some "mgtows" do date, but all agree that marriage is bad. i have female friends. there's no hard rule saying you can't make friends. just make sure the friendship is mutually beneficial and that you're not simping. yes i've been studying taoism, stoicism and minimalism and found "mgtow" to be very compatible with those philosophies.

I was quite dorky in my younger years and found it difficult to get into nightclubs. I'd get rejected by bouncers maybe 50% of the time, so I thought "fuck that" and stopped going. Some years later a friend invited me out to a nightclub, and I noticed that they were letting everyone in. They were desperate, and my money was now good enough for them. Assholes. This was before 2015 and I haven't been back since. I'd say half of the nightclubs in my city have closed by now.

I think it received alot of "incel" after the incel subs were banned / censored. I also agree that it's pretty toxic. I noticed an improvement in mental health once I began avoiding that place. This sub is more positive and mature, and I hope it stays that way.

I found it helpful to identify the specific group that's grinding your gears. It's a loud minority of privileged women ("feminists") who are hating on men. I find most women reasonable when it comes to day-to-day interaction. Direct your anger against the elite as they're the ones controlling mass media.

I'm a poker player and use Expected Value (EV) to help make decisions. The higher the EV, the more risk you should take. There's even a formula, the Kelly Criterion, that can be used to calculate the exact risk lol. Funnily enough when EV is below zero, the Kelly Criterion says to bet $0. I.e. walk away.

How bad is this addiction? I only consider it destructive if you're skipping work or starving yourself or spending thousands of dollars on porn. Masturbating daily is normal imo.
