I don’t see many non high maintanence women. I also take care of myself and most women who do as well also end up being high maintanence. Men also are allowed to care about attractiveness and I know most women want a man who heavily desires them I’d love to find a non high maintanence woman who was more into physical fitness/health and didn’t really care for all the other stuff you mentioned. Not many exist

Are a lot of women up for an actual partnership? Doesn’t really seem like it to me

What source says drinking is way down for men comparatively? And if that is true, great for the men honestly. The real question that needs answered is why are young women engaging in unhealthy drinking habits more than men?

hey, don't disrespect stardew valley like that that's one of the greatest game ever made
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/25 08:51 PM

I’m not exactly sure but why is it bad that men do a very unhealthy activity (binge drinking) less? This should be celebrated. Your source is a health warning to women actually

It doesn’t prove who goes out more. People drink alone or at home

peer pressure: threat is bullying/isolation Social isolation is not a threat. Wanting something good for yourself isn't an external pressure, it's an internal desire. There is external pressure from women to have success romantically with other women in order to complete my internal desire. And you act as if women are fully passive participants in this process. The vast majority of men and women desire romantic partners, and they both have requirements, preferences, and standards. An extraordina…

You cannot be externally pressured into doing something you don't want to do unless there is a threat you desire to avoid. This statement is so inaccurate that I'm not even sure what to say. External pressures from society can absolutely influence people on all sorts of different things, like the job they have, the friends they keepy, their choice of romantic partner, the clothes they wear. Like what??? What about peer pressure to drink or do drugs as a younger person? There is no direct threat …

Women do not want to be pursued by any men, just the ones they are interested in. That's the whole issue behind men being resentful towards women for rejecting them- women aren't interested in their pursuits. Yes, but ultimately women still want to be pursed. And men cannot know before they try if the women is interested. So, the men must risk rejection. This is how heterosexual romantic interactions work. Were you born on Mars or something? That pressure to be accepted by women is an internal d…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/25 03:59 AM
3

Well you’re wrong in many different ways. First women do want to be pursued by men, so that’s your first issue. Second, women heavily prefer men with sexual and romantic experience so there is immense pressure on men to have success romantically with other women or else they’ll be considered weird. Think of the top insults by women for men, incel, virgin. They directly are about sexual inexperience.

What is much much more like is that he is ugly to straight women but not to gay men because straight women have significantly higher looks standards than gay men. Which is what I’ve been saying this whole time…….
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 07:03 PM
2

That’s fine if gay men love aesthetics, but now you’re dodging because you know this isn’t what we’re talking about. We’re talking about who they going to fuck and date. Gay men have lower standards and will fuck and date people they may not say is super aesthetic. Gay men have significantly lower standards for dating and fucking than straight woman. This is like one of the most obvious thing to ever know in the real world. I get hit on significantly more by gay men than straight women, and gay …
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 06:56 PM

Men’s higher test leads to the promiscuity and lower looks standards. This is very basic stuff. And even if it’s stratified at least gay men can easily date their looksmatch then. Women want above their looksmatch if they are average. This isn’t helping your case sorry
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 06:45 PM

No the looks standards are just significantly reduced when dealing with gay men than straight women. That’s why a guy gets more play on gay hinge (not Grindr) than straight hinge. This is like so obvious lol
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 06:22 PM

This is extremely delusional. Guys can just change their dating app profile to looking for men and will get significantly more matches.

I agree with what you said in your first few paragraphs regarding higher risks+financial incentive being less important. However in the last paragraph, I’m not sure what you mean by men vetting more. If we were to get more we’d get even less romantic opportunities. The answer is that there really is no answer. Developed societies where women get educated and work at similar rates to men just end up with a lot of single people because too many men don’t end up making the cut or marriage/kids is d…

Yeah I think it’s lighting/perspective/pose in this case. I’m real life I think the person on the right would be considered as well as the left
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/25 01:25 AM

Given that he’s the same height it’s likely the right would do better in person. The picture and pose are different on the right. It’s not the exact same picture to compare
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/25 01:21 AM
2

Sadly that’s sort of the issue. There’s a huge desire gap among men and women. Men desire many more women than women desire men. So for many women, they don’t actually desire a man at their level in terms of looks, personality, finances, status, etc. That’s the primary reason we are in the mess we are in. Now I wouldn’t say women have to go for men they don’t desire, it should just be more recognised by everyone how dating actually works and then understanding can be gained why many men complain …

/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/25 07:51 PM

No issue with having any sort of standard you want. But once you do that you invite possible criticism to your standards, especially if you simultaneously complain there are no “good men” and “the bar is so low.” For example, let’s say there was a guy who said he’d only date a woman if she’s been in a sports illustrated swimsuit edition. And he also said there were no good woman anymore, and that modern woman weren’t good enough for him. Would you say “you go king!” and not criticise him at all …

There is a side here. It’s an aitah post, so whether or not the is an asshole. And she supposedly likes her but you’re missing the piece where she is not telling him she is manipulating him psychologically so that she does behaviours she prefers. This should be an easy asshole call but women will do anything to not call out other women.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/25 10:33 PM
1

That’s her biased view of the situation and really she is just manipulating him. Running a bad psychological experiment on her budding romantic partner isn’t the best idea and honestly she just communicate her issues better. But you’re a woman so i get why’d you’d take the woman’s side

The bar for men is insanely high for men and insanely low for women in romance
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/25 09:57 PM

That’s kinda burying the lede right? I mean if you categorise meaningless relationships and unwanted unsatisfying sex with like 80%+ of the male population then at a certain point the questions becomes your standards not the men

One reason the friendzone issue comes up more with a man having unrequited feelings for the woman he is friends with is because women don’t confess their feelings a lot of the time. They are willing to keep feelings quiet for the friendship and the man can safely ignore hints. I’ve had multiple friendships with woman where the woman was romantically interested and I knew. I just ignored all hints. I didn’t “miss any hints.” The friendship kept on as normal. Idk if their mental state was affected…

Yeah it’s funny how what blue pillers usually turns into a self own
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 05:22 PM

Nah women love plausible deniability so that if the man doesn’t like her, it can be silently rejected and ignored. Women tend to be against conflict, including social conflict more than men. They prefer social harmony The hints are made specifically so they can be misinterpreted as platonic and the women can save face through that.

Your study includes relationships that could have started in 2015 before OLD became too ubiquitous. It's not relevant to what I'm talking about. I care about relationships beginning in 2025 and how are they started?

i think they're saying male and female singlehood are completely different
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 07:16 AM

The funniest take is when women say OLD is bad for them because even though they get so many matches, they're all shit because all men are bad right? But somehow the few matches men get are these beautiful princess boss babes. Low key misandrist vibes
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 11:15 PM

Who are these people? Are they an influencer couple
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 10:13 PM

The whole “men are going to college less so therefore women are doing better” misses some key points. Men are more likely going into trades/construction that don’t require a degree and can make good salaries. Women choose degrees with a much lower earning potential at a higher rate than men. So men pick degrees that make more usually (stem is one). The issue is much more complicated.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 09:28 PM

I mean couldn’t a blue piller just jump in and say “it doesn’t matter if you’re funny/emotionally available/kind” or whatever blue pill bullshit is popular that day
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 06:20 PM

Wait you have a gf now? I thought you were single
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 11:27 PM

Most of the people commenting sound insufferable to be around lol And this is the dating pool for guys these days 🤮🤮🤮
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 11:16 PM

This place has seriously gotten a lot more boring. If there’s one good thing about the inkwells, at least they’re funny. Blue pillers are so unfunny
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 10:33 PM
1

Yes I am close with a few. But there are no current quality looking single women that they know of that would be good fits for me. Quality single women who are seriously looking for a relationship are a hot and rare commodity. They don’t stay single fast. For the other guys, I play with them but I’m not close enough to directly ask that sort of question about known women. That would be awkward and honestly reek of desperation lol. And every women at the gym has headphones on lol
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 07:12 PM
1

My hobbies and sports I play at male dominated. Meeting random women at pubs is essentially the same as apps. And women don’t like to be hit on at the gym/grocery store. Apps are everything there is for assured ways to meet women if you have male dominated hobbies
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 06:32 PM
2

They suck but there is no other option to meet women.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 05:55 PM

Was having what I thought was a good conversation on hinge with some girl and she hit me with “whats a smart guy like you doing on hinge?” and then unmatched me before i could come up with a response. Do women expect men on apps to be dumb? Why be on them if that’s the case lol
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 05:39 PM
-1

Clearly women don’t understand Jack shit about the male experience either lol
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 08:44 AM
3

That isn’t misandry at all
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 08:08 AM
3

Yes this is correct. Since so many women start later many don’t have as many kids as they may have liked to. Or would have had in the pat when they probably start earlier
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 01:19 AM
2

But if having a college degree is a bare minimum for a lot of women, that instantly destroys the credibility of “the bar is on the floor argument” because the majority of people and men do not have a college degree. The bar is most definitely not on the floor.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 11:41 PM

Other than abortion they could be liberal. The last two you said are more personal preferences, nothing to do with politics. I think you’re just blinded by the idea that liberal men do struggle because in your mind liberal=good so good men should do well. Life doesn’t work like that. And I’m a liberal guy and I would know. I struggle a ton
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 11:28 PM

Wait what are you basing liberal men rarely struggling to date? Incels lean liberal themselves. That is a crazy take lol
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 11:12 PM

lol I saw this pretty upvoted post on twox saying “I keep telling men who struggle at dating to become liberal, women are throwing themselves at liberal men.” Like how can you be that obviously wrong. That is trump tariffs level of willful ignorance/delusion/stupidity.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 10:08 PM

No usually it’s just off campus, I didn’t really go to many parties though
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 06:57 PM

The college I went to and the friends colleges I went to. I mean there is someone there usually covering doors, but they just let women through the vast majority of the time, unless there is some occupancy issue. It is mostly to keep out guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 06:00 PM

Woman can to any party they want in college and will get in no questions asked. If they choose not to is their choice. Men don’t have that same option, but the men who do (like ones in frats) are much more likely to take that option to meet whatever women are there
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 05:41 PM

I mean you’re a woman. That’s different
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 05:35 PM

I don’t get the point of blue pill then. Ultimately blue pill doesn’t even disagree with red pill, all it states is “red pill isn’t sufficiently proven.” If it disagreed with red pill it would require an alternate view to actually create the disagreement. As it stands it’s just neutral
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 05:28 PM

One thing I’ve noticed about these sorts of blue pill vs red pill gender debates is that everything revolves around whether or not the red pill is right. The blue pill is just a rejection of red pill, but blue doesn’t offer anything in return as an explanation for current gender dynamics. It’s just saying “no” to red pill. Which ultimately makes it tough to contend with because it doesn’t say anything which makes it useless
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 04:41 PM
3

I’m not sure what narrative you’re talking about
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 08:05 PM
7

Bro some of these blue pulled women talking about their bf’s is hilarious. I’d hate to be that bf for sure. It’s like my bf is shorter than me, not muscular at all, makes less than me, has a smaller dick than all of the other guys I’ve dated. But he’s so kind, emotionally available, and treats me right unlike all those other guys. I’m just like I hope to never be that guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 07:33 PM
2

I think it’s more because therapists, especially women therapists have heavy anti male bias a lot of the time. And don’t know how to deal with issues affecting men or how to solve them
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/25 09:23 PM
3

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/25 09:10 PM
4

Ok, based on what you're saying here, can you admit dating is significantly harder for men than it is for women?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/25 09:10 PM
1

But you're still missing my point. If a straight women goes on a dating app which is completely filled with men and her experience ends up similar to a straight man swiping on grindr (who will obviously want none of them), then at what point is it on the woman having ridiculously high standards?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/25 09:03 PM
4

The "men should just go on grindr if they want sexual validation" argument from women is a huge self-own. If women actually believe that a straight man getting validation from gay men is equivalent to straight women getting validation from straight men, then that gives all the credence needed to the ridiculous standards argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/25 08:52 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/25 10:13 PM

Who said I had no critique of Elon musk? That is a wildly incorrect assumption lmao. I have a large amount of criticism of Elon’s political actions and actions within the current administration. It just wasn’t the focus of the comment. I just am not going to root for the company to fail, especially since I have lots of personal investment in the company through index funds and also consider it an important company in the ongoing fight against dirty sources of energy. Tesla is a massively positiv…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/25 08:06 PM

It’s kinda weird to deride joy from a company failing. It’s not like Elon is super involved with Tesla at this point. You’re essentially rooting for the failure of an organisation that employs tens of thousands of people, including many Americans Edit: many Americans are also invested in Tesla through owning shares, through index funds, 401k, pensions. Just an overall bad take from walz

