I made a move and exposed myself to rejection. In general I have a simple policy of never making the first move and it works, this girl was difficult so I had to try something else...I couldn't fathom not having a 100% success rate (I know its an ego thing and sounds stupid).

I didn't read anything you wrote except the title. If it "seems to be good to be true" you are in the wrong state of mind and will hurt your odds. Re-frame your mind and know that she is flirting with you and obviously attracted.

just make sure that this is how you actually speak..its what I would say. Also, the ending part is what makes her have to think about what you are thinking (are you judging, are you interested, do you want to find out more?--it gets her inside her head). Also, it gives you an out.

I showed vulnerability for the first time yesterday and it was the fastest close I have ever had. Very strange that you are getting the opposite effect.

Game is not inherently dishonest. You can be honest with women about your sexuality and sexual desires...if you aren't being open about it with them then you are already being dishonest. When you approach a woman and say "Hi, I think you are cute/beautiful/whatever" you are being open about your desire for her. Sure, game says this establishes that you have balls and don't care if she rejects you but you are being honest in your desire.

I read a portion of No More Mr. Nice Guy (to start with), I read the sidebar posts and then searched for specific things that were holding me up, and then read the game [hated it], and models [not done yet but love this as well].

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
