time. I met her through mutual friends I went to high school with. They were back home for summer from college. I was on leave from the military. So the rest is just good timing and luck. As for the specifics, I was home for like a month because I acquired so much leave.…

I got plenty involving begging for LTR to continue, but nothing exciting. So this is my best one: Matched some girl on Tinder in college who went to another school ~45 min away. I knew the distance didn’t make it practical or worthwhile, so just hit on her while I was drunk or bored. Eventually got her number and we got closer. I had some outside drama go on that I discussed with her and actually maintained frame for. I think it turned her on, because she begged me to come visit her. A week late…

Get out of the house. If you can’t move anytime soon, just spend less time there. Do things that are productive, like working out or studying or gaming women. Not only is this beneficial for yourself, it will also keep your mind off of them. When you do see them, ignore them. If they press you or insult you, condescendingly ask them “Why do say stupid shit like that?” Most of the time, people will get flustered and eventually say something like “Chill out it was just a joke.” And that’s usually …

I went a little later than most, as I served in the military out of high school. The age gap and me wanting to finish ASAP kind of forced me into a monk mode. I still banged chicks from Tinder and went to bars every now and then, but mostly focused on my studies and leadership position on campus. It was somewhat brutal, but worth it. Graduated in 3 years and landed a nice job.

I agree. Last girl I dated was probably the worst about this. 0 accountability, always playing victim, and never apologizing or owning up to her shit. It was mentality exhausting. Accountability is a very good thing. It obviously increases self-awareness and leads to improvement. My boss actually complimented me on in during my evaluation this year. That being said, don’t take it too far. Know when you fuck up, but also when you don’t and someone is just shifting blame on you.

Accountant here. I would definitely diversify this money. Here’s what I would do: -Max out a 401k and Roth IRA the next 5 years. I forgot the exact numbers, but it’s like $20k for 401k and $5k for Roth. Keep the future year’s contributions in a low yield savings account, and make the max contribution in full ASAP after 1/1 each year. -Pay off my mortgage. If you don’t have one, go buy a house. There are many intangible advantages to living alone And being financially independent, as others have pointed out. Not to mention, good luck getting laid in your parents basement. I personally think autism is becoming the new ADHD. I think both are real, but also pretty rare and over/misdiagnosed. I naturally have a round face, but it goes away when I lower my body fat. Unfortunately, it’s hard for me to maintain mass because of this, so I’m not exactly fucking models. However, I’m still well above average and have been with a few 8s and 9s. 7s are my norm and I prefer them anyways to the dimes who are usually high-maintenance, superficial, and dumb as fuck.

Less emphasis on planning. And you can absolutely make a move at random, just don’t be autist or awkward about it. And I think you are/were waay past just kissing with this girl. Kiss is just a starting point to touching and fucking. If the kiss goes well, I think you should absolutely escalate to those that very night.

We were all virgins at one point man. Sure, you might be overthinking it, but we’re telling you (from experience) not to. We got over that hump, and aren’t going to feel sorry for you if you can’t or refuse to. Easier said than done I know, but go work out or do something else whenever you start thinking about it. Set your game plan and be done with it until the night of. Hell, if anything you should be excited and look forward to this. Either way, you’re going to get closure out of it. Either g…

You’re thinking about it too much. I meant to include that in my original comment. Even as I read your post, I read maybe the first half and skimmed the rest. No chick, even an LTD or wife, should warrant this much of your time and thoughts. I did see your questions towards the end “Why am I such a pussy?”... because you’re thinking about it too much. Even now. Like I originally said, what’s the worst that can happen? She thinks your a beta cuck and turns you down? That’s better than her thinkin…

Not serious considered, but I have thought about. I can relate to what you’re saying and was just thinking about it the other day. I wake up groggy and not in the mood to work out. I’ll get ready for work, drinking water and maybe some caffeine. Usually after being at work an hour or two, I suddenly feel completely “awake”, energized, and want to hit the gym. Make all these plans and goals for the gym after work. However, by the time I get off I’m usually mentality exhausted and just want to go …