It’s interesting in the circles I run in IRL, I’ve never seen a woman study single and swear off men. Every single one is either in a relationship or looking for a relationship. Now most find men really easily, so they’re not desparate, it’s just very woman I’ve met has put men as an important part of their life. So it’s definitely weird to come on here and see all these people saying that tons of women are just choosing to stay single. Personally never seen it

Humanity is inevitably cooked right? Because increased education and employment of women leads to lower than replacement level birth rates? And since the vast majority of humanity is heading that way, humanity will decrease jn pop and eventually die out. Just enjoy life and maximize hedonism at this point. Humanity is over.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 05:20 PM

Yeah women’s spaces/women centered hang outs seem awful to me from the outside. There’s a reason the stereotype/joke exists of the guy trying to find a way out whenever a girls night is happening.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 12:54 AM

Yes absolutely. The romantic standards are ludicrously higher for a dude especially when it comes to non looks related stuff
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 09:57 PM

I definitely feel the first paragraph. Why even try to get a girlfriend when the vast majority of women expect an idealised Prince Charming from the get go
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 09:44 PM
2

Yeah I said they should leave if they feel marriage is not going to happen. I don’t have sympathy for a woman who stayed for ten years with no marriage in sight while also wanting it. Especially when the dating market is so advantaged for women, she can find guys very easily who want to marry her.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 05:54 PM
1

But a man proposing being “accepted pretty much anywhere” doesn’t apply to individual cases which are going to be over represented jn a place like the sub you linked. I’m a situation like theirs they need to actually communicate and if necessary make that step themselves. They can’t hide behind “gender expectations” when it’s convenient for them. They should try to “women up.”
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 05:47 PM
2

This is on the women and shows the passivity in romance women so commonly show and men complain about. If it’s so important to them, then the woman should propose. If he says no, she can leave if it’s a dealbreaker. There problem solved. It’s not men’s fault that marriage isn’t as important to them anymore. It’s a preference
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 05:35 PM

One of those comments is so dumb about conservative men preferring liberal women. Thats bullshit, conservative men want conservative women they are just rarer, so some conservative men end up having to go out with liberal women.

Problem with dating apps for guys is that there are fewer women on them+the women that stay on them for a while are most likely gonna be bad news. Since there are so many more men, you gotta ask yourself the question, why has this women not found a guy yet? On the guys side, being on it for a long time makes more sense since it is so competitive

I guess I missed that first comment saying outside of dating. Though I’m not sure why you exclude dating/romance since it’s such a big part of human nature. Without dating it’s still easier for men though, because then women lose their best argument for having it harder, pregnancy.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 06:16 PM
2

That can’t really be objectively proven, though neither can your assertion regarding it being easier for women. But somethings to look at would be male suicide rates, men falling behind in academics (schools are not designed well for young men), men getting harsher sentencing for similar crimes, higher expectations in romantic courtship, expectations to not be emotional and man up, expectations to be a breadwinner and provide, male homelessness rates compared to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 06:23 AM
2

That's delusional. The woman in your case will have a much easier chance at a decent life, though the man has the better chance for an extraordinary good life. Women have a much higher "floor" in life, while men have a higher "ceiling."

Social media also encourages snap judgments and superficiality. And you agree the majority of people meet online. So, the fact is online dating leads to a lot of experiences for men with women and it’s a substantial percentage of how people are meeting. That’s what this was originally about. You made some dumb comment about treating a women as only a sex object when in reality men just have a lot of shit experiences with women that lead to them the belief that they wouldn’t want to pursue woman …
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/25 10:56 PM

You sound like an NPC that can’t put together an original thought lmao. Your answer doesn’t even have to do with my origins looking, fails to understand that IRL isn’t even much different from an app, and also fails to account for the fact that the majority of dates begin through online dating now.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/25 10:46 PM

You have no idea what you’re talking about. Making a male profile on a dating app and trying to date women would easily show you why a lot of men feel this way. It has nothing to do with influencers.

Definitely possible my face is that bad. From my mind it seems at least average, but I’m not a straight woman so it’s hard for me to gauge this. Normally I’m good at noticing if a guy is really attractive or really ugly but the faces that land in that middle range I struggle to rate. It’s also my face so there’s bias there. I also think you’re massively underestimating the difficulty of dating for men and the desirability of the girl you linked. She’s very pretty and has a “girl next door” look …
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 10:12 PM

White, tall, lanky body type but relatively athletic looking. Last date I went on the girl guessed that I swam, so take that as you will. Facially, long thin face, blue eyes, decent cheekbones/jawline, but my chin is weak I think (I think my side profile looks bad), minor receding hairline (I’m on meds for it so it’s halted) but most normal people wouldn’t look at me and I’m balding. It’s tough for me to accurately give myself a face rating though

Sure but blue pillers understate the social consequences of repeated shots taken, especially if it’s in a warm social circle. Shooting your shot with a friend or acquaintance will change the relationship forever, either if you’re rejected or not. And repeated times doing that will brand you as “that guy.” Nobody wants to be “that guy.” Also, most guys rejected all the time, so it’s gonna take a lot of reps doing this and lots of weird relationships. Then you have apps, bars, and true cold approa…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 08:55 PM
2

I mean that’s another aspect to it as well. Many struggling men are too passive and don’t know when it’s turned green, but women don’t have any easy tells as a group where you can know for sure. Women are all different, right? It always will involve some level of risk, and boundary pushing for the man.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 08:42 PM
2

Think about it from a woman’s perspective. They want greens to be respectful, assertive, and then commit to them while being a good husband. That’s the ideal for a woman, right? Find a very physically attractive, green man who commits and is a good husband. They don’t want green men who are players, so they tell these men what they want them to do. That’s what the dating advice is centered around. It’s logical. But it misses that there really aren’t that many green men around, so in reality most…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 08:15 PM
3

See that’s where we break. In reality I think women’s dating advice for men centers around telling green guys how to form a relationship with them and stay green from there (think of stuff like household chores, that’s telling a green guy how to keep the relationship happy, stay green). Women are notoriously bad at giving advice on the early dating stage, which is predominantly about how yellow guys become green. A man going from yellow to green forms the backbone of human romantic relationships…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 08:05 PM
4

The problem is that women should really be giving dating advice for guys in the context of a guy they are sorta interested in. For example if we say they put dudes into three groups, red is a no, yellow is a maybe, and green is a yes full blown yes, then dating advice should obviously be centered around the yellow, right? Isn’t that sorta obvious? Why would the guys in the green need any help. They can do anything and it doesn’t matter. This is something I think women fundamentally misunderstand…

Both are pump and dumping, there is a third option though where the women does not communicate her desires for a relationship, which, with women, is probably the most common.

5

lol just disregarding my example because it hurts your argument

Pump and dump doesn’t imply deception in anyway. Just because the women wants more doesn’t mean she will get it
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 12:22 AM

Then that women shouldn’t complain if a man prioritizes himself over her. For example if she gets pumped and dumped, the man was just prioritizing himself. No need to feel anything for the women

It’s kinda that weird men’s emotions are just completely disregarded when it comes to dating. Every woman I have talked to in real life has said they do not like to approach men or ask them out because they are scared, or think they would seem desperate, or wouldn’t be sure if the guy is into them if they were the forward one. But are they completely unaware that this also could apply to men? Do women think we are a complete different spieces? I find most women very odd in this regard. I’m not s…

/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 06:38 PM

But why not continue the ghost then if she’s not interested? She’s shown she’s willing to just not text me to show lack of interest. I’m probably not gonna pursue because I hate the games but I just fundamentally misunderstand how this process works. I feel like I’m missing something in my makeup regarding the human courtship process. This type of stuff happens so often
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 06:33 PM

I’d normally agree but an extremely quick “panic” text that some here are calling it does indicate interest to me. But I’m an expert obviously
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 06:08 PM

Assuming she actually does have interest in me, I don’t really get how you could forgot that. Like wouldn’t it kinda eat at you that you are ghosting (in the guy’s mind) a possible romantic prospect that you truly do have interest in? That would be on my mind until I dealt with the issue. If him double texting is causing you to want to panic text back, I don’t understand how would just completely forget the left hanging text. My brain just can’t comprehend that thought process. Maybe it’s becaus…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 06:03 PM

It’s not gonna work out for her lol, because I doubt I will go out with her again. The text I just sent was more of a text to possibly get feedback/I don’t like being left hanging like that, it’s cathartic for me to send out a “Why the ghost text” I fully expected to get nothing and assumed it was over and this strategy doesn’t really endear me to her. I’ll likely break it off anyway
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 05:56 PM

What’s the point of waiting for me to text twice? Is it a game that she thinks will get me to like her more?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 05:52 PM

Can some women explain this to me? I don’t speak women I go on a date with a girl, seemingly goes well, both say we’d be interested in talking/meeting again. I text a pretty normal after date text like “had a good time, would love to see again.” Get nothing back for like 4 days, then I send a message, saying “why stop contact? Thought we had a good time.” Then I instantly within like a minute get a text back saying sorry I’ve been busy would love to meet again… Like if you were able to send that…

Liberal women are much more attractive than conservative women for a few reasons. They skew younger. They skew unmarried and single, less likely to have let themselves go. They are less likely to have children, which changes a woman’s body, generally for the negative from an attractiveness standpoint.

I’m referring to the USA, not any other countries. And I’d need more direct evidence on the difference in pay, and on resumes being taken more seriously. Because there are definitely companies that would rather hire or promote a women for diversity purposes. The wage gap argument is also fraught with misinterpretation and deception on what it actually means. And again society was built by men for a small number of men, and it has radically changed in many ways over the course of centuries. That …

That there are more powerful men than women in the world doesn’t matter for the vast majority who have none of it. The “patriarchy” as it pertains to the USA is really just a small few men who hold most of the power in the USA, and that is changing too.

This is still burying the lead. The point is that since so many men are automatically excluded from the pool due to it, in reality, it needs to be at the forefront of discussions. Emotional intelligence/respect are basically irrelevant compared to it yet they take so much oxygen in the discuss among women o men what they want? Why is this? The logic doesn’t follow
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 07:59 PM
7

As you said men will settle on a lower looks level if they have some attraction to them. Generally that means a pleasant looking non fat girl is enough. Most guys would be fine with that looks level.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 06:18 PM
5

Couple things. Men are attracted to a lot more women than vice versa, so the physical attraction exclusion isn’t as high. It’s quite stark for women when the vast majority are auto rejected from the dating pool for many women. And 2. I do believe men are a lot more frank about their interest relies on physical attractiveness. So, yeah I do think are pretty open about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 06:05 PM
12

One thing from women that grinds my gears is when they tell us “of course, we need to be physically attracted to the guy, that should be obvious,” when they say things they want in a guy (emotional intelligence/respect/stability) and exclude physical attractiveness. The issue is when the unstated, obvious physical attraction that is needed excludes like 80%+ of guys and is a lot of the based on unchangeable, genetic traits, it feels like burying the lead and deception.

But the thing they don’t necessarily get a rise out of people. If the person receiving the insult has a big dick, why would they care? All it does it just piss off people reading the comment or hearing the insult that actually do have a small penis and are seeing that trait being ridiculed and assumed to be associated with negative behaviour. It legitimately doesn’t do what the person insulting wants it do most of the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 08:43 PM

Small penis jokes are pretty bad insults and always have been. The guy you’re insulting probably doesn’t even have a small penis, so it doesn’t even work. You haven’t seen his penis and it’s probably just average like most guys. Most penises are clustered around an average range. It normalizes shaming a person based purely on an immutable and genetic body trait. And also assigns a negative morality to this trait.

I never give compliments to strangers and don’t really like nor care to receive compliments from strangers, even attractive women. It’s just irrelevant to me. I’ve gotten lots of compliments before, even from women, and realize most of them don’t really mean anything. It’s mostly just a passing thought they had and doesn’t mean much more than that.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 05:27 PM

I mean he’s just probably an attractive guy playing the field and trying to fuck a ton of women even incompatible ones. It’s uncommon but it still happens. Women think they’re more common than they are because you inevitably run into them more often in romantic interactions.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/24 02:06 AM
1

Yeah I mean realistically that’s doable for even an average guy mass swiping on everyone and agreeing to dates with anyone that agrees (obese, drugs, mental illness, single mother). The dates are gonna be absolutely horrible though.

Lucky
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/24 01:47 AM

That’s well above average, but also sounds like the guy tries really hard too and is probably looking for mostly casual. Even a true Chad would have to work to get those kinda numbers. I’d suspect he’s also going on dates with people below his league and also not compatible. It’s not realistic to get those kinda numbers and be searching for good long term matches.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/24 01:44 AM

I like the proportions of tall skinny girls with long legs, maybe it doesn’t come through in pics the best but IRL, so hot. Petite thicker women with nice bodies look better in pics I feel like, whereas IRL the taller, leaner girls are hotter

Yes, but also good hair, eyes, and facial harmony. Also cute smile. She’s really well above average now that I think about it. Can’t really tell about her body but it doesn’t look too good other than being thin. Seems like she doesn’t really have big breasts, but being thin and having decent skin really goes a long way, especially in the USA.

