No they don't. Or are you saying women who Experience domestic abuse are at fault?

I was given handjobs twice. Even the second one, which was after I told her to not act like she was punch ing my groin, was too rough. I hope I never have that feeling again.

This is literally contrary to every research and survey result ever published. And your one anecdote doesn't change that.

She lost her credibility when one video she was advising to incels about not caring too much about sex and grinding Joy in other things. A couple videos later, she was gloating about dating a Chad-like guy.

Have you ever seen women over 30-35 without makeup? Overwhrlming majority look awful. But I guess delusion via fakeup is better than being honest with yourself.

There is a problem with this logic, in that just because she was a slut for men she found attractive, doesn't mean she will be a slut for the most likely average looking betabux she'll marry. Alpha widows are a real thing.

I am going to presume you used "multiple linear regression" to check if the "variables used in the calculator" were confounders. Not controlling for "any" confounders. Also regarding this topic, from the blog Psychology and Neuroscience Research: 6) Regression analysis or Structural Equation Models are able to demonstrate causal relationship. Wrong. Nothing in the two statistical methods allows to infer anything about causal relationship between variables. They are used tipically with specific h…

I'll leave these two here: Risk Factors: Misunderstandings and Abuses The Top Five Most Annoying Statistical Fallacies A lot of the talk on this (or any) topic by TRP has zero causational value, is riddled with post hoc fallacy, no consideration for confounders etc. Heck even the comments on the social pathology blogpost made good points against the Heritage study.

I have. Well, sort of. After finding bodycrimes' blog, who was at the time writing about manuresphere bullshit, I realized that most of my "knowledge" about feminism I had learned from anti-feminists. So I looked around, looked at the what feminists were saying and I decided that they were in the right.

Isn't it feminist Hanna Rosin who showed that pay gap is actually something like 91 cents to a dollar now? I don't know, I guess I can't really see feminism as man-bashing when the most "extreme" rhetoric I see from feminists are critiques of toxic masculinity.
/r/ExRedPill24/09/14 06:39 AM

tracking down harm from feminism takes a lot more work and is a lot fuzzier Or just creating conspiracy theories. But feminism has actually done it's equivalent in the real world - gotten people fired for disagreeing with feminist thoughts. Are you one of those people who spout horrific bullshit then try to pass criticism off as "political correctness gone wild"? Please show us examples. But feminism is not actually better - feminism would just have deranged women tell the police that the sex th…

I was talking about the rest of world not the Western world (in fact i specified it), but please don't let your bad reading comprehension skills or your Eurocentricism thwart you. Is the fact men are 4x more likely to commit suicide being pushed to success? Women attempt suicide more than men. The reason male suicide attempts are more "successful"(for the lack of a better word) than female suicide attempts is because of the methods used. And before you go on a diatribe about how women are manipu…

Men aren't automatically given power Please keep telling yourself. We are talking about a world were girls are directed to a certain lifestyle from birth while boys are pushed towards being successful. I'm sure that such an environment may play a teensy weensy role in "more likely to strive for it and therefore end up obtaining it" part. This wouldn't be as funny as it is right now if you weren't in a sub that tries to shame "Career Carrie"s and use an inherent social advantage and sometimes rel…

1 in 200 men direct descendants of Genghis Khan Contains direct links to 2003 and 2007 studies and a summary. I wouldn't say "war" (it would take a lot more wars to get the numbers we're talking about) The world hasn't really seen a shortage of wars. I wasn't meaning "world war"s. Thus I'm unsure of your assertion. That however would only further show how miserable of an existence most men have had throughout history. Okay and why do you think women are these uniform group? The women that line up to be their girlfriends are indeed their counterparts most of the time. Contrary to RP belief, assortative mating still goes on strong.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/14 11:38 AM

I specified "mature" also. But still: http://www.themilf.net/models There aren't many 20 year olds in the mix. Not much 30 year olds either.

I meant groveling as in "groveling", in other words losing their standards of choice and subjecting themselves to treatment they don't want. The ones who have casual relationships more than LTRs, do so because they want to, not because they were deemed unfit by the guy and reduced to "plate" status. It isn't really a secret that older women are much more direct than their younger counterparts. Possibly from increasing testosterone.

