This comment sounds a little weird now that I read it out loud

Society abandoned personal responsibility in the West a long time ago. It's an intentional and protracted form of cultural warfare to create generations of helpless, entitled, hive-minded people. *not a Republican, just an observation

"If destroying the global economy saves one life, it's worth it!" Absolute child-like self-congratulatory mental gymnastics

I went through some dark times (much darker than I'd care to admit) through my teens and into my early 20s. Other commenters have said things I would say, so I won't repeat them. However, I would like to say that the teenage angst shit fades with time. You're still young and hormonal. I just turned 30 and I've been surprised at how much I've naturally mellowed out compared to the dark, brooding, depressed, angsty me I was in my younger years. You need to set some goals for yourself. I also strug…

The way you're feeling is totally normal bro, and it just means you're human. You're feeling betrayed, maybe asking yourself "How could I not know?" It's painful to realize you've been living a delusion, but it's not your fault. You were honest and generous with her, and she was a lying vampire. It fucking sucks to feel like a sucker -- most men on this subreddit have at some point, myself included. Look at the bright side (I know that's difficult right now): imagine if you found all this shit o…

They can, but I've heard of many instances of a prenuptial agreement being thrown out in court based on a judge's discretion. My ex-girlfriend and I discussed that option but it wasn't a guarantee and so it seemed like little more than a prayer. There were other factors that contributed to the breakup, but that was sort of the final factor.

I had made it known a year or so prior that marriage posed too much risk to men and that I wasn't willing to put myself in a position to be ruined financially and emotionally on a whim. Somewhere along the way she decided she did want marriage & kids, we talked about it, and decided to part ways. Was painful but I wanted to stay true to myself & for her to get the things she wanted out of life, even if I couldn't provide them.

I had a girlfriend for several years and was into MGTOW philosophy for a number of those. We had a great time and made many fond memories, but she wanted to upgrade to marriage and I couldn't do it. Otherwise we'd still be together, so I suppose I'm going monk for now. Not against relationships as long as it is beneficial to the man, but that is becoming rarer by the day.

I've met 50x as many men that said "don't get married" than ones who felt it was awesome lol

It is very practical, and for my 2020 I love the way it looks. Beautiful machine

There's a row of trees planted close together prior to these, but then there are these two so far apart. Maybe the others didn't make it lol. And yeah I've been having a blast on my bike. It can be very therapeutic to go for a ride. You have to constantly analyze the road and other vehicles, predict hazards, and use all 4 limbs to control the bike -- definitely can get you in the zone!

If you really want to experience sex, look into hiring a professional. Feminism is telling us that sex work is real work, so you even have their blessing lol

I don't get their logic in not charging her. What a miscarriage of Justice, yet again at the expense of a man.

Women don't want peace & stability, they want the drama. The drama engages her emotions, which are a woman's life blood. It's all about the Rollercoaster. Women also love attention, so being a victim grants them that, which is why they stick around. Obviously the chicks who do call the cops & get out of the relationship aren't like that.

My mom split from my dad for no real good reason when I was 9. She could be very toxic and she messed with my self-esteem as a young boy. I had to live with her as she got custody by using the "silver bullet" of child abuse allegations, which were nothing more than spankings for misbehavior. Best thing my dad did was move to an apartment nearby so I could walk a few minutes to see him & hang out with him almost daily & every weekend of my own accord. Mom moved out of state & dad fought for full …

Anyone paying attention to current events should plan on being dead in <10 years. Neo-feudalism, constant surveillance, social credit scores, digital currency, and global depopulation. People may rise up, but it's not looking good right now. People need to wake the f$%^ up and stop using hopeium.

I'm kinda in the same boat as you. I am not really sure looking abroad is the right answer, as female nature is still going to be female nature. I also have a tender spot for the idea of marriage & kids, but I think part of that is just because of the blue-pill fantasy I was indoctrinated with as a kid. I'm not nihilistic about the situation, but I think there would need to be some big changes in society for it to be appropriate to go back "to the way things were", and honestly, people were prob…

I just split from my gf of 5.5 years because it came down to an ultimatum of marriage and children. The real kicker was when we first started dating, it wasn't serious, so she told me she had a high body count, but I didn't really care... then I caught feelings. Reading stories like yours help me remember I made the right choice, even if it hurts for a little while.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