Why would any person not be afraid of unrequited romantic feelings? Seems quite natural
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/24 03:23 AM

I don’t understand. Many men will say they “got friendzoned” and then remove themselves from the relationship or decide that being friendzoned is ok because they like the platonic relationship enough. I don’t see how your comments shows why the concept doesn’t make sense.

One thing I will never understand is that I have deleted and redownloaded dating apps many times throughout my life, and I have women that have matched with me multiple times throughout that time on different apps. But some of these women have never said anything once to me. I have one women who has matched with me five times on hinge/bumble over the course of three years, I have sent an opener every time and nothing lol, Like what goes through the minds of these people. I get it happening once …

Because you are burying the lede here. In reality, a “good personality” for dating requires a set of specific hyper masculine, characteristics, assertiveness, dominance, confidence etc. that most people don’t have and hardly has anything to do with being “good” under any definition of the word. And the personality requirements for women are vastly less restrictive , which along with looks discrepancy, leads to a super imbalanced dating market, as I said a joke for men. A good personality is almo…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 11:19 PM

Of course it’s happened. But at least you’re admitting why dating is a joke for men these days. I can accept that
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 11:07 PM
7

No it’s not just useless, it’s actually actively negative to your dating prospects. Listening to women talk about dating is one of the most destructive things a man can do for his success
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 11:03 PM
4

You’re actually admitting why dating is a joke nowadays. this is actually good to hear from a woman’s mouth. The vast majority of romantic interactions that occur in modern times is based on looks first. You’d just never be in a position to learn about this guys personality, it would take too much lucky circumstance. You can cling to this idea that you’d definitely consider him if you liked his personality!!! But the reality is that you just wouldn’t date.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 10:44 PM
2

You wouldn’t match with him on a dating app or talk to him at a bar/club

/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 06:54 PM

I do agree that overall its best for both genders to be in a relationship for happiness on average. But being single is a lot better for women than men. Most men gain a lot for being in a monogamous relationship. The top men don’t necessarily though.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 06:52 PM
2

None of that is real
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 06:40 PM
5

Saying women do better single isn’t really the gotcha you think it is when modern single life is just designed to be better for women. Women can enjoy their independence and then when they want get their casual sexual needs met by very attractive men. They also have better support systems, and their emotional and mental struggles are taken more seriously. The key to a good single life is just “be a woman.”
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 06:11 PM
3

So he has a celebrity halo effect going on then. That last girl saying “idk who you are” tells me it was obvious he was someone, the girl noticed that he was probably someone well known If we just a random guy looking like him that walked into club, that wouldn’t happen. Not saying he it’s ugly or anything, he is good looking, but there’s more than looks causing this interaction.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 07:08 PM
3

Horrible dating market for men, high expectations from women they themselves do not fulfill, low effort from women in dating, normalized misandry Bad American work culture obsessed with profits over everything at the expense of employee well-being, high cost of living and cost of education and cost of healthcare leading to high debt levels assumed by these young people
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 06:54 PM
2

Youre an exception then
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 06:49 PM
3

Relationships, work, culture
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 06:37 PM

That’s not how it works anymore. The internet culture is mainstream. You can have a social life and be meeting lots of people and still be a doomer.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 06:37 PM
13

I think women underestimate the level of doom felt by younger modern men in this generation. Women and men friendships aren’t as frequent anymore and also men aren’t going to be willing to open up as much with women. So women see it in the internet and freak out and say the men I know in real life aren’t like that. They are like that. They’re just not sharing it with you
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 06:30 PM

I am projecting, not inaccurately though.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 01:19 AM

Just being real
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 01:04 AM

Meeting your own standards isn’t really relevant. It’s about what yo can attract and you obviously can’t attract what you want. Think about your desire for a 40-50 year old man who is monogamous and has no kids. What has that guy been doing for thirty years? Why did he not have kids before if he was monogamous? It’s much more likely someone who is monogamous and has no kids at your age will fit your subjective definition of unattractive or weird because it’s clear they were unwanted for so long.…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 01:02 AM
2

You probably just have a lucky group then
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 12:58 AM
3

You’re going to be worthy of a beta bux relationship where you pay for everything and the woman doesn’t respect you at all. Have fun!
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 12:46 AM
2

I mean that could depend on the types of women. Twenties women have it especially easy so they don’t have much to complain about but 30s single women definitely complain a lot because of the biological pressures.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 12:41 AM
5

Your standards are too high. No kids while being monogamous at 40-50 is hard to find. Also weird is doing a lot of heavy lifting for you as it’s so subjective, you can have it mean whatever you want at any point. The others are fair, but the ones I mentioned will make it difficult for you
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 12:22 AM
1

On Reddit maybe, women don’t complain as much on the internet (though that is changing) but in society, women complain to their friends, family, therapists, etc. just as much as men do
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 12:17 AM
2

Yeah I’d probably add that but either way I’d still take the first room
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 10:34 PM
3

The second has a bunch of extra unneeded stuff everywhere which clutters up the room. The first is much spacier, I prefer that.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 10:20 PM
3

It doesn’t look dirty at all to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 10:13 PM
4

Is this a self own? The first room you linked looks way better lol
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 10:10 PM
2

Yeah when I talk to people about the stuff they usually say it will get better and im like no this is gonna get much much worse
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 09:22 PM
2

I honestly don’t even care that much myself that I will never find a partner, but I feel bad for my mother. She still holds out hope and will try to give me advice sometimes. It will ultimately crush her once she finally realizes it will ever happen
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 08:59 PM
2

No. I Just hate the process in general. I have liked some of the girls I’ve dated, I just usually get rejected
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 08:12 PM
3

It’s funny that the only person in real life I heard say this was a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 07:48 PM
3

Either way it sucks
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 07:47 PM
7

If I don’t put the mask on, I would never get a date again
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 07:23 PM
3

What’s funny is for the vast majority of dates I’ve been on I’ve put in significantly more effort than the woman. I pick a place that is closer to her place, I usually show up a little early to get a feel for the venue (most of the women show up 5-10 minutes late despite being closer), i’m usually dressed and groomed better. I pay every time. I drive the conversation topics. Sometimes I drive the girl home if she ubered or walked. And yet I’m the lazy one lol
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 07:19 PM
3

That just shows how much easier women have it, they just have to show up, be reasonably well groomed and have basic communication skills
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 07:06 PM
2

At a certain point it becomes too exhausting and you fail too much where the negatives outweigh the positives.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 07:01 PM
3

No I despise all of this. It’s exhausting for me. I am a heavily introverted person and also naturally passive though. I fake like I like it though. Don’t be surprised if many of the guys were doing that too.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 06:55 PM
4

It’s a lot more complicated than asking and planning (even though that is work especially in urban areas where transportation will be a mess).
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 06:51 PM
3

I have done both many times and gaming with the bros is on average a better experience for me. I will usually take the opportunity to go out because going out has a higher ceiling (meeting and actually vibing with a girl) but nights out as a guy don’t usually go like that. Even my good looking and extroverted friends fail most of the time. And it’s more expensive, you don’t sleep as well, there’s downsides
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 06:48 PM
4

You need to approach, lead the conversation, ask for the date, plan the date, lead the conversation during the dates, initiate and escalate all emotional and physical intimacy, pay for dates, and also do all of this at the correct times and without communication (asking to do this stuff is not masculine) and all while avoiding random icks modern women will have (which are really just perceived shortcomings of masculinity). Idk about you but that seems hard to me
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 06:43 PM
3

I’m not sure, I have no requirement for a hyperfeminine woman. So the idea of needing a hyper masculine man is very weird to me. You’d have to ask women why they are so restrictive in tastes. So you’re saying any man who doesn’t adhere to a masculine standard shouldn’t even want to date? And you’re the blue piller? You sound like some conservative traditionalist from the 1950’s lol
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 06:32 PM
6

And that’s why it’s much more difficult to date as a man. I have no requirement for a hyper feminine woman. Women’s tastes are much more restrictive
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 06:29 PM
7

It shouldn’t be exhausting you’re right. But women have such narrow interests in men, that changing your whole personality is sometimes required, most of the time in fact
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 06:25 PM
6

Both existences are kinda sad. And I like to socialize and would love to date. But dating as a man in a socially exhausting process.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 06:23 PM
4

I act like a man by virtue of being a man. Everything I do is acting like a man. I have no interest in engaging in the social expectations associated with being a man unless they fit my natural personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 06:19 PM
4

I have thought about it
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 06:18 PM
5

I’m lost on your point
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 06:12 PM
5

For people that aren’t naturally like that, yes, why wouldnt it be?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 06:05 PM
6

What’s great as a guy about hanging out and gaming with the boys on discord, porn, Reddit, hanging in your moms basement is that the male social expectations are completely gone. Dating as a guy is exhausting process where you are forced by women (at the threat of auto rejection) to engage in ritualized hyper masculine, extroverted, assertive behaviours that may not fit into your own personality. The other stuff I mentioned at the top are where you just get to chill. Women in the dating process …
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 06:02 PM
2

lol not gonna work since I’m way over 6 feet, imma be a scary ass woman
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 06:23 PM

Much better than being a man
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 05:57 PM

It would be so awesome to be a woman in a modern, developed country. I think that is peak humanity
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 05:53 PM

The red pill talks about how to get hotter, richer and more likable. Mainstream dating advice is dumb shit like “respect women” lol

/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/24 09:40 PM

Harassment
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/24 09:40 PM
0

That’s fair. Most of the guys I know, including myself, would rather not date a virgin but also would not want to date someone super promiscuous. So that tracks with your experience. I am in an urban city and we are all not really religious. So that is part of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/24 07:21 PM
1

I don’t necessarily disagree with you but not sure how that directly relates to my post
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/24 06:42 PM
6

Honestly, blue pill women who come here and brag about their romantic, sexual, and dating experience and look down, insult, and demean the struggling men here are the most pathetic demographic here by far. Way more than the blackpiller, inkwells. Like how pathetic can you really get.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/24 05:46 PM
2

No. You claimed most do it. Don’t backtrack and prove the first claim.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 11:24 PM
3

I don’t need to verify that. They may want it or they may not. You made the claim that “there is no reason to believe they want anything forget than sex.” That means your starting point with men is they only want sex and nothing else. That’s textbook misandry. I’d work on that with a therapist if I were you.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 11:23 PM
3

Youre making the assumption they only want sex. You’ve offered nothing to show that. Your misandry is showing
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 11:12 PM
5

Source for that?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 10:55 PM
7

Both are valid but one is much worse than the other. We can admit men have it worse in romance while still recognising that woman go through struggles as well
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 07:30 PM
1

2021 is still not that current. That’s almost three years ago and the data was collected earlier. And you don’t answer the second part. It’s about relationships that are current but not necessarily new. I don’t care about relationships that started years ago before OLD.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 07:29 PM
1

That data is out of date and includes relationships that existed well before OLD was a thing. That’s not what I said. I said for relationships that are actually beginning now. Not relationships that began in the past but are still current. That massively skews the data. Idc about a 50 year marriage where they started out as friends. That’s irrelevant to modern dating
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 07:25 PM
15

It’s funny when you look at venting about dating, for guys it’s usually like, I haven’t had sex in years, I haven’t had a date in a year and the last date ended up ghosting me. I’m lonely and fear no woman will ever love me. For woman it’s like I’ve been on 20 dates in the past few months, and all the guys just suck. I’ve been pulled and dumped so many times I do what to do. I man will ever love me.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 07:20 PM
3

The blue pill arguments are usually really bad here, so nothing has changed my mind on anything
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 07:16 PM

OLD is where the plurality of relationships begin in modern times. Acting like it doesn’t count is dumb
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 07:14 PM

I don’t understand what you mean
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 07:09 PM
3

Ok if we’re going that route we can just as easily say TRP is not real.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 07:08 PM

How do you know twox is not real? They are real women with real stories to tell.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 07:04 PM
5

I don’t get caring about age at that point. She’s 27, a fully grown women, mid to late twenties to early to mid thirties is perfectly reasonable and also normal in the real world. The average age gap is smaller but you’d have to account for all of the high school and college sweetheart stuff with a zero or nearly zero age gap. Relationships that start later than that are likely gonna be having the man be older than that average gap. Their more established in career, more mature which is attracti…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 07:03 PM

Why? Because I say I’m purple pill, sure I disagree with some red pill stuff like body counts, I’m less casual oriented myself, I’m still feeling from being a blue piller though

I think it’s pretty ridiculous to discount people on twox, the most popular woman based subreddit on Reddit, for reasons I guess??? It makes no sense
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 06:56 PM
3

The wiki on this subreddit literally says the blue pill is “basically disagreeing with TRP” so anti-TRP is blue pill

Wait why would 2x not count?