I honestly don't want to waste my time and it seems that it will be wasted.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/14 11:31 PM

That's not the original "Wall" definition. Also, from what I'm seeing, 40 year old women aren't necessarily groveling for LTRs, either. In fact, the ones that got out of the relationship and got back into the scene, don't really seem to want to be tied down, at least for a while. They do find someone eventually though and not necessarily older.

Women don't lose their sex appeal completely by 40(sometimes younger) as TRP says? That they can indeed be sexually attractive later on in life?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/14 11:02 PM

Pretty much every time they've said women lose their attractiveness nearly completely by 40? So are you saying you would have sex with someone you have near to no attraction to?

when the roles are reversed as is the current de-facto system, is it ok? Are you actually suggesting men are subservient to women?

It interested me when I read about it, so I went to a couple of their major forums, read around, asked them questions, enjoyed their videos(lol), spoke with a couple bloggers on the topic. etc. Like I said, it seems that most of the time it is the guy that initiates. Sometimes it's the woman that starts the convo. And sometimes they go into the relationship knowingly. Unfortunately, I can't really produce any statistics, mostly because it is a somewhat overlooked area, based on the prejudice the…

Compare Don Draper's workforce to the workforce of today. You really said this. As if advertisement isn't even more cutthroat today... Consensus be damned, let's get shit done. And how are we not getting shit done? Give me some statistics. And the rest of your comment is "feelings, why are they important?", some generalizations (about what exactly? Are you saying women don't produce enough "widgets"?). Thus our society has been feminized. Heh, gynocentric society it is.

I'm not saying "cuckoldry" as in cheating. That is obviously a horrible thing that noone wants. I'm talking about "cuckoldry" as in cuckold-hotwife relationships. In fact, most of the time it's the man that approaches the wife with this request, not the woman. People can get off sexually on many different things.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/14 08:38 PM
5

Even that's a bridge too far? I actually don't think that society is being feminized in the first place. Men doing stuff differently than their ancestors doesn't really make them feminized, nor would I consider such a notion inherently bad. In nearly every generation, the young ones are criticised for not conforming. Men in the 19th century lamented the feminization of boys and angrily reproached women for their sexuality. Ancient Greeks lamented that boys were growing up weak and soft due to to…

It's still very rare. Pretending like this is as common as, say, barely legal porn, is absurd. Mature/Milf porn is even more common. Does this say that men want to have sex with older women more?

It's NOT valid if applied to the underlying, amoral theory of the system. We don't? What is this indictment? We actually argue whether women are hypergamous and whether this trait isn't really there in men.

Haha what? Actually, it's not "in no way permanently". There is real emotional scarring, loss of trust in general, symptoms that are similar to mild form of PTSD that's at play here(in fact it is the reason many terpers are where they are). Some people shrug it off in time. A lot of people don't. It's something that can be prevented by a talk but isn't, because of the selfishness of one party. Anyway I'm assuming you've started trolling. I am probably not going to answer you any more.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/14 02:04 PM

They just hypergamy onto my cock. Again with "hypergamy". Does a man cheating on his gf with a more attractive woman get described as hypergamy? If not, why? If so, why the need for a specific name other than cheating? Also, I'm very unsure of your stories. Weren't you in a monogamous relationship like a week ago? Yes, I don't like posting the same thing over and over, because it creates a pollution. http://www.skeptic.com/reading_room/sex-jealousy-and-violence/. Again, one of my links is the dissection of Buss's theories. I'm assuming you didn't read it or check out my sources, before you linked to the second study. And the first study gives me a "File Not Found (Error 404)" so I can't really comment on it immediately. I'll try to check it out.

Okay... Let's check out one of the posts: If you expect women to be men with tits, you'll be sorely let down by them all the time. Their lack of honor, their lack of courage. Their lack of dedication to truth, justice, or loyalty. HELLOOO!!! Women aren't men with boobs so: Women don't have honor like men do! They aren't dedicated to justice, truth and loyalty like men are! Don't try to muddy the waters.

