Male Dating Isn't Getting Worse. It's Returning To It's Historic PastPeople always seem to forget the fact that "eggs are expensive and sperm is cheap". And we wonder were male disposability comes from. Nature don't give a damn about our ethics. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/10/20 03:49 PM
Weekly Community Chat Megathread (18 October 2020)Why do you expect us to speak for people who are long dead? I don't have a clue what was going on in their minds. The world was different then, let alone trying to consider thousands of different cultures. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/10/20 03:06 PM
Hey Incels. What’s your excuse? You address something I find very interesting, and it often does not get discussed here. I refer to it as the "interest gap". Speaking on bell curves, women and men typically like different things. It's pretty easy to identify male dominated and female dominated jobs/hobbies/activities. Many people bond over shared interests and experiences. As I have gained experience on the dating market, it turns out these shared interests are not very common. I say this as a woman in a male dominated field w… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/10/20 02:36 PM
Do y’all like women? This is a big “your mileage may vary” moment for me. I’m a degreed engineer in an incredibly male dominated industry. I have been surrounded by men for most of my adult life. I have many quality friendships with guys where they never act like thirsty orbiters and know proper boundaries. Maybe the intent is there somewhere, but if it is, it is well hidden. And I’m okay with that. There’s probably some class/education level factors influencing this, I would assume. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/09/20 12:45 PM
| -1 | This sub shouldn’t be ‘Us vs Them’I don't exactly consider myself a feminist but I am a woman so obviously I care about our equality/rights. I support things that typical feminists don't such as financial abortion, custody court reform, and selective service for everyone. I like browsing this subreddit, it's the main way I learn more about the issues men experience. It gives me good insight into issues I'm not aware about. | 2 | Do people underestimate how much society's lack of proper raising of boys leads to most of the problems that get brought up here, particularly in regards to the proper utilization of the male ego?It really comes down to the comparison of severity between issues faced by each demographic. Men complain about solid issues with solid numbers behind it. Things such as workplace deaths and such. Women complain about soft issues like not being treated well in the workplace or sometimes issues that are misinterpretations of data. And then they wonder why they aren't being taken seriously. I know it's pretty anger inducing, but at this point I just take it as complaining. No matter how privileged… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/05/20 11:33 AM |
Some men say that Pick Mes are most desirable but what are men doing to reward Pick Mes so more girls go down that route? Those of us who go into STEM are very financially independent. I’ve got a great career and live on my own. However I still like having a boyfriend because men are like.... nice to be around. Fun to chat with, have lots of interesting experiences, very chill etc. And of course, sex is cool too, so that’s like...an added bonus. But not really what drives me. Apparently I’m weird for thinking that here. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/05/20 08:46 PM

professional women are basically gay menEvery time someone makes a post here describing professional women I'm honestly flabbergasted. I know maybe 2 women who may fit some of the aspects of the Instagram thot/hypergamy archetype in my workplace. I don't get it. Maybe it's because I work in STEM, I dunno. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/05/20 04:17 AM
The notion that you should enjoy your 20s and then maybe think about settling down in your 30s has destroyed societyBeing a career woman is a bad idea because you're wasting your fertile years anyway, regardless of whether you're having lots of uncommitted sex or not. Bold of you to assume career women want children. Pretty sure most people know that you have to make sacrifices in your career for children. And you can still find quality LTRs if you work anything close to a normal job. It's not that hard. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/05/20 05:14 PM
Trans men are women and trans women are menSo I'm a super butch woman to the point where my mom thought I was trans at some point. The way it was described to me was that trans people actually feel like they don't fit into their biological body. Like, their brain is disoriented/confused because they don't have the correct secondary sex characteristics. I forget exactly what this was called, body dismorphia or something? | 4 | Are there attractive non religious young women who aren't addicted to Instagram? From what I've learned is that most guys on PPD would love engineer girls. Every time I see a post about female nature I'm like "nobody I know does that." Then I remember I really only hang around chill STEM types, so what do I know? Problem is they aren't too many of us, and we are almost always in a LTR due to an abundance of options. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/05/20 02:48 AM
PPD womenWell let's look at our options: 1. Investing in proper sexual education and birth control to prevent the high cost of unwanted children Investing in garbage bins for babies Both are valid strategies. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/05/20 02:18 AM