It wasn’t only matches. It was also dates. And the blue pill argument is that the matches are basically all garbage men who just talk about sex, or are low quality, aren’t attractive. The idea that women can easily just get dates with reasonably attractive, employees dudes who aren’t overly sexual early is DEFINITELY denied by blue pill women.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 06:23 PM

I mean the challenge was dates and he did it easily. There was no age cap and I don’t remember any of the guys being like 50-60 or anything. I’m pretty sure no one was not in their 20’s or 30’s which is fair game imo. And sure some of those dates may have been duds if they actually happened. It’s more just to show ridiculously easy it is to get dates as a woman with decent enough dudes. The argument from men never has been that all of those dates go well, just that volume is so much higher that …
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 06:20 PM

The challenge was to secure a date with seven employed men in a week who were reasonably attractive and did not get immediately sexual on an online dating app while losing as a woman. The woman’s profile was also a little bit above average in attractiveness but not super hot or anything. He did it under 24 hours and had many other possible dates but he stopped.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 06:17 PM

I still think that one post where the guy completed that dating app challenge from the woman on here in under 24 hours completely destroyed the blue pill arguments here forever. Nowadays I just look at blue pill stuff as disingenuous trolling

Most men are paying for dates, you’re completely off on your assessment. These men forcing women to pay for dates and only pumping and dumping are ridiculously rare as to be irrelevant. And that’s the point. Women can get the free meal because they are advantaged in the dating market. Women don’t have to make the man feel happy and desired, because they just need to show up. So most women don’t really work on actually being good at making a man feel happy and desired on a date.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 12:13 AM
1

The problem with your argument is the one in our other comment thread. For these “free daters” which are rare among men, you are getting rid of them, it in exchange you are losing out on potentially good men who want an egalitarian relationship AND actually have the balls to attempt to go through with it on the date, which shows confidence in their ideals. I want an egalitarian relationship but I pay on dates because I believe men are too disadvantaged otherwise. And women might not go on the da…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/24 11:09 PM
2

Exactly, that’s another reason it’s a bad vetting technique. Losing out on potentially good candidates through your technique is also very bad as well. It’s the inverse but it’s something you don’t want as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/24 10:12 PM
1

It legitimately doesn’t though. The vast majority of men know they are supposed to pay and will pay because they know it increases their chance of a second date no matter if they want a serious relationship or to pump and dump. It also doesn’t show financial stability because anyone can just put down a credit card and pay for dinner. Having access to credit is very different from financial stability. It’s just bad vetting for multiple reasons. I tend to believe women just like free stuff and the…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/24 10:11 PM
2

It doesn’t actually mean that though. He could be a great catch who wants a more egalitarian relationship. So you’re telling me the the great catch who wants an egalitarian relationship is a worse catch than the manipulative red piller who wants to pump and dump you and is paying because he knows how the game works? It’s just not a good way to vet. It’s way too easy to fake as a guy. And it’s too well known as a cultural expectation to use it as one.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/24 09:32 PM
2

Ok… so what? You mentioned it as a way to vet. I said it’s weak, now you’re just backing away with “oh, there are others.” Great. I said it’s a bad way to vet, and you don’t really disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/24 09:26 PM
2

I don’t see how the guy paying really stops pumping and dumping. It’s like the most obvious test ever that is ridiculously easy for guys to complete just by paying for the meal. I don’t think it would stop many pump and dumpers. And anyone can put down their credit card to pay for a meal. All it does is show you have access to credit, not that you’re actually financially stable. It’s just lazy vetting because women can’t even be arsed to do the one thing they’re supposed to do in dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/24 09:21 PM
3

Told by who exactly? Because that isn’t really accurate for modern guys in developed countries. Men don’t pay out of some wholesome idea that they want to “provide,” they do it because dating is skewed against them and they have to or the next guy on her list will. It’s a cost of doing business.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/24 09:14 PM
2

I’ve never understood the position women take where they say that they will let a guy pay for the date if they’re interested but offer to split if they’re not. It’s completely backwards from how it would work from my perspective. I’d offer to pay if I was more interested because I’d want to show that im willing to invest in the fledgling relationship. And women recognise this logic, because this is how they judge men. “He’s not interested if he won’t pay.” Why is it the opposite for women?

I tend to think humans kinda suck. We’re basically just a species that has been continually good enough throughout history to survive. Not a ringing endorsement
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/24 07:25 PM

You’re right though the thing is my profile is improved a lot from a year ago and I think my opener now was better than a year ago. It’s possible I just made the cut a year later when I didn’t the first time. Im the same guy but the pictures+profile+opening line were just better so now I get a chance? It’s kinda maddening if you think about it, modern dating is fucking wack If she likes me in person then I think I’m ok to continue though it kinda feels bad
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/24 05:11 AM

In light of that post on if you'd take someone back if they ghosted you, I have a girl i matched with like a year ago. However, she didn't respond ever to a chat I sent like a year ago. Now, I matched with her again, she was responsive this time, and we went on a date and she wants go on another. Is that cuck behavior of me to entertain her after her not ever chatting with her? She may not even remember me from when I matched with her before.

Yes, if I were a girl it’d be ideal. Sadly I’m a man so it comes with some big drawbacks. It’s extremely hard for me to put on muscle and without steroids I will always have a leaner look. Because my maintanence is about 3200-3300 calories. If I were to eat 3200 per day, I’d lose a small amount of weight over time, while at 3300 I’d gain a little. I would honestly be fine if women just admitted they had it easier in dating and relationships than men. I don’t need it to become fair (men have advantages in some things as well). It’s this stupid insistence from women that it has to be equally as bad or even worse for women somehow because women just need to have everything be worse. Then we just get women having to tie themselves in knots arguing that having way more options is somehow really bad lol
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 08:57 PM

It’s more having an understanding of how relationships for high level athletes like that work. NBA players aren’t exactly known for not stepping out on their wives/girlfriends. I feel intimidated lol, since i'm tall sometimes i get a random hot chick who probably digs tall guys. And this chick is tall too.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/24 12:24 AM

But physical attractiveness for men is more than being “pretty.” That’s a very feminine way of looking at it. Men are judged heavily on height and muscles and masculine features that wouldn’t normally be described as “pretty.” Men are in the gym all the time working on their appearance and also working on how to fashion their facial hair (an important secondary sexual characteristic).
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/24 05:14 PM

Yes I believe so. If we all had the sex drive of men, humanity would end up being a chaotic unproductive mess. It would lead to lots of kids with little parental oversight while everyone is just fucking about. The birthing sex having the sex drive of men wouldn’t make sense because we need them to be more discerning in who they have kids with in order for them to want to stay and bond and nurture the child. However, everyone having the drives of women would lead to humanity just going extinct at…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/24 05:07 PM

I think what we should really say is that the average man desires the average women more than the other way around due to differences in sex drive/hormones/etc. That does lead to the appearance that the average women is more attractive, yes, but it is more due to men, not women necessarily being more attractive. If men and women had equivalent sex drives we wouldn’t see this happen.

They both ignore mutual consent. The vast majority of incels are not going out and raping people due to that entitlement. They feel entitled to sexual attention and then become frustrated when that desire is not met. It’s the same for the women. The frustration breeds from those unmet entitlements. The only way to get through is to realize the opposite sex owes you nothing and lower expectations for those needs.

in the context of a romantic relationship, many men don't care to commit to women. Many western men don't care for LTR's and less are enthused with marriage. Read what i wrote, it concerns respectful treatment in a monogamous, committed relationship. Why should women expect to receive that in the modern world? If women can be less traditional, so can men.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 07:06 PM

I’m saying everyone who can mutually provide such respect has a right to it. i still struggle with this, and I think this is where you are a bit off the mark. Imagine an incel who wants to be become more attractive to women. I’ve personally found men more accepting of masculine women than the other way around in my real life. I’ve never seen a women in real life not have an ick romantically for a more feminine man, whereas I know men that are more accepting of alternatives though most still have the feminine preference.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 06:52 PM

So my question is why do so many women despise men acting like women, their own gender, then? At least with men it makes sense because men would prefer men to act like their own gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 06:42 PM
1

There is no right to respectful treatment. Assuming you live in a developed country you have some basic protections against violence, fraud, etc. but saying you’re obligated to be respected is way too far. So saying every women deserves this respectful treatment in a monogamous, committed relationship with a man is entitled and unrealistic. Not enough men can or are willing to give that. And that’s ok

But that is misogyny perpetuated equally by both genders.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 06:23 PM

Whenever I read twox relationship complaint threads, much of the comments will be like “break up with him, he’s not giving you the treatment you deserve,” “you deserve a quality man” How is that not the same as the incels being entitled to sex? Does a woman deserve a relationship with a quality man just for being a woman? Are men obligated to provide that commitment?

/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 04:56 PM

I mean I don’t think the commonly quoted studies do that sorta breakdown. But that’s more of an issue with the studies themselves then. We can’t do much with the info if it’s just general usa. Too many areas have radically different values and dating markets.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 04:49 PM

I think using general usa stats to make points can be less useful depending on your location. Living in certain areas of the usa, most people are coupled young, have children younger, and have body counts of 0-1. That skews the data for these types of discussions, when I have a feeling most of the men angry about the dating scene are in mid to large usa cities in suburban or urban areas.

Well we can see it is on the dating app messaging system, so it’s not just text messages between friends. If it were that would definitely call it into question. And that’s fine that a normal person wouldn’t do this. But, it demonstrates that a woman can do this if she wants. No man other than an extraordinarily attractive one (male model) would be able to do it even while swiping all day and messaging to people every day. We just saw it with a slightly above average women. We’ve heard from wome…

The true value in the experiments is the positive responses, the seven dates he got with relatively attractive men who were a convo, were not creepy, were not instantly sexual. Those were shown to us and not cherry-picked. The point of the experiment was someone saying “do x in seven days” And he showed us doing x in like a tenth of the time. It’s quite possible that he lied about the lack of negative responses he got, but the seven dates he got in under a day is undeniably telling. You absolute…

Online dating for women is just chad chasing. They leave because they get pumped and dumped enough times and get sad about it.

Do women really go there to be met? All I hear is they go to those places to have fun, drink, hang out with friends, and dance. There really isn’t a 100% guaranteed place to meet women they every women will think is good. So cold approaching anywhere but obviously bad places is not such a bad idea. You’ll get rejected but there is good volume.

So then in an OLD profile, how are men supposed to fit the female gaze? That’s why i asked for physical attributes because the profile is basically all physical. It’s possible that OLD just doesn’t work well for women’s attraction but the main points still stand. It’s harder for men to compete online because a profile is usually enough for most men and it’s not for women. That’s why we get really ridiculous findings like this where its shown that online dating is really that easy for women, but …

/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/24 01:51 AM

This thread is great so far and honestly ends ppd for women. Any time a women talks about dating being hard or as bad or worse for men, link them this and end the convo. Remember boys, it really is THAT easy.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 10:57 PM

You’re the one who’s making up definitions of words. If you look up confidence and competence in the dictionary, they have very different definitions. They are not even close to the same at all. You’re the one grasping at straws here
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 07:44 PM
1

That isn’t correct though. Being good at something is performing well. Confidence isn’t relevant to actually productivity and efficiency at something. What if a basketball player plays in an arrogant and confident manner, and shoots a lot, but misses almost every shot? Is he playing well just because he was confident in his play? And you’re not illustrating why confidence itself is attractive. You’re attempting to tie competence and confidence together, when they are very different. Why do you f…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 07:30 PM

The person might just be good at something and you’re projecting what they’re feeling internally as confidence when it may not be. Competence without confidence and competence with confidence can appear exactly the same with lots of different activities.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 06:55 PM
1

But I said I like competency in the things I care about, just like you. What I don’t understand is why confidence is liked. It doesn’t actually tell me anything about the his “competency in what he does and how he acts and how he finds a livelihood.” Confidence is just talk, but does not actually back up any talk with action.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 05:28 PM
2

Interesting that women talk about how much they care about confidence and, for me, it doesn’t really do much for attraction. I wouldn’t want someone with literally no self esteem, but someone who does not shot on themselves and is also a bit humble is duper attractive. Someone who is humble but then shows competence in areas I care about is so attractive to me. Confidence itself doesn’t actually do anything. I prefer when someone shows their ability through action rather than telling me they can…

Because I was so desperate that I ended up going for a physically unattractive person who lacks the ability to stay in shape and have the basic self control to be a healthy weight. It legitimately is not difficult and shows a lack of respect for your yourself, your partner, And the society you live in (accommodations made, and higher health costs we all pay). I’d be embarrassed for my future self if I ended up with a fat woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 10:02 PM

Being fat is by far the most important one. It is embarrassing to have a fat girlfriend even if you are a chubby chaser. Having a racially not they attractive girlfriend they is skinny isn’t really too bad.