I'm guessing you're not in danger of a TRP man coming onto you. Post wall hag, amirite?! Why the hatred? I think we've given pretty good reasons here: Blue pillers, what positives do you see in the existence of red pill? Do you think TRP has a legislative agenda that will take away your right to vote? Actually the red pill community does have this agenda, but you know... It's good to have your eyes wide shut.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/14 08:21 AM

Bullshit and you know it. All along this thread you've been saying women cheat for completely different reasons than men and also men cheating isn't as bad as women cheating. And all along this thread, we've been calling you out for being wrong and biased. But yeah, I guess we're the sollipsists.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/14 08:10 AM

Actually, no there isn't. And you are confirming what I said here pretty well: http://www.reddit.com/r/TheBluePill/comments/1y84xz/the_difference_between_when_a_man_gets_cheated_on/cfi9eta The only difference is your perception of it. Will it be more okay with you if women cheat but don't leave? (btw, again where are those statistics on this.)
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/14 08:06 AM
7

Your implicit assumption is that the woman's narrative is correct and not revisionist history. Yeah, you know, there is this thing called taking people at their word. There's nothing saying that the marriage wasn't perfect prior to the wife meeting Mr Studly and feeling the tingles and then she rewrote history saying the marriage was fucked up all along. And I assume you have proof that this is the case?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/14 08:04 AM

And I could say the same about your post. I can assume you deliberately mischaracterized my post. This isn't just about this post. Someone points to insults and gross, faulty generalizations, you say "sorry, we don't care about PC". I say internet anonymity gives a secrecy cloak to organized harrasment and threats, you are there to say "Pshaw, PC shaming culture". I'm pretty sure, at this point, you are an xBox fan. I actually edited that post you responded to just to avoid aggravating language …

You deliberately put this "Yeah we aren't PC deal with it" attitude in your posts, I assume to aggravate. What we are saying is... In addition to being politically incorrect, you are plain incorrect about many things. Also, yes, just because one can say the same thing in the most disgusting manner possible doesn't make it okay or mean that we should stand for it. Because of feeeeeeeelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/14 06:44 AM

What are you talking about? Yeah, early twenties are where people are able to somewhat leave their homes more and be individuals. So? What does this have to with anything? Is this a "society has lied to us :'(" rhetoric? Also you know that teenage girls have sex with teenage boys the overwhelming majority of the time, right (most of the time, their boyfriends)? How does that fit into the "young guys are unattractive" rhetoric?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/14 12:23 AM

Outside of TRP, virgin women (especially if they are older) get a sort of "What's wrong with her?" look. It's bullshit of course, having not had sex is not a symptom of a mental disorder, for both genders. Anyway, if this is a person they've just met, I agree with you. The woman will think "This guy won't even get me off" and write him off. This is of course not necessarily true but preconceptions are hard to break. If this is a person that you've spent some time before though, this probably won…

A common thread/theme I see in reddit Clearly an unbiased anecdote mine, but do go on. they wish they could go back to their twenties full of buff men that still gave them the time of day. Well, the reasoning goes like this: Women want better genes and their "love" is based on this, when a more superior man comes into frame or his husband gives her the reins (aka autonomy) she will start seeing his genes as weak and cheat on him with a better man. That's the broader understanding of "hypergamy" and it is a specific topic of EvoPsych and consequently TRP that gets rubbed in people's faces over and over. But in reality, it is just a topic where you are able to cherry-pick your evide…

It is a very large network that has been left unchecked and unmoderated for very long. As human interactions via the internet have increased, it has taken an important role in our lives. An email is, as important as, say, telephone calls. But it is much easier to arrange organized harassment and threats of violence under the cloak of anonymity. And let's not go to that extreme, denigrating people shouldn't be this easy. Average person + anonymity seems to equal raging asshole, at some level.

Well, considering what you see in romcoms is called "mainstream" dating advice in TRP, no. To be serious, yes. Although I don't know if you can call them "mainstream". I mean yeah, Mark Manson got nearly 30k likes on facebook and 200k likes once more when his article was published in the Huffington Post. And Paging Dr. Nerdlove seems to be somewhat known within the nerd community. But for example, Juggler? I don't think anyone who hasn't read "The Game" will have heard of him. Anyone who has rea…

No, it's actually a feminist blog that dissects the manosphere. It's pretty good. There was a guy there who called Cinzia's blog scat porn (the manosphere being the scat) and I thought that was really similar to what you said so I was surprised.