How screwed are submissive guys ?Natural female doms are out there but not common. So yeah, kinda screwed. Problem is doms tend to more aggressive and male brained (butch) so they aren't exactly the pinnacle of feminine beauty. I seem to do pretty well though. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/05/20 06:11 AM
Are you part of the 91% that find rape erotic?Only if I'm the perpetrator. But let's be real, what defines a "rape" fantasy? Most fantasies that have been described to me involve the victim having some sort of control since, well, it's their fantasy. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/05/20 04:51 AM

I need feminism because I want to be house husband lmao !If I cared about kids I would totally be okay with that arrangement. Homemaker is an important role and a guy who truly has a passion for it is not at all unattractive. Hell, I could see a lot of guys be better at it than some women because they tend to be a bit more handy around the house. Of course this is coming from an aggressively independent career woman so take that as you will. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/05/20 02:25 AM

Would you ever accept a marriage whereby you got everything that comes with it: The proposal, the engagement, the wedding, the honey moon, the public declaration of love and commitment, etc. - but it’s not a marriage under the law and has no legal ramifications should you “divorce”?Just curious, what would be your ideal system of marriage/divorce in the case of children? What most of the people here are getting at is that the legal pooling of resources through state marriage is beneficial to the upbringing of your children. Without a prenup, the marriage contract for the man is that he will still be partially responsible for his children even in the case of divorce. Is this wrong? Where is the line drawn? Who is "at fault"? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/05/20 03:42 AM

Is this like long leering stares lasting minutes at a time or just a glance at someone while you walk past them, or making eye contact when talking? We do need to recognize that fact and honor those who meet those obligations, but we can't pretend like the sexes are the same. I think this is important when considering the draft. It's a well known fact that men have a physical advantage over women in sports. They have better strength and endurance, even in their teenage years. That's just biology. So.... the point is that men are advantaged in sports I guess? Nothing really controversial there. | /r/MensRights | 19/02/20 07:48 PM |

Voluntary Acknowledgement of PaternityHuman males have anti-cuckolding routines built in. This fascinates me. I've never seen any data or anything, but my own experience suggest men have way stronger cuckolding instincts than women. Most men I have asked are staunchly against adopting a child, while most women I have asked said they would be cool with adoption. But it hits a sore spot for me that people will assume women are just not as good at STEM if they choose to be in the field. As an engineer, there are women in my workplace who are just as passionate and competent-if not more- as the men. Of course the population ratio is very much skewed towards men and it probably always will be. | 2 | If women followed a few common sense rules, the incidence of rape and sexual assault would go way downI am a woman working in engineering. It is literally impossible to avoid being alone at some point with a man you don't want to bang. Same applies to other male dominated fields. Bit of a loaded question, but I'll take a shot at it. Short answer: I'd would probably prefer both approximately equally on average, but will value one over the other depending on the situation I'm in. | 5 | Study Finds Sexlessness is at an All Time High - Here's WhyIt does not affect women differently If you look at the symptoms of low T they are the same for men and women. Methods of increasing T work for both genders and show the same benefits. | 8 | Study Finds Sexlessness is at an All Time High - Here's WhyThis is very interesting. When I was researching birth control methods I specifically looked to find out if the various methods would change my normal testosterone levels. The only thing I was able to confirm was that you don't get that testosterone spike around ovulation because birth control stops your menstrual cycle, but otherwise it doesn't effect your normal levels. We are few but we exist. Sometimes I wonder if I should put my childfree status on my resume. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/03/19 11:12 AM
A common expressive around here is, "Boys were lied to their entire lives" in reference to their mothers, teachers, caregivers and other women in their lives. What are some examples of this?I never expected any help, and assuming that women do is the same sentiment I was talking about above. I made my way through engineering school and got an engineering job on my own merit. What I’m saying is that nothing will change if you’re hostile to women in the workplace. Simply be neutral. We don’t need your help but we don’t need your opposition either. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/02/19 09:44 PM
A common expressive around here is, "Boys were lied to their entire lives" in reference to their mothers, teachers, caregivers and other women in their lives. What are some examples of this?I think it's obvious I'm not going to change your mind, but I will say this: Sentiments like this are barriers to women who actually like working STEM/typically male occupations. There are some of us who want to work hard/long hours for what we believe in, you just have to give us a chance instead of just instantly ostracizing us from the workplace for being "generally inferior". | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/02/19 08:26 PM
A common expressive around here is, "Boys were lied to their entire lives" in reference to their mothers, teachers, caregivers and other women in their lives. What are some examples of this?Okay so I guess career women don’t exist? I’ll just do you all a favor and fade from existence then. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/02/19 03:51 AM