That’s ultimately what the argument comes down to. Higher expectations, less desirability, worse treatment as a man versus the dangers of pregnancy and having periods. In the modern developed world with birth control, modern medicine, maternity leave, I’d much rather be a women. The benefits to me clearly outweigh being a man as modern society really benefits being a women.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 12:26 AM

Why should women do those expectations and more? I don’t get it. Why expect more from your partner than yourself? Of course, women are allowed to do whatever they want, but they shouldn’t complain if they struggle to find a man and they engage in these behaviour. And the problem is most men are so horny that they will agree to the expectations women set. That is where it is cursed and unfair to be a man. We ultimately want women too much for our own good. It it is biological and in our DNA so we…

/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 12:09 AM

This is more apex fallacy stuff. Women think a lot more men are capable of doing this than actually happens. The vast majority of men are not bedding women after a first date. This statistically just doesn’t happen much. The vast majority of sex is happening in a committed relationship, with a few men having lots of casual sex with women that want casual.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 11:58 PM

The biggest thing for me is that attractive women are very rarely alone in bars/clubs. They are mostly with at least a few other people mostly women, meaning you have to entertain all of them at once, which is difficult. The classic pick up that happens where some guy just sits down next to this gorgeous women sitting alone at a bar is just so fake and ridiculous I have to laugh when I see it.

Lol of course you don’t think it’s unfair, you’re a women. If you were a man, you’d be thinking much differently. And I don’t necessarily think it can change. But I’d love to have more awareness of both men and women about the differences and inequality among dating between the genders. For example, women are extraordinarily harsh on men who lack experience, but it is the reality that due to the competition in modern dating, many men are just locked out of a shot for years until they develop a s…

Women of fertile age are favored for a few reasons. One, the finite number eggs and smaller fertility window increases women’s mating value as compared to the infinite sperm men have. Two, men are hornier and desire women more, leading to a gap in desire. Essentially, we want more of you than you want of us. It is also true reproduction is costlier for women, so they are pickier with who they mate with. These core differences lead to the types of issues we see today. Younger women of reproductiv…

Sure, they have, and men are now talking about the disadvantages of our toxic gendered dating culture and working to possibly correct it (though I doubt it would ever fully happen). It has definitely lessened in power though it still predominantly exists. If we have an unequal dating culture that favors women, what are men supposed to do other than talk about it and work to change it??
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 11:23 PM

But these women only have casual sex with few attractive men. The benefits of it are not dispersed in anyway to the majority of the male population. So it’s functionally irrelevant to most men.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 11:18 PM

It doesn’t really come out like that though. Women are open to casual sex with a few very attractive men, which leaves most guys without it. More of both genders (but primarily women) are opting out of relationships, for a variety of reasons, leading to many men just without any sort of romantic or sexual intimacy. On net, we’re actually having less sex. Some women who do casual and a minority of men have a bunch of casual, fewer in relationships have consistent sex, and then a lot more have spo…

That’s just your families, anecdotal evidence, which is fine but it doesn’t discount what happening broadly. Most men around here question marriage and some even having children, which is completely counter to the…

Are we talking about the usa? When could women not legally work? The idea that women never worked is primarily an idea concerning the middle/upper classes, while working class women and some middle have undergone paid work throughout us history… the American ideal of the one man with a factory job supporting the whole family was in reality closed off to many families, especially minorities. And most people on this sub barely even talk about past dating markets, it’s mostly modern focused. The id…

So if you do empathize with certain viewpoints, why did you boil it all down in your first comment to just “guys had it easier before and I want it easier now.” And btw it wasn’t even true in the past that men just “existed” and got women. That never happened. The expectations regarding their ability to provide was very high, which not all men had. Your understanding of even past dating dynamics is very simplistic as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 10:30 PM

There’s plenty of good and bad arguments for why dating for a man is uniquely terrible in modern times on this sub. You’re just not at a point where you’re able to empathise with the male perspective. Don’t beat yourself up, the vast majority of women are unable to do it.

Casual sex is doable for a guy like that assuming he goes way below his looksmatch. Partnering is possible depending on a variety of factors like social skills, job, disposable income, social environment, and even sheer dumb luck. For the girl, she just needs to put herself out there a bit (go on a ppd and go to some social events) and have some a basic social skills and she will have access to all sorts of casual relationships with men much above her, and access to relationships a little below …

/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 12:29 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 12:16 AM

About the same for women I’m not attracted to and worse for women I’m attracted to. If I’m attracted to a women, I will try to win her over and that involves better treatment than a man gets. For women im not attracted to, I try very hard to not treat them better than random men.

I think, especially on the internet, there may be a a bit of a circlejerk in regards to standards among the genders that leads to any taking the most extreme stance to fit in and seem “correct” in their gender. Three years ago was the middle of the pandemic, so yes things are different now. Apps are also struggling to maintain users, especially women, so they are worse. It’s not attempting to avoid every person’s pet peeves. There are some who will be icked out by masculine men. It’s rare but it happens. It’s about finding out the personality type that is going to be the best for women in general and applying that to dates. If you don’t do that, you just face too much rejection, especially on apps. You just end up going on a string of failed dates that end due to lack of “spark.” Being “yourself” gets nowhere. Women don’t want “yourself,” they want a specific m…

The issue is dating is so bad for guys right now that you need to maximise your opportunity with each option you get. So men end up needing to change their personality to fit a very specific hyper masculine, arrogant, slightly douchey personality that has the most broad appeal to women to have the best chance of avoiding all the dumb icks. It’s pretty challenging mentally to do that, but most men have to do that to stand a chance.

Feminism is definitely losing credibility in the west. Even liberals I talk to IRL don’t speak of it positively and many girls are turned off by it. It’s contained on the internet and twox type places

/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 06:06 PM

We’re not even necessarily talking about just ugly men. It’s average and even slightly above average men. The fact you jump straight to just ugly illustrates the problem. Women just think a large proportion of men are ugly. Learning to deal with that if you’re in that category is really tough to deal with as a man. A woman unless she is thin but also really unattractive can’t really experience what is like. A far girl can still lose weight

Most men don’t have the options to immediately slot into a new relationship with someone that desires them. It’s a decision average and below men have to make. A decent relationship with a women who has built love for them but doesn’t desire him like her top choices or go back into the hell that is male singleness. It’s not surprising many choose to stay.

And it’s funny because women always hate those types of guys, and yet they pull the most quality women of non celebs/athlete dudes. And it’s not even looks, it’s career oriented, ambitious, pretty, well socialised women that end up with these stereotypical white frat guys…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 05:21 PM

It’s not. Weightlifting in the gym and interest in financial markets are just traditional male pursuits. Men also tend to be more conservative, which you’re seeing. You’re just interacting with normal men. Nothing to do either he red pill.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 11:10 PM

Why can’t you be with a late bloomer?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 09:51 PM

It’s because women care mostly about the best genetics. Genetics don’t need work, you just have them. The idea that you needed to work to become attractive and were therefore a late bloomer is repulsive to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 09:41 PM

20-30 year olds are mostly single, especially et the lower end. Most young men are single, so they’re not even in they relationships. They still have problems just different ones. Late twenties women will start to end up in LTR with thirties men.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 06:46 PM

More 30-40 year old couples. I see it a lot when a women ends up in a relationship in her early thirties and they get married. Im like really that is the guy you ended up picking? Women really do end up lowering their physical standards in their thirties. It’s very obvious to see if you pay attention
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 06:33 PM
2

One of the main issues with modern dating is that in their LTR, men usually will end up with one of the more desirable people they’ve been with while women end up with one of the least desirable. It’s just a consequence of most of those early more casual relationships being more men fuck down and women fuck up. That inherent tension can lead to a lot of problems and insecurity on both sides. What we get is the manifestation of that

/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 08:09 PM

Not exactly. Instagram gives more access so the girl can assess more pictures, who you follow, who follows you, etc. dating app profiles are a joke in comparison. Prompts for example mean absolutely nothing. Second, a guy may slide into a girl’s dm where he has a bit more familiarity. OLD is completely random.

The first chart in the article shows that weekly sex % has gone way down since 1990 which lead to a corresponding increase in monthly % and yearly % sex increase. So it generally does appear that having sex is now harder unless you argue people are now putting less effort into having sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 06:02 PM
1

I dispute that. I had sex like 7 months ago, so I’d answer yes to that, but I am still struggling with romance. Been single my whole life, no dates in months, constant ghosts, flakes. Sex in the past year % doesn’t really=not struggling. Idk if there is a specific statistic that exists to to exactly show that. It’s partially why it’s so controversial
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 05:51 PM
1

What exactly is having had sex in the past year supposed to tell me? That you have a satisfying sex life if you have?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 05:43 PM
1

Not really, men, in general, are struggling with romance. That much is known. But, incels actually tend to lean to the left. So really, both conservative men and liberal men are generally struggling. I'd just say conservative men struggle a bit less on average.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 05:36 PM
4

I definitely think women care less about cheating than men. I've never seen a relationship where the woman cheats, the man found out and it not being a game over for the relationship. But I have seen many women stay. For the other stuff, I don't really agree. Most of the relationships I see, the women is not contributing financially or less.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 05:33 PM
1

That's actual data, which is fair. My issue is the classic case of "watch that they do, not what they say." In the laundry list of standards women have, at a certain point something has got to give if she wants commitment and marriage. I could see politics being one of the early compromises made by women. Also, most women are going to want marriage before family, and conservative men are more likely to believe in that institution. Also, if the guy kinda slow rolls his politics early, the woman m…

It is just traits associated with men who are more liberal. Not all liberal men are like that though. Liberal men are also more egalitarian and progressive, and also more uncomfortable with gender roles in the early dating stages, which even liberal women want to continue (because it's too their advantage). Conservative men either believe in it or don't care and just do it.

Has nothing to do with right wing memes. Hearing that conservative men struggle with dating above and beyond what is normal for men is sort of a revenge talking point you'd hear on twox/feminist subreddits. It's sort of like the wall red pill talking point where men would act like women lost a ton of value at 30 as some sort of karma hitting back at them for wasting away their prime in their twenties. IMO, both talking points don't really match up to reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 05:09 PM
1

The problem is these are polls asking women about specific aspects and not asking both conservative men vs liberal men and comparing how they do. How a woman answers in a poll like this, and how she actually engages within dating could be very different.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 05:00 PM

The failure of one conservative dating app doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t do well on other apps or in real life. Conservative women tend to date conservative men which makes sense. Liberal women don’t want to date conservative men, but a lot of the time they end up doing it that’s where their attention goes.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 04:52 PM
1

Liberal Women love to act like conservative men are somehow not doing well but I honestly think they do fine. They tend to be more masculine and dominant, and are more ok with playing the more active role in the early dating stages (paying for dates, initiating everything). Liberal men are more like soy boys.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 04:48 PM

Ok
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/24 01:02 AM

I’ve noticed they’re much more desperate for male attention than twox types who always say they hate the male attention and never do anything for men. I’m reading stories where some of these FAwomen will fall for random dudes for making like a couple nice comments lol this is real sad stuff
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/24 12:44 AM

The foreveralonewomen subreddit is actually really depressing.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/24 12:24 AM

I guess that is a good example because I can’t really fathom putting family relationships at the same level as the quality of your living space. But if that’s how you feel then I guess that makes sense. I’d accept that a partner may lead to me seeing my family less due to spending time with her, but I wouldn’t want the quality of the relationship to go down. And if they made me cut off my family that’s obviously a dealbreaker
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/24 12:14 AM

I actually seethe more inside when I see an ugly dude with a hot girl. Because it is a hot girl taken out of circulation without the corresponding attractive dude… seeing a tall guy with a hot girl doesn’t really mean anything because it’s two attractive people taking each other out of the market

/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 11:41 PM

so by this logic... why would i ever do that? i would have to lower my quality of life in the area that is most important to me in order to be with a man. Maybe this is just a difference in the way men and women think. But I would 100% do that. The idea that I would not begin an otherwise good relationship because we have different ideas of the quality of the living space (either worse or better than me, though I guess i wouldn't want to date a really bad slob) is absolutely unthinkable to me. /r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 11:20 PM

I don’t agree with that definition. Every relationship in existence has something in it that it changed would cause the relationship to end. Many relationships would end if the man lost his job or if the women was less attractive or even vice versa. What if someone’s personality completely changed, they become a bad person and they broke up. Was it an abusive relationship because it only existed based on the personality of that person? No relationship is unconditional… The condition of this rela…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 11:16 PM

