"More often" has nothing to do with the subject. The point of this post is to show that men's issues are often overlooked... which you seem to agree with. You can point out an issue (men's) without attacking a different issue (women's)... if only the radicals on both side could see it.

The Ghostbusters remake provoked outrage among some fans of the original film because of the female-led cast. Yup, that is the only reason no one (including women) like this rehashed bullshit movie.

A number of scholars ... who discuss male privilege only do so because the discourse is less uncomfortable for them than one regarding class privilege (which they either consciously or unconsciously fear exactly typifies their own experience) wow. what an astute point. Of course the people at the top would rather not acknowledge that they are in fact the MOST privileged group in our society. I never thought about it like that, but now it seems pretty obvious.

I like to wear suits. I think I look good in them and I carry myself with more confidence. It's the same thing for women, they wear what they want because it makes them feel good about themselves. The difference is that when I do clean up and dress nice, I expect to get looks. Some are wanted, some are not. The ones that are I make a move on, the ones that aren't get ignored... It really is that simple.

They did... I repaid it all and am getting ready to restart school this spring. and before you shame someone, you may want to know the situation they were in and what caused them to do what they did. Edit: I was going to leave it at that but you know what? Fuck you. I knew when I dropped out that I would have to pay it all back eventually. I made the decision after careful deliberation. It was keep collecting it or be on the streets and I'm glad I made the choice I did.

I dropped out a couple years ago and kept collecting my GI Bill (it was my only income and I needed it). You best believe they are coming to get their money back. Good luck OP, I hope you pass and the point is moot. Edited for spelling.

I don’t know your race, but I've had more than one of my black friends tell me very similar stories about themselves. I am lucky that I’m a skinny little white dude and don’t appear threatening to anyone. I was quick to dismiss alleged profiling claims as paranoia... until I saw it firsthand. I'm sorry you had to experience that, no one deserves to be judged because what race/gender/age/etc they are, but just be thankful you don’t live everyday with this same thing happening over and over again.…

One of my exes had a Desperate Housewives PC game where one of the ways to 'level up' was to seduce various people that came to your house (i.e. mailman, pool boy, etc).... needless to say, she ended up cheating on me. I'm not "pro-life" and I am an atheist. I've always wanted to be a father and would do everything in my power to keep the child in the case of an unexpected pregnancy strictly because I wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to raise my offspring. Who knows if I'll ever get another chance to create a person, which is my reason for being against abortion in my personal life.