Its been too divisive in here lately, how about a fun masculine/feminine question?I shoot with compound bows, but I occasionally use a recurve for smaller game. Usually go after north american game birds like turkey, goose etc. I'll do deer if I have the time to treat/prepare its meat. I've used some bolt action rifles before and I think they're pretty cool, but I've never owned one. Aiming was a lot trickier than it looked, even if the gun doesn't have a lot of recoil. I'm much better with a compound bow. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/02/19 08:04 PM
Its been too divisive in here lately, how about a fun masculine/feminine question?23, woman. Traditionally masculine attributes: -FPS video games -Engineer by degree and occupation (work in a power plant) -Trading card games -Machining/3D printing and making cool stuff like arcade cabinets and furniture -Hiking, fishing, and bow hunting -Big carnivore -Suck at anything related to make-up and fashion -I like fancy beer Traditionally feminine attributes: -Can cook decent meals? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/02/19 07:41 PM
How much money would I have to pay you to switch your gender?Am female. I am incredibly jealous of the male physique but I'm not sure if I'd actually want to date women. Can I be gay if change? If so, then I could be convinced for the low price of $69.99 | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/02/19 07:19 PM
The conformist school system leads obedient followers to false beliefs about status in women's eyesI am in total agreement with you on the current education system lacking anything resembling critical thinking. This resonates with me because this actually hinders you in the workforce. In my job, as long as your basis is sound for making decisions, your method doesn't matter. The company actually encourages you to question established procedures if you feel you can do it better. In real life, there are infinite ways to approach problems. I would also venture to say that being able to problem s… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/02/19 06:02 PM
Is there a reason red & purple pill claim women love shopping/spending money despite the vast majority of minimalist blogs, youtubes (including things like the financial diet) are started and ran by women who dont want those things?I don’t think is an unreasonable assumption if you’ve based it off observations. Anecdotal but I have never known a woman who does this all the time. Maybe it’s because most of us are still young and poor. Of course most people still want to eat things that taste good, so I wouldn’t really say most men eat in the manner of “I’m hungry so I want to put something in my stomach”. I think it’s normal to want to eat frugally but not want to eat plain pasta all the time. Many of us don’t even have the… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/02/19 02:48 PM
Newer generations are having LESS sex than previous ones, the "sex recession"I believe that the majority of women would want to economically date up, I was just wondering about the proportion due to my anecdotal experience. I bet none of your friends will marry these men/have their children, and will be extremely unhappy if they do. I'm not gonna speak for others, but I can tell you I don't understand this. If I'm in a LTR with someone who has a lower salary and I am currently happy with them, why would I start hating them after marriage? Is there some kind of threshold?… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/01/19 12:06 AM
Men are more attractive than women. CMVJust an interesting aside on male lions: their manes actually have an evolutionary purpose of protecting their neck in fights with other lions. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/01/19 08:51 PM
Men are more attractive than women. CMVI'm not going to go into an exhaustive study of my sexual history, but I can describe general trends if you consider that sufficient. I am an engineer by degree and occupation so I've only dated those in STEM (by occupation/school/hobbies). Most women (also in STEM) I've known date within their immediate social circle, like me. My partners have always been what most people would consider "nerds" "dorks" etc. They have all been middle class or from middle class families (same as me) I can say tha… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/01/19 07:37 PM
Men are more attractive than women. CMVI have a hard time figuring out how to self assess if I'm attracted to the "minority" of men. I honestly don't know how anyone can do it without being omnipotent or something. Being average is such a broad term, I can't figure out a basis for comparison. All I can say is that I've never had issues finding guys I want to date. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/01/19 07:07 PM
Men are more attractive than women. CMVSometimes you just gotta pick your battles. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/01/19 06:53 PM
Men are more attractive than women. CMVI'm not going to debate this view but I am genuinely curious. How did you develop the belief that all women are lesbian or bisexual? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/01/19 06:38 PM
Newer generations are having LESS sex than previous ones, the "sex recession"In response to reason 3: We should do a study on what proportion of women are okay with dating down economically. None of my female friends care about the salary of their partner, or even their employment status. The man just has to show that he wants a job of some sort (even SAHD counts). My boyfriend makes considerably less than me. Maybe my sample is biased. Could be that's just a STEM thing. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/01/19 06:28 PM
More evidence that women don't want childrenI don't believe that our modern western society has somehow made women want children less, it's just that those who are childfree have the option to eliminate the risk of having children with birth control. I also don't buy the "women want an easy life" reason. It's really an oversimplification. I agree that life is easier without kids because you get to save more money and time. I am staunchly childfree. But my reason is because I want to devote that time and money to other ambitions/passions a… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/01/19 06:12 PM