Depends on the behaviour, violence, manipulation, gaslighting, stuff like that women shouldn’t tolerate but I do think men would prefer that women not care as much about certain niceties. Women generally have a higher standard on what is considered clean, care more about stuff like decoration, have less need for material things etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 11:03 PM

No but what is the abuse exactly here?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 10:55 PM

But he is open and transparent about his issue being the fatness. To me it’s more that he’s being quite harsh with her but not abusivep
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 10:53 PM

No, standards encompass both the treatment and looks. And women care about both. Men are saying to lower the looks standard while women think men are saying tolerate worse behaviour
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 10:49 PM

I notice when women on twox type rants say they will never lower their standards, theyre mostly talking about some behaviour they won’t tolerate. Whereas when men talk about women lowering standards to find different guys to date, it’s about looks. It’s like the two groups are talking past each other but using the word standards which is inherently vague

This study was about sexual attraction though. Women sexually liked men a bit older than themselves and men liked women in their early twenties
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 08:15 PM
1

From what I’ve seen women said they liked men a born older than they were themselves. Maybe you saw something different
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 08:10 PM
1

Ok what’s wrong with what I’m saying? I don’t get it. This also generally tracks with what men say about women’s attractiveness. Men of all ages say most attractive is early twenties, men of most ages are consistently going for early twenties women.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 07:57 PM
1

No I’d say the average women looks better. But when I say age better I mean the fall off is steeper for women. An average Women in their early twenties is much more attractive than the equivalent male. But that gap lessens in their 30s and then in their 40s, 50s, etc. That is aging better, men have a less steep drop off
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 07:41 PM

Thats a fine answer assuming it’s true
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 07:25 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 07:19 PM

I’d honestly rather be told no and the direct true reason why. It would honestly help me understand better what I’m doing wrong and why the rejection keep happening. I get that’s not a likely thing to happen but I’d want it. As rejections go, I’d love to hear “no, because I don’t find you physically attractive” if she thought that.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 07:01 PM

I wouldn’t call them more flexible, I’d call them different. If anything I’d say, women’s beauty standards are less rigid. Men’s beauty standards are very focused on bone structure in your face, hair, and your skeletal structure (frame) in your body, along with height. All of these are genetic and other than hair, unfixable or they require super invasive or Eden dangerous surgeries. Women can delay and lessen wrinkles through good diet, sleep, skincare, lifestyle. Being skinny, which is paramoun…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 06:24 PM
2

I didn’t say they’re weren’t. In fact, I implied they were doing procedures. I said when women and women are doing a similar amount to maintain their appearance, which includes procedures, men tend to age better. Really good hair transplants are a big one, which most Hollywood men have done at this point. Caucasian men with no treatment on hair tend to have lots of hair loss by their 40s and 50s.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 06:03 PM
1

I think men if they put as much effort as women do in their appearance tend to age better. Male Hollywood actors generally age well. Women do too but a lot of them are chasing that eternally youthful look through plastic surgery and it comes out looking a it wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 05:55 PM
1

Maybe men tend to age better because the facial fat loss associated with aging is generally better for male facial aesthetics than female facial aesthetics

But this never happens according to ppd women

You can fear looming death if seeing a man. I was answering based on how I would personally feel in they situation. The bear would evoke a much more significant response, while a man might evoke that response for certain women. The actually relative survival rates of a bear vs encounter would be in favor of the man though. There’s a reason they have signs in certain parks warning about bears and not “man signs.” The people tasked with the safety of these parks believe bears to be a bigger threat…

As do I, which is why choosing the man is the clear answer.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 12:42 AM

This may just be a difference in the way men and women tend to think. When you give me a hypothetical, I’m gonna answer it seriously. Men do these sorts of debates on different hypotheticals all the time, we actually want to know. And answering the way many women seem to does appear possibly offensive or stupid or just as a way to virtue signal (in the relative survival way to answer the question, which is the way men tend to think). If you want to represent that feeling, just talk about that fe…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 10:32 PM
5

Yes, that’s I said sort of, but I would easily still choose the man over the bear. The bear is more frightening to me and I believe it to be dangerous as well. And men can rape men as well. Men can also murder other men. An also beat you up and steal resources (probably the most likely violence scenario in this situation).
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 10:23 PM
10

Sort of, but not exactly. I would definitely have a fearful response and be suddenly on my toes if I saw a stranger man. A bear would cause me to internally freak the fuck out and honestly fear looming death. You could say my responses to both situations are similar but all of those internal mechanisms producing that fear in my body would just be heightened with the bear. The bear would scare me significantly more, but a stranger man would be scary too
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 10:17 PM
34

Your question would not have sparked nearly the offense the man vs bear one did. Most guys would answer women to your question for a few different reasons. Most guys took offense to being worse than an extremely dangerous wild Animal. Being worse than a human women isn’t quite the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 10:06 PM

It is rare but I’ve met a few
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 09:33 PM

One piece of empathy I have is for women who are not overweight and have undesirable looking faces. Men care heavily about looks obviously and if you stay in shape but are still ugly I get how that would be a bad experience.

It doesn’t directly, but people act like Reddit is this super misogynistic place, when it’s does actually skew liberal. IRL USA is really a pretty socially conservative place with traditional ideas about dating as compared to a place like Reddit.

I actually just got digits and it’s most likely not a fake number, so I could still be in it
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 08:43 PM

Real life is actually more pilled than Reddit. Remember 50% of this country is gonna vote for trump in November
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 08:22 PM

How ugly are the women though
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 07:26 PM

I understand liking the constant support, but I’d much prefer more blunt constructive criticism than unabashed support. I know I’m not perfect but I know I’m not also the worst person ever. I’d want someone to be serious but not mean about my faults if I come to them with any issues I’m facing.

I’m neutral on it, compliments from people I know well don’t really do anything for me. My sister or mom saying I’m handsome obviously doesn’t mean much if I can barely get matches on it lol Compliments from women in attracted to are the only ones that actually make me feel anything
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 04:09 PM

I feel like you’re probably gonna end up with an incel or an incel adjacent type. I feel like you’d vibe well with that doomerism, it’s just in opposite directions
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 11:53 PM

One thing that is interesting is ugly women who say they’re treated like shit by men when in reality they are just treated like men. And it’s not even necessarily bad, men generally treat new men with a sort of cold politeness, whereas women are much more externally joyful around newer women. And both aren’t necessarily wrong, it’s just women take the treatment as being like shit when in reality it’s reasonable way to treat someone. What has a new person earned to be treated so well? What respec…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 11:08 PM

I am very aware of the modern dating scene lol, I’m currently in it. I’m not Chad and I get liked by land whale type women a decent amount on apps and some have been decently clear that it would be easy to hook up with them. Obviously they want chad but they will still go lower.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 10:55 PM

You actually don’t if the girls are ugly and fat enough
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 10:48 PM

Damn that sucks good luck on your looksmaxxing journey
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 10:34 PM

Does that include yourself?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 10:30 PM

How would you decenter women as a man or vice versa for a women when every cell in your body is programmed specifically to reproduce. It seems futile to fight against our basic makeup as a species.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 10:15 PM

The obsession with therapy is hilarious. I’ve been multiple times and I wasn’t able to gain much from it. It’s good to have a person to talk to I guess but I didn’t see it really helping my mood or improving my myself in any way. I think therapy in general is catered more to the emotional needs of women
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 09:31 PM

Married couples are statistically happier so it’s not completely ridiculous
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 08:51 PM

I dont really have much interest in casual sex. I want a serious relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 08:38 PM

Weird situation. Was having a good convo with a women online, I ask her out she doesn’t respond for a while, like multiple days. I was interested and even double texted like an idiot… Then she finally gets back to me and wants to go out, but I had basically already mentally checked out of it. I feel like it’s a case of all her other options went cold and I was like a backup. Not sure if I’m gonna go out tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 06:54 PM

My mother is an anti-vax trump supporter who believes trump should have tried to get pence to throw out the election in 2020 and I couldn’t even think about distancing or cutting off my mother. And they is much much worse than relatively tame red pill stuff. The dad wasn’t even in that deep

The “it’s because he can’t get anyone his age” is probably the biggest women cope as it’s normally said by women who are a bit older and are jealous of their declining desirability
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 05:31 PM
2

I would much prefer this. I have the resources so I wouldn’t mind the fee and it keeps out some of the riff raff. It’s similar to why I’m fine paying a cover at a club/bar while women get in for free or less. Some men wine about equality but I get the economics and supply/demand issues at play
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 05:11 PM

I honestly feel bad for you at this point
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 07:20 PM

Ideally the ubi would be enough to survive but you’re not really gonna be super comfortable. Most people are going to still want to work.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 06:28 PM
1

I have no problem with collective bargaining. If workers can do that, advocate for themselves, and get a living wage out of it, it’s no problem. It’s consistent with market capitalism as well. Collective bargaining is THE advantage workers have. Strong union protections is another way along with ubi to help against employer exploitation
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 06:11 PM
1

That’s the beauty of ubi. If you get rid of the need to survive through ubi that defines labor relations the inequality between and employer and employee, you need to raise the wage to clean public toilets. You’ll get someone to do it eventually m, just gotta pay a lot more for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 06:08 PM
1

Because that doesn’t happen now with the current minimum wage. The vast majority of jobs are above the minimum wage, so if what you were saying were true shouldnt companies just set everyone’s wage at the minimum wage. But they don’t Employers are willing to pay for valuable labor.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 05:36 PM
1

This doesn’t really make sense to me. The person whose profits the wage ones out of decides how much they’re willing to spend on the labor (assuming no minimum wage). Whether it’s a living wage or not doesn’t really matter. The payer of the wage can just decide at any point they’d rather not pay it or only pay less. There is no obligation of the payer to pay anything at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 05:27 PM
1

It’s not about being comfortable. Some labor just isn’t worth that much due to it lacking value for some reason. The main reason being it doesn’t really require many skills so basically anyone can do it. Not everyone necessarily has the skills to do a job that would allow them to not live in poverty in the current labor market. That is just true. Your lack of comfort with it is what leads to the political movement La they advocate for stuff like the minimum wage. And that’s ok, that’s the point …
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 05:12 PM
2

They’re an inefficient way to deal with the problem they’re trying to solve. Having a minimum wage decreases employment because it gets rid of labor that is worth less than the minimum wage. I’d rather just pay people a UBI to have their security and then have no minimum wage. The goal is to try to balance our desire for people to be able to have enough to live with our desire for the market to efficiently set the labor market.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 04:45 PM
1

Generally I think minimum wages are a bad idea, but having at least some balance is a necessary evil imo
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 04:29 PM

Lol we’d be an interesting couple, definitely fight a lot but honestly our chemistry wouldn’t be the worst We spar a lot on here
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 06:44 PM

You realize the 19-21 bmi guy is a meme for a reason right? Most guys like skinnier girls in general but aren’t thinking like him at all lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 05:43 PM

What men are claiming that fat distribution has no effect on attractiveness? That’s very basic for the vast Majority of men
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 05:26 PM

For women it’s the opposite, they say they want a women in a man’s body but their actions tell a very different story
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 05:19 PM

My standards Fluent in English Gainful employment with some room to grow in position (though this is flexible I just want a little ambition) No drug addiction No serious mental health issues Compatibility on key values like finance marriage and kids and generally on politic Compatibility personalities that mesh well Loyalty and integrity I have some level of physical attraction to them
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 05:07 PM

Women, easily.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 05:19 AM

Genetics influence your metabolism, and how many calories it will take to lose weight. If you eat less than that, you’ll still lose weight
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 01:39 AM
2

Weight is not genetic, eat less and you lose weight. You can date anyone you want with any height but the comparison between the traits of height and weight is not reasonable due to what I said before.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 01:34 AM
1

Height and weight are not the same, one is genetic and one is controllable
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 01:26 AM
2

You say you don’t want short genes, how do you know if someone is too short for you
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 01:21 AM
1

But you would see his height decrease more than from normal shoes and you could just look at his shoes and know he’s wearing lifts It literally is a fake couple inches until it wears off the first time you do a date they can’t wear lifts or you have sex and they get barefoot
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 01:14 AM
5

Lol what but you would eventually see the person without shoes and see their real height Why troll like this
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 01:09 AM
3

Not usually though you might be barefoot in a beach date
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 01:08 AM
3

Height is measured barefoot Am I really having this convo lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 01:05 AM

Putting on shoe lifts isn’t increasing your height what lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 01:01 AM
7

Wait are you really comparing leg lengthening surgeries to losing weight? The arguments get worse and worse lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 12:57 AM