Romance is different than "being soulmates". It is more like "working towards a position where both of you will want to be together forever". It involves "action", which the "soulmate" experience doesn't. One shouldn't really take romantic advice from romcoms. Feelings are the canvas that you, me and everybody on the world puts their worldview and thoughts upon(Heck, the whole basis of "Stumbling on Happiness" is this.) They just act in the background for most people, in subtle ways that they do…

I loved the "rebound relationship" analogy. That was exactly my position with the red pill. This is so wrong on all levels: First, there were no alpha male harems in the earlier times, because tribes and bands were mostly egalitarian. Harems are more of the product of post-agricultural age. Learn some history and anthropolgy rather than regurgitating manospherean claims when it serves you to do so. Second, it gives men the opportunity to propagate their genes where they usually wouldn't be able to do so. What's the proof? The "%40-%80 passing of genes disparity between the genders" are…

The problem is I don't know the history of feminism in Sweden. For example there was a spike of divorces and decrease in marriages in the "braburning" era in the USA, but both of those effects have slowly been reversing. This study was between 1981-1998 which is new, but I don't know. To truly know someone it can take years. Marriage should not be decided willy nilly. I agree.

It is pretty interesting, especialy the highest quartile showing the highest increase, I think it is the opposite of USA data. But I really don't know if we can understand hypergamy from this. The point that gets rubbed hard into your skull in "No More Mr Nice Guy" or other similar books is that "having needs itself is neither bad, nor unattractive" than goes on to describe what "neediness" is and how it differs from "having needs". People already marry assortatively according to their education and social status. It's always been this way, classes don't really mix too much. Also, are you trying to say that women's attractiveness has takes a dive when they reach the magical wall, while men's stay about the same? The ability to earn higher income in women has decreased hypergamy(yes it's still there, you win) and increased the previous near-non-existant hypogamy in women.

We can just as easily say that it's unrealistic for men to expect to have a fulfilling, loving and longlived marriage while putting so little effort in. See? Athol Kay has said countless times that in his experience "the aloof alpha" works just as well as "the supplicating beta", meaning not very good at all. How can you ever expect to reach a state of gender equality when men and women have these vastly different expectations? We meet each other in the middle. Pick one, seriously, because it's …

Women are more demanding in general, requiring more time, money, affection, effort, etc, than men require of their mate. You say this, so it must be true. But even if it is true, why is it less honorable? Women's more critical assessments of fitness and the unrealistic expectations they hold going into marriages are linked to the poor outcomes of many marriages. First of all, a lot of assumptions, not enough data. If it is linked, show us the links. Second, again, why is it unrealistic?

Btw, I definitely don't think that these are "naturally feminine" or something like that. It's just that things like harsh applications traditional gender roles (and TRP's view of the world) push people towards these identities(not the only cause, obviously). Because femininity is defined as shy, demure, unable to meet her own needs and make her own decisions, naturally for someone to get what she wants they have to use underhanded tactics. Also for example, there was an assertion that "empathy,…

/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/14 12:34 AM

You are knowingly misconstruing what I said, why I don't know though. I'm saying that if these hair styles: pixie or other longer-but-still short haircuts are as unattractive as you guys say(but I completely disagree), girls will adjust (if being attractive is something they want). SMP is a free market, it will always adjust itself.

TIL short hair only means pixie cuts. And that I, as a man, am supposed to find a woman whose hair fits her facial structure less desirable. Anyhoo, no need for the constant handwringing and insulting of women who choose this haircut. If men really find them less desirable, their market value will lessen. It really shows the insecurity behind this argument when people like you try to shame others into what you believe is the right box.

Who said they didn't. I pointed to the extremes where people did stuff even without any material rewards. Few guys your age have had as many partners as you. Few will have had as many enjoyable and memorable experiences even when they're twice your age. The count of partners doesn't mean the amount of enjoyment and memories you get. Also, few girls her age have had as many partners as her also. The rampant hookup scene isn't really as prevalent as redpillers try to make it out to be. And they have absolutely no idea why. They feel like failures and they don't even know what they did wrong. They just …

Umm, they aren't nebulous actually. I used desire instead of attraction for a reason. And in the end that's what gets me, taking any old self-improvement advice or wisdom, covering it with bile and serving it as red pill so now the followers can believe they are part of a secret community. But still you can believe that the seduction community created new information rather than package old data if you want to.

Desire and comfort as the categories of what humans want in their mates has been said a lot of times long before Rollo Tomassi ever repeated them.

Wow, you really butchered that phrase. And no, I'm not going to give you the pleasure of having the last word.

My first comment was related to him being "mysterious" about te ways he "takes advantage of" the system or of the people, but I made it clear that I was thinking he meant the second meaning. Taking words out of context... You are such a master debater, from now on your tag is MasterBater.