Like the other commenter said, just fucking do it man. You really don’t have much to lose. Girls will get more turned off by not making move a lot more than having to reject a move they thought was too fast. The thing that stuck out to me, was the Netflix with her multiple times. When I was in college, that “Netflix n Chill” meme was at its height. So if a girl came over to watch Netflix, I pretty much took it as a sign they wanted to hook up, so I always made moves. Still do actually. Only one …

I wouldn’t say obsessed by any means. And it’s not taken into consideration due to jealousy or “being loose”. I just think it says a lot about a women’s personality if she’s been with a lot of different men. And also puts me a greater risk of STDs. And it’s not like we’re looking for nothing but virgins here. At least for me, less than 10 is acceptable.

Ha didn’t even try it. We went straight to bed and I left it with her. She told me later it was good. Sex was good with her though. Still prob in my top 5 ever. Not sure if it was worth the STD scare, but hey it worked out.

Pretty similar actually. Matched with a girl on Tinder while visiting friend’s college ~45 min away. We met up and had sex that night at her place. Agreed it was just a physical thing, but we talked somewhat regularly the next couple weeks. Random Thursday night, she says to come over and bring her cheesecake. I was horny/bored, said fuck it, picked up cheesecake, and drove out there. It was close to midnight by the time I got there and she was already in bed. We immediately kissed and touched h…

I may have gotten lucky, but nowadays it seems like that's the only way. However, there are ways to improve your luck. I'll tell you the two most important things I did: Have someone important look at your resume. I have an uncle who is the COO of Fortune 500 company. He added some things that scratched my head at first, only for hiring managers to directly reference and praise them in interviews. Get your resume out there. Look on every posting possible--Monster, Indeed, Craigslist, etc. Do thi…

Just went through a breakup and looking for a new fitness routine as I re-embrace TRP. My goals are mostly aesthetics, as well as just good health. For convenience and cost, I'd like to just use my work gym for now. Unfortunately, it doesn't include barbells but essentially everything else you can think of. This is probably a good thing, as my fitness level has plummeted and I feel like I'm just starting again. So it might be best to get back in the swing of things before jumping into big lifts …

I feel your pain, my hair started receding when I was 16. I feel like I've coped/dealt with it well using several methods along the way. I'm not sure how bad yours is, so can't really give you specific advice, but I'll give you some things I did. -Rocked a buzz cut for several years that hid it well. -By 22 the recession got too bad, and I also had gained some weight. Both motivated me to work out religiously and eat well. Didn't pay attention to the hair for the first few months but when I did,…

Everything in moderation. I work in health care and you wouldn't believe how many marathon running health nuts tend to have just as many problems as obese alcoholics. The healthiest people are the average ones who enjoy the occasional outlet. I could see the benefits of smoking if you have one every now and then to destress or wake up. However, 7-10/day is doing way more harm than good. Putting aside the inevitable short and long term physical effects, the mental addiction and constant compulsiv…

While someone who talks a lot can be very likable, I encounter even more chatterboxes that I just find annoying. It's a risky strategy because even the most likable outgoing person steps on someone's toes. The only advantage of it is that it can yield more immediate results, but ultimately I think the mystique presence is more powerful. Plus you can use it to mask/overcome flaws. As Mark Twain said, "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one’s mouth and remove all doub…

At first it was the latter. I go to a somewhat small school, so crossed paths with quite a few people when I was taking my gen eds. As I got into my major studies, I saw a lot of the same people in my classes. I think a very important thing I've done is keeping my social life somewhat separate and having the mindset that school/classmates are more of a professional life. Every now and then I'll get drinks or go out with them, but I think limiting it avoids drama and damaging my professional repu…

Can't speak for grad school, but I started undergrad at 22 after serving in the military. Busted ass and graduating next May after only three years. I had a similar strategy, speaking as little as possible. At first it was because I felt out of place and I spent my time busting ass at my work. It ended up working extremely well for me. No one thinks it's a big deal when the student sitting front row speaking just as much as the professor every class aces the test, but different story for the qui…