I would not date either probably but the single mom is overall better. Being is a single mom is another one of my biggest dealbreaker as well
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 11:50 PM

For me it’d be fine because it’s obviously sarcastic, since I’m a bigger guy. If I actually were little and was called that, I definitely wouldn’t like it idk if I’d be mad though
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 10:19 PM

Fat is worse for me. It’s really that bad tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 09:48 PM

Functionally what you’re saying might be true, but perception is what matters. It’s true that you might not necessarily be worse off without the experience, but A women will wonder why you haven’t been in one and be less likely to want to start one with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 09:46 PM

The most important thing for a women in dating is not to be fat. It dwarfs anything else. A fat women has no right to complain about dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 09:41 PM

It ain’t all virgins
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 07:34 PM

Honestly I think many here and even some of the women have some thoughts about you they’re not putting into comments…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 07:32 PM
6

Women in my family have. Women outside have not, I think it’s expected women will make a man’s life harder and you just kinda have to take it on the chin. Cost of doing business if you will
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 02:08 AM
2

The standard for everything not even in dating is just lower for women
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 11:43 PM
1

I think realistically more of the low tier men are supposed to just die off or get killed by stronger high tier men. Our society kinda rises above nature in that way where the low tier men are all still here and existing m, which is good to have more people living. It can just clash against our natural tendencies
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 10:40 PM
1

I can handle the daily chores, I just despise deep cleaning and wouldn’t want to be doing that especially in a bigger home
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 10:23 PM

If I get a girlfriend, I think I’m just gonna get a cleaner to come every 2 weeks to deal with that. That’ll shut her up on all the household chores shit
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 10:16 PM

Yeah university is the best time for a guy due to having a ton of easy access to women around and lots of chances to meet through parties, activities, class, etc. also the gender ratio helps men there as well. It changes after university and becomes substantially more difficult for dudes
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 09:51 PM

How did they meet girlfriends?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 09:42 PM

People don’t really want to be like those African countries ideally we’d be at replacement level or slightly above, so like 2.1-2.3 instead of 5-6 like these countries.

I agree and I will debate people but her reply was not substantive, so I will give what I get

I would hope that Biden doesn’t submit to these people, they’re aligning with Hamas, we shouldn’t be aligning with them

NO my pill is right! Not yours!
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 07:09 PM

Just red pill for women yawn
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 07:05 PM

But they want Chad and are willing to stay single for an indefinite period of time if they don’t get it. If we believe women and their libido is more reactive, they can just go awhile without sex and then when they feel the need to have a relationship they compromise and date the average joe that she rejected a few years ago.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 05:44 PM

Has there even been a PPD IRL meetup? How did it go if it happened?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 05:30 PM

I am not attracted to overweight women and really like fit and toned women. I don’t been really care that much about a tits and ass if the body in general looks fit/toned I guess I like the commitment to health and fitness that shows. Tits and ass are genetic but fitness is not.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 05:15 PM

They can talk about the dating environment in high school, in college, dating apps, and many have a fake ID and can get into those places anyway
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 05:09 PM

Yes the ppd men are so bad and the ppd women so good yet we’re both still here
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 05:04 PM

Wouldn’t that be similar to the internet itself? The English speaking internet is mostly younger white men and suburbs are the most heavily populated areas if you look at demographics
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 05:01 PM

I find that men tend to connect better through a shared activity like a hobby, sports, or video games. Connections will remain sureste level without that

Dating in the usa is so awful lol, how did it get to this
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 11:38 PM

I think I’d do better in something like speed dating because even though it’s still superficial at least you have more to show. All that really matters in online dating is how good your face looks in pics
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 09:55 PM

I had a pre-op transman message me who wanted me to be their sudar daddy to help them pay for their surgery.

It’s literally you and your bubbble not all millennials, you are much more more promiscuous then the average millennial
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 06:00 PM
1

You’re in a bubble. Most people only have a few long term relationships that long, so they won’t forget. They also don’t have many other casual sex partners. Your view is skewed by your bubble and very abnormal
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 05:19 PM
3

No most people would not forget a person they had an almost one year relationship until they reach dementia years. That is not normal
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 05:07 PM
1

there's a difference between not recalling all of the details of an old relationship and completely forgetting the guy, which you said in the OP. The second part is crazy, the first is normal
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 04:53 PM
3

what are you talking about? diet is the key to losing weight and disciplined eating doesn't necessarily mean an eating disorder/malnutrition/health issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 04:51 PM
1

how do you know? all she mentioned was a one year relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 04:46 PM
4

But it’s not for her though. She forgot a dude she dated for a year. Not just a hookup, that’s fucking crazy to me. It just doesn’t compute with my brain
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 04:36 PM
1

I have a good memory for stuff like that and I still remember every first date I’ve been on going on a decade or so since I’ve started dating. I’m not sure why I’d forget any, maybe once I get dementia in my later years lol, I don’t go on enough dates to forget
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 04:34 PM
4

Dude I would be such a hot girl, I am a very disciplined eater
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 04:32 PM

Women live on a different planet man, I couldnt imagine forgetting a women i went on one date with, let alone a year of dating. That’s part of this gender divide, we just live such different lives
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 04:27 PM

It’s too vague to be of any use
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 02:28 AM

I don’t think there are many here who claim to be Chad though
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 12:35 AM

The competition for healthy (19-21 bmi) women is very high
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 11:51 PM

Where is it more common to see it? Urban? Rural? Suburban? I am in a suburban area and have lived most of my life in that type of area
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 11:26 PM

I mean I go to stores and walk on sidewalks, I just don’t see it much.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 11:22 PM

I am a pretty observant person and like to really people watch a lot and I honestly rarely ever see women get hit on by men in a non bar, party, or club setting. It definitely happens sometimes, but it’s so rare that I’ll legitimately think to myself “wow that dude is spitting some game, hope it goes well for him.” I know that I’m not the women so I may be missing it but it feels like I should see it much more.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 10:54 PM

But he’s a doctor though, so??
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 10:41 PM

What are you taking about? In this climate, how in the world could you possibly come away with the idea they men are able to excuse away body count? Or a desire for a much younger partner? What world are you living in? And you’re getting crisscrossed on the difference between a standard and preference. If a female says they have a preference for taller men but would dare shorter, that wouldn’t really cause an any issues. If a female said she’d only date 6ft+ (standard) it’d be memed on. Same thi…

Thst specific incel may believe that, but it’s not really a commonly held belief at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 10:18 PM

I mean a dude can have an ideal partner but still be willing to settle for less than that
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 10:10 PM
1

I want kids but not sure I’d want to pass on my hair genetics to a bio child. I have aggressive balding, I stopped it before it became bad with finasteride, but not sure I want to subject a child to that
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 09:55 PM

I mean it’s clearly doing badly like most of the other dating apps but I don’t think it’s close to bankruptcy
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 08:18 PM

How do you know it’s close to going bankrupt?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 07:34 PM

Lol bumble making it so women don’t have to make the first move because too many women complained that it was too much of a burden to make the first move will never not be hilarious.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 07:16 PM
1

You can still consider the source and not just discount it wholesale. You can take an article from a site with a specific political leaning and general find the fact and the editorial part of how they interpret they fact. Take the fact and then look at the editorial as their opinion on that fact. It’s not really that difficult
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 06:50 PM
1

I legitimately don’t think like that. My brain just processes things differently. Maybe im legitimately different than most other people? But I like to consider ideas on their own merits no matter the source. A good example is someone like the unabomber who was a terrorism but his manifesto had some interesting ideas.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 06:37 PM
1

Ok there fine, but the other problem with your analogy is it doesn’t really fit what we’re talking about. I have no desire to date, or meet, or personally talk with Andrew Tate. I don’t even have a desire to watch his content. The extent of thinking about him Amos taking what I’ve seen of him from general internet use and curiosity throughout the years and just categorizing what I haven’t agreed with and what I have. That’s it. There’s no consideration of my safety like I would have to do in you…

Then I end up dead
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 06:17 PM

Is she hot and dtf would honestly be my first question tbh, I don’t think this is as good of an analogy as you want lol, inky gonna stern a relationship with her if what you say is true but meeting and hooking up could be chill
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 06:12 PM

I have probably seen a total of around 30 minutes of total Tate content in my life. A couple of his mainstream interviews, parts of a couple of long form podcasts where he spoke and then an assortment of random short videos that are probably like 30 seconds long usually. It’s not really a ton. I also have a decent understanding of the evidence against him and what sort of illegal activity he has allegedly done from reading articles on him. I do have an overall negative view of Tate. But I can st…

What do you mean let it go? I don’t agree with the statement about it being gay to have sex for pleasure with a woman. I’m not letting it go. How am I proving the cult of personality if I’m explicitly disagreeing with it? Picking and choosing is denying the cult of personality because I am choosing to not believe in certain aspects of the person and denying the ability for the person to to decide for me whether I believe it is right or wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 05:53 PM

I look at statements individually. And the statement you mentioned appears to be one in line with his Islam arc. Not really my thing because I despise organized religion but it seems he is basically pushing that as his thing now. The comment doesn’t really destroy the validity of comments he has made regarding modern dating, women’s standards, discussion on the importance of value for men, which would be more relatable to normal men.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 05:42 PM

I’m not starting a relationship with Tate or any social media personality with the goal of spending the rest of my life with them. It’s simply just listening to things they say and saying I agree with this and disagree with this. I don’t think any social media personality I like has said nothing a bit unhinged in their time online.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 05:24 PM

It’s not really cherry picking. People are allowed to think some things a person say are right and some aren’t. It’s the same with red pill grifter types. They have more moderate stuff that most men will relate to and extreme stuff that most won’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 05:09 PM

Most people pick and choose what they like from different ideologies, influencers, etc. It’s the same with the Bible as well

1

You must be in one of the biggest bubbles in existence lol
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 05:01 PM

Been doing a little soul searching and I think the root cause of my issues are a lack of confidence that began in my adolescence due to body image issues. I was very tall and lanky then and people would make fun of me and ask if I was anorexic, including my family. So I basically developed this idea that I wasn’t man enough and too weak so no girls would ever like me. And I hated the way I looked, but now looking back at old pictures I definitely looked a bit awkward and really lanky but most of…

They are rare at 27, my age as well. And women tend to agree with me not you lol, one of the most common things we hear is there aren’t any good men around, so your experience seems wildly out of wack. And I will say the same is true for women with the same traits. Very rare to find a women who fits all of those
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 04:46 PM

That would work, but there are a few things I wouldn’t like about being a women. Having to go through pregnancy if I want a bio child and periods being the main issues. But being attracted to women is a curse so the ideal is just to be a gay man where it’s accepted (in a liberal area of a western developed nation) with being a woman as second.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 04:43 PM

God I wish I were gay, dating would be so much easier
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 04:27 PM

Because you’re changing around what I said. Visceral attraction is like the guy you swipe for on tinder vs the slowly developing physical attraction of a guy you meet in class, a friend, or at a hobby meet up. And fun to be around is not the same as charismatic. Men who are charismatic and viscerally attractive are rare. Ones that have all of the other traits mentioned are legitimately almost impossible to find. I know zero men like that and only a few who hit most of the boxes. You’re not marry…

I’m not in a happy relationship but I’m usually here while working because I’m in an office job with downtime. So I could be here in a happy relationship as well, I’d definitely never be here in my free time though if I were in a happy relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 12:36 AM

I wouldn’t care about n-count but knowing that you didn’t viscerally desire me physically would be tough to get through. I would want that from my partner. Wouldn’t you?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 12:18 AM

Also, cool idea. How about you show your husband this post? You can take out the cuck and pill stuff though show him the second paragraph
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 12:00 AM

Why are you telling us this?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 11:59 PM
2

I could do without charisma and financially stable is flexible as long as the person is not heavily in debt. Also men are viscerally attracted to many more women than women are men so that raises my pool significantly.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 11:10 PM
2

And that happens to me multiple times a day assuming I am leaving the house for work and honestly like 20+ if I am going to a really packed bar or a wedding or something. This is why the expectation of this sort of visceral attraction is too high to meet for men. You just don’t feel it for enough men. And online dating/cold approaching at bars is based most on this sort of visceral attraction. It illustrates clearly why there is such a huge discrepancy in attention certain men get.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 11:05 PM
2

Not visceral though. This is the whole point. That average man courted her and the physical aspect developed/got her to like him through charm or personality. I think your mistaking what I’m saying. I’m NOT saying women can’t be attracted to average men. I’m talking about the type of attraction where you just look at a person for the first time and are like yes I’d fuck them. They is visceral. That number of people is significantly higher for men than women.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 10:51 PM