Yes, people can give bad advice. The "Just be yourself" is something you say when you are giving a 3 word peptalk to someone who has already shown himself able but is having jitters. It is used out of place. Although I'm not one, most feminists I have encountered agree that women and men are different. But intragender variance is shown to be higher than intergender variance on a number of topics (easiest one I can think of; sexual orientation and restriction). We also have a problem differentiat…

Hmmm, okay. A better analogy would have been going to a restaurant and having two choices: you can have your favourite meal whenever you want (with extras such as backrubs, massages, footrubs when you eat) or you have to forage for food that may or may not turn out to be tasteful. ETA: take advantage of To put to good use, avail oneself of: take advantage of all educational opportunities. To profit selfishly by, exploit: took advantage of the customer. He meant it as the second meaning. You are …

There is no "taking advantage of the system" in the concept you are talking about, being able to have casual sex with partners isn't a bug, it's a feature, although a much less rewarding feature. Somehow I don' think that was what he meant but whatever.

Then I am definitely not following this conversation. Does this mean he's playing off on their insecurities caused by those social systems? Or trying to convince demure, prudish girls into becoming your sluts by whispering "It's okay, times have changed" into their ears? Opening this up further would be more revealing than just leaving it my imagination, considering I have zero idea about your daily life or conditions.

I have zero idea. I generally try to not take advantage of other people.

I'm just a red piller who accepts this how most women will be, and tries to make it work for myself by taking advantage of it. I have to roll my eyes here. Of all the ways to win in the system (and by that I mean get your needs-emotional or otherwise- met and live a fulfilling, self-actualized and happy life) what redpill gives is the least gain for the most collateral damage. Also, most women are pretty well balanced, in my opinion.

Ah, I should have been more clear, I meant that they didn't want to have sex but wanted to avoid conflict or the other person kept pushing etc. Anyway, I got my answer. But to be completely honest, I have never seen or heard of LMR being as common as red pill tries to make it out to be.

Have to ask... legitimate hamstering - do you think that a conflict-avoidant person saying okay to sex after being pushed mentally, is that a legitimate LMR?

No, I mean I didn't understand your analogies.

I'm not the one who downvoted, but I really didn't understand what you meant and how it was relevant.

Also, won't you pay child support anyway if it is needed, even when you are not married?

These guys think they are somehow going to drown in pussy when they get to that sweet spot of their game. Not only do you have more sex in a relationship(quantity), you also have better sex(quality) and it's with someone you care about and love. It is, I think, the best of both worlds.

Is this upper class comment to the alimony/cs argument or false abuse claims? Is there a difference between social classes about the false persecution of men? Never really heard of such a thing. Also, fear without something legitimate to back it up with, brings paranoia and hatred. No need to be a distributor of negative emotions.

How prevalent is this? Also what percentage of these false claims lead to the persecution of the man? (long or short term) This is the exact definition of fear mongering, you know. ETA: My instantly going to the topic of alimony/child support was related to there being a somewhat similar comment below, by the way. Sorry if I put words into your mouth.

Considering people generally marry within their social class, a (higher than before) percentage of women earning higher than their spouses and it is actually easier for men to get custody (when they fight for it) and the fact that divorce rates are in fact dropping, I don't really see your point. Do you think the celebrity alimony and child support payments you see are common? In fact the weirdest part of all, the women who would get lesser alimony because they can earn their own money, are also…

I completely agree with you. This was a point I constantly try to make in TBP, I think you put it very well.

This is weird. TBP's favourite dating advice giver is Dr. Nerdlove and from what I've read of him, his advice is definitely not the "just be confident" "just be yourself" type. He's made fun of this trope several times in fact. "men and women are the same" Who said this, please show them for us to see. "watch romantic comedies" Romantic comedies are fun, they are cool, they are overexaggarated fiction. If you, at a point in your life, tried to take dating advice from such a genre, that's kinda y…

I am a bit torn on the subject of financial abortion. -On one hand, a man does not have any sort of reproductive rights, apart from deciding not to have sex, use condom, get a vasectomy. The condom breaks, she decides to keep it... you are paying for 18 years. -On the other hand, there is a kid involved. With abortion, the end result is no kid, so there is no fallout. With the proposed financial abortion, there is a kid and his/her life quality is going to go down a lot. Now yeah, "it's the moth…
