I think most women undergo these hardships on a daily basis, and turn to feminism as a way of rectifying that. I think their mistake is turning to feminism; I find modern feminism to be disingenuous; I feel it pretends to support equality, while actually fighting only for women's rights, and often ignoring or even suppressing men's rights. 1	An experience that helped me gain sympathy for feminists I guess what struck me is that these are "minor experiences" relative some of the issues that men (and women) face, but they are so ubiquitous that they add up. In addition, I would actually question how "minor" these experiences are. Without me there, my friend would have felt unsafe. Feeling unsafe on a busy street is NOT a minor experience, in my opinion.