What are some things women can do better than men?20 comments with "positive" traits (emotional intelligence, risk adverse etc) 8 comments with "negative" traits (manipulating, not better at anything, getting white knights etc) Interesting distribution. | 6 | I found a non-hypergamic wife, so it is possible.People use the term masculine but I have a hard time interpreting what exactly people mean by it when applying it to women. I have my definition, but what does it mean to everyone else? Does she have to have a masculine body type? Simply have a job that can support herself? Have masculine hobbies? Work in a STEM occupation? Active/passive? Dominant/submissive? All of the above?I've never associated dom/sub qualities to either gender. It's an intriguing question. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/01/19 12:41 PM
If a stranger slapped your ass in public, how would you want your SO to handle it?I understand I’m not a badass. But I can’t stand by and let people fight for me without doing anything when it’s someone I care about. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/01/19 10:07 PM
If a stranger slapped your ass in public, how would you want your SO to handle it?How does anybody? Like I said, there's so many factors involved debating it doesn't really work. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/01/19 09:51 PM
If a stranger slapped your ass in public, how would you want your SO to handle it?Fantastic example. Every time a guy does rude shit like that, they don't know how to react when the girl actually asserts herself. They're accustomed to easy prey. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/01/19 09:19 PM
If a stranger slapped your ass in public, how would you want your SO to handle it?By masculine I mean more in attitude than in physical build, just to clarify. And as I was discussing in the other thread, I understand your view because you obviously have only seen women who don't know how to handle these kinds of fights, which is totally the norm and understandable. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/01/19 09:12 PM
If a stranger slapped your ass in public, how would you want your SO to handle it?You read my mind, haha. I used to carry mace when I lived in rougher areas. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/01/19 09:07 PM
If a stranger slapped your ass in public, how would you want your SO to handle it?I agree with your reasoning but only when talking about averages. The above situation and the many assumptions that go with it are reasonable when considering the woman has no idea how to defend herself, which isn't a bad assumption when generalizing the whole. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/01/19 08:59 PM
If a stranger slapped your ass in public, how would you want your SO to handle it?I did state that I think fighting is totally unnecessary in OP's situation. We're just debating the edge case here. I was just under the impression that a 2v1 is more favorable than a 1v1. I like to say I support equality. If I was getting the tar beat out of me I'd want a SO to help. If my SO is getting the tar beat out of him then of course I would help. I'm not going to forgo basic decency. Although honestly there are so many unknown factors that can influence a situation like this, that deba… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/01/19 08:34 PM
If a stranger slapped your ass in public, how would you want your SO to handle it?I mean, I'd like to think that'd we would know each other enough to not get in each other's way if we were SOs. I don't think you're giving us masculine women enough credit. A few of us learn to work with what we have even though we are disadvantaged. And in any case, some of us want to go down fighting at the very least. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/01/19 08:00 PM
If a stranger slapped your ass in public, how would you want your SO to handle it?I would prefer my SO to stand back and let me handle it. Sure, he can back me up if I ask for it, but I've noticed that most guys who do rude shit like that tend to back off when you very calmly tell them to go fuck themselves. They either want you to be too uncomfortable to confront them, or they want you to freak out. Don't give them the satisfaction and they'll run away to seek out easier targets. I would not want my SO to run in and start swinging because I believe the situation you describe… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/01/19 07:37 PM
Those of you who think female empowerment is the worst thing to happen: are you prepared to be a patriarch?Good comment. I'm going to show my boyfriend this comment today and tell him that he should never be afraid to offend me with his honest opinion. Not worth making yourself miserable over that fear. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/01/19 07:11 PM
How do I (M24) navigate around the fact that my social status is far lower than it should be for my age?Honestly this hits the nail on head for me. I'm not super attractive (look kinda masculine) but all my adult life I have never had issues finding sexual partners or LTRs. This is because I have traditionally masculine hobbies and work in a male dominated occupation (engineering), and guys seem to really like it when they can bond with a sexual partner over hobbies. And since people like me are in so high demand, orbiting them will never work. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/01/19 01:07 PM
Why do women rarely date down compared to men? And is it shallow? The algorithm may be similar, but I'm talking about taking this and making it more controlled and recordable | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/12/18 02:22 PM
Why do women rarely date down compared to men? And is it shallow? You know what would be an interesting experiment? Get a huge collection of couples pictures via social media (possibly sort them by country/location for additional control). Get a sampling of individuals and have them determine who in each photo is "dating down" so to speak. Would require a fair amount of bureaucracy but could yield telling results. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/12/18 01:08 PM
[Q4W] If some freak accident happened to your vag, what would you do to keep your man?I know a lot of engineers who like giving oral too. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/12/18 10:18 PM
What would happen if men acted collectively?I agree with that. We swung too far one way, like we did with other laws. Compromise could have balanced it out better. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/12/18 04:37 PM
What would happen if men acted collectively? That I definitely agree with. If I disagree with men’s only university then I disagree with woman’s only university. I think the fraternity/sorority dynamic at these very institutions is an example of how these things can coexist. But that’s an entirely different argument. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/12/18 04:25 PM
What would happen if men acted collectively? It’s not fair the both sides. That’s the conundrum. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/12/18 04:19 PM
What would happen if men acted collectively? Not exactly. My gist is that it would be harder to get into a school that fits my academic credentials because choice is now severely limited. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/12/18 04:18 PM
What would happen if men acted collectively?I see. However, by this logic, I doubt I would have ever found an engineering school because the majority of them are old enough that they were “built by men for men”. Progress is great, but I don’t think it’s fair to industrious women that we have to wait for all these gender neutral colleges to be built just because men got the head start on us. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/12/18 03:58 PM
What would happen if men acted collectively? Here’s what I don’t understand about this: did we destroy these spaces by simply letting woman participate? Am I wrong to go to engineering school (a male dominated space) because I have a passion for it? I agree that there could definitely be more male-only spaces to equal out the female -only spaces (I.e. shelters for victims of abuse and assault) but you can do that without restricting a woman’s choice in life, right? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/12/18 03:34 PM

Men marrying up: What do you think of it?Inceltears doesn't have anything to do with income status as far as I know. It just shows crazy extremist views some Incels have. Although Inceltears sometimes leans into its own kind of extremism. Can't speak for the other subs though. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/11/18 06:42 PM
Men marrying up: What do you think of it?You are very much correct in my case. I'm an engineer at a power plant and my boyfriend works in a paint store. I have never had the desire to make fun of men in "lesser" occupations. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/11/18 06:16 PM
Can anyone provide concrete, detailed examples of a guy becoming "an asshole" and suddenly faring better with women? What actually *specifically* happened? The ultimatum itself doesn't come off as creepy/assholeish to me. Even outside of a dating/sexual situation I've seen indecisive people flounder around trying to actually plan something and you sometimes just have to force it on them. The "dress sexy" part is what crosses the line for me. I don't like people I've never met telling me what to do. But really that's personal preference so your mileage may vary. You're correct in saying that it depends on the reader. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/11/18 04:52 PM
Q4RP: How are these following articles about toxic masculinity attacking and blaming men?Honestly this a just a reading comprehension disagreement. It's an argument over whether the word culture/society implies partial blame on women or not. I think many people here agree that women reinforce toxic behaviors as well. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/11/18 01:09 PM