You’re speaking of a very small amount of men that actually have the desire and capability to sleep around. Women overestimate how many men actually want to and are sleeping around and have these rosters of women, because they interact with them more on average than just your average normal dudes and incel types So a few incels say they want to sleep around? How are they actually affecting modern dating? If an incel actually gets a GF, he is holding on to her for deer life no matter how much shi…

But women are not viscerally attracted to average men, that’s been made abundantly clear. Walk down a street with a male friend or your brother and point out how many people you each find attractive. See who wins. It will be shown quite clearly. They can become attracted over time or through personality. But the visceral aspect is wanted from women nowadays and women don’t feel that towards average men. They just don’t

/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 10:18 PM

It’s not and you admitting this illustrates the delusion of women
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 10:16 PM
2

It is extraordinary difficult when women are viscerally attracted to very few men. Also it illustrates the deception of women because “good” doesn’t correlate with many of those qualities like charisma or visceral attraction. The use of “good” is meant to hide the difficult to obtain traits like looks and charisma. Glad you’re admitting to it though good to see a women actually do that
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 10:15 PM
6

Everything legitimately boils down to this. Since women find many less men physically attractive, the odds of finding a man who is single, viscerally attractive, loyal, financially stable, a good partner, healthy, charismatic, similarly minded in values, AND commitment-minded is legitimately really difficult. And when women say “good men” this is what they mean
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 10:00 PM
3

Definitely have noticed this on apps. There’s nothing more tough to get through than 5-6 women on dating apps. Constant tests and games from these women. It’s not often it happens but when I get a match with a 7+ women they’re just more open and willing to talk and date. Still tough cuz they have a lot of competition to deal with but they have less walls ive seen. Maybe it’s a function of them having better interactions with men?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 08:09 PM
1

I mean this is one of the most basic fallacious arguments in existence, argument ad populum. I don’t understand why you have to tie yourself in knots with fallacious arguments to defend these people. Why go to bat for them? What’s so important about the view that you feel the need to defend it from the very basic anti-male language they use. It just makes feminists look terrible constantly a lack of intellectual consistency here and it turns us off to feminist thinking
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 08:03 PM

Yeah I notice the quality of women on apps is really low. Women wonder why they just pumped and dumped and it’s quite obvious most women on there just aren’t really relationship material

Most women don’t end up with the most attractive guys who get visceral attraction from women. That’s just the reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 02:12 AM
5

But the thing is I don’t think saying no necessarily makes you look bad. Many women are the types that struggle to find visceral attraction to a dating profile unless the guy is very attractive to them. It’s not really a bad look for them imo People are much different in person when you see a 3d version of them, their mannerisms, their voice, presence. Men tend to be better in person
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 10:50 PM
6

this is a good question, because i feel like the answer for most would definitely be no, and that honestly hits directly at the main problem in the dating market today. A dating profile just isn't the best way for a man to market himself in a romantic context. Never will be.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 09:18 PM

the women who justify anything in the name of the safety of women are literally the same as the politicians who answered "national security" to any question regarding how we responded to 9/11.

I would honestly like to date one of those vindicta chicks. Reading through the subreddits, it is much more relatable than women from places like Twitter and tik tok and obviously twox style women. I can relate to that struggle they have and it feels more authentic and honest to me than most other women. Some of the way the stuff is written feels very masculine in the way the go about thinking about the problems they have.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 09:03 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 08:19 PM

Another contribution to the man vs bear debate. Average dude is overweight, sedentary, not in shape and 40 years old. Depending on how in shape you are as a women, the dude might not even have the ability to do anything bad to you. Raping and killing does take effort

It’s a little bit of a chicken and egg situation. Women don’t want to compliment us for fear of compliment being taken the wrong way, but then they become so rare that getting one is very meaningful to us and raises our hopes. And in our defense getting a compliment from a straight women does definitely raise the likelihood they’re interested. It’s not foolproof but we’re not getting foolproof indications from women anyway, so we have to take what we can get. If we’re interested as well, we’re l…

The problem with this is that men more than women will come up with dumb hypotheticals and actually discuss them in a logical, serious manner. It’s just a common things guys will do to shoot the shit or just some guy will randomly think about. So when we hear stuff like that we actually want to think about it logically and come up with the right answer. /r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 06:22 PM

I would like to, but I make and have saved much more than the average women my age so I’d be at much higher financial risk in the marriage. I choose the bear.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 06:13 PM

Would you rather be married to a random bear or random women? At least the bear won’t take half so I take the bear.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 06:05 PM
2

Maybe I should change my pictures on my dating app profile to pictures of bears and I might have a shot. Seems like women prefer bears to men…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 04:26 PM

No the whole point of my op is that you shouldn’t be offended by it. Because using the logic of the women, they should be picking a bear over a women too. So it doesn’t really matter
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 10:48 PM

Then talk about those unsavory experiences specifically. Because using the bear itself is a tik tok style gotcha that is used to dehumanize perceived enemies. We see it constantly with politics and it’s how discourse breaks down. You can still have the discussion regarding those experiences without resorting to hypotheticals that are meant to trash men. And men can rightfully call that out. I think you’re missing the forest for the trees.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 10:40 PM

The problem is the hypothetical doesn’t really show men being the monsters you want them to be based on women’s own justification for it. If women are saying that using proper action, bears will ignore you and are harmless, then I’d choose the bear too. Why wouldn’t I? It doesn’t really show anything other men being more dangerous than a creature that WILL ignore you. Against you should also pick a bear over a random woman as well. The purpose is to bash men by likening them to a very scary and …
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 10:30 PM

That’s not why it’s called self improvement. It’s called that because you’re improving yourself but it can be for a multitude of reasons. And again you just agreed with my point. You said most women do it for themselves. Most men don’t. We do it to improve for some external goal, primarily to attract women, make money, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 10:22 PM

All of it. I consistently hear women say they’re doing any sort of self improvement for other women or for themselves. Only time I hear men involved are in vindicta style subreddits, which is like black pill women
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 10:17 PM

If you look at the way women answer the bear question, they justify it by saying the bears won’t attack you. They’ll ignore you as long as you know the right set of actions. So they’re basically saying the bears are harmless as long as you do X. So don’t feel bad by them picking the bearover a Man. You think they’re saying men are really dangerous and scary creatures, when they’re not. They’re saying men are more dangerous than these harmless animals. No sweat.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 10:09 PM

But plenty of women complain that they get pumped and dumped or that there are no good men or that they men they want don’t want them. Most don’t complain they can’t get any male attention, they just want different attention from the right men. Haven’t they every thought they self improvement for men would help them there?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 10:02 PM

It’s interesting to me that women will swear up and down and try to make it abundantly clear that no amount of self improvement they do is ever for men. While dudes will pretty readily admit that one of the primary reasons they do stuff like go to the gym or improve their style is attracting women. Just an interesting difference in how men/women interact.

I mean there are aspects that are worse and better for both genders. And the privilege of women in society is specifically something for modern advanced democracies. For example, women are not privileged in Saudi Arabia or in America in the 19th century. They were oppressed. The current education system is designed for women, men are punished harder in school, graded more harshly for the same work, given higher prison sentences for the same crime, rape/assault are taken less seriously, their men…

That’s fine but it’s useful to understand that men have it harder in dating and talk about it. That can ultimately help, because if a man is struggling in dating he can take solace in the fact that he is dealt the tougher hand and not feel as bad about himself knowing it is very difficult and so it’s not necessarily a reflection on himself.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 07:27 PM
1

You fundamentally misunderstand escalation. Women escalate when the man does, the hardest part is being the first one to actually do the escalation which is what the man does. Women just follow and are ultimately passive in the situation. It’s nice more difficult to have the active role than the passive one in any situation. And summing up everything else as “easy planning and a few words” is a gross simplification. For example, there are many women who consider a coffee date too low effort and …

I care about fairness and the fact that it’s very easy for women but extremely hard for men is annoying. Especially when women act like they have it hard And what something is supposed to be isn’t that important to me. I’d prefer dating to be easier. I don’t really want life to be that hard, why is that something you prefer? I’d prefer less stress and more happiness from an easier life.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 07:10 PM
5

I don’t want them to be too easy but there’s a world of difference between easy mode on a video game and the current dating market which is like the hardest difficulty of dark souls if you’re not exceptionally attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 06:58 PM

But being a women is so much easier so why is it weird to want to be a women
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 06:36 PM

Everything men do is in the hope that we can either to continue to subjugate women or in the future go back to a time when we do.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 06:06 PM

But then if I were basing this on personal experience I would probably pick a man and not a women. The men I know have been more resourceful in these sorts of situations they would offset any sort of violence difference between men/women that would occur because it’s really likely no violence from a human would occur.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 06:05 PM
4

See this type of comment illustrates to me that this discussion is more of a virtue signaling anti-man sentiment designed to troll other men. It’s decently effective I might say, but it’s clearly not in good faith.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 06:01 PM

Women on women sexual violence is more common than you’d think. Saying it’s minimal seems a bit off to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 05:55 PM

But the question is in comparison to the random bear they believe is very likely to just ignore them. Have they done any sort of analysis on that risk? Because if they believe it’s very likely to ignore them, why even take a chance at a human women that can kill, rape, steal, defame you when you get back safely, etc.? How do they know the difference in aggressiveness from the man versus the woman is enough to make them more safe from the women? It doesn’t really make any sense
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 05:53 PM
2

I didn’t say all of twox thinks this. I sad “I have seen women say it” in response to you saying where on Reddit have you seen it? And that’s fine if you don’t believe me, but others reading who have seen twox twox threads will know it is common and not out of character for someone to say on it. I don’t need to dig for you specifically to find something that is commonly said on twox style subreddits.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 05:46 PM

So what’s the issue then? Why wouldn’t this just be a human vs bear issue with the bear being picked? Why focus specifically on men?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 05:41 PM

The links are separate from the point that first steps are not all that is needed. That’s fine if you don’t believe me, I’m not going to dig through the links, not worth it for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 05:39 PM

One way to test whether a woman is being good faith referring to the man vs bear topic is their reaction if the question is bear vs. Women. Because the argument ultimately relies on the assumption that most of the bears will just ignore you as long as you don’t bother it, so the bear is the better option. The problem is that women have the same capacity for violence as men, and potentially have access to weapons to equalize any issues with strength. The risk factors for men would surely be a bit…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 05:36 PM

No I have a problem when people act like the first steps are all that is needed. That’s been clear throughout.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 05:31 PM

Sure they’re a precursor, it’s like a first step, but not even close to all you need
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 05:26 PM

I have seen women say on twox type subreddits that all you need to get laid as a man are to shower and “have a personality”
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 05:23 PM

In the early dating stages men do the vast majority of approaching, asking on dates, planning dates, leading conversation, initiating conversation, escalating physical contact, and escalating sex and romance. Women need to look attractive and have basic social skills. Note men need both of those two, so it’s more like additions to what women have to do.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 06:35 PM

I was hanging out with a gender group and one of the girls was showing her texts with a who was trying to get with her, and she read a text that was a pretty classic neg text. And everyone including the women were just like “yeah that was a great text, dude has game,” but according to PPD and twox most women would never fall for that and instantly write the guy off for being some negging red piller. Interesting how real life differs from the internet.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 06:30 PM

I mean a lot that stuff works sorta well. Nothing is really foolproof other than looking like Brad Pitt. Most dudes strike out a ton. If you want casual sex and you’re willing to fuck a lot of mentally unstable women the pick up artist stuff isn’t a terrible option.

The problem is in the past those undesirable men would be pairing up with undesirable women. Now due to the tough dating environment for men, more men are dropping out and turning to those other things which is almost like a snowball effect for their undesirability. But those undesirable women still desire a partner even if they’d prefer being single over being with an undesirable man. You can keep repeating that line but it ignores the fundamental problem that those women want a partner but the…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 06:19 PM

And many are. But statistically married and partnered people are happier than single people. In general people want to partner up. And remember this stuff is for pickup artistry, I.e. trying to get casual sex. Trying to get into a stable healthy relationsh…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 05:55 PM

Possibly but those women will still be unsatisfied with their romantic prospects. The vast majority of people desire romantic companionship.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 05:51 PM

Problem is if enough men drop out of dating and just go only with porn and AI chat it’s, then there will be a corresponding amount of women lower on the totem pole who will end up single and unpartnered. Those lower dudes would have paired up 50 years ago but now they see porn and AI as a better deal.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 05:44 PM

Those types of guys do use the stuff in a book like that just unknowingly. They are naturals at it. They don’t need a book to teach them.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 05:38 PM

It’s interesting because women tell on themselves with the gay comment and illustrate the fundamental problem. Women legitimately look at average and even some above average men like men look at other men from a sexual perspective. They are that turned off by the majority of guys which is completely counter to men who have a much broader range of interests in women. Getting a string of matches that is mostly early 20’s women, it ideal but I’ll take it I guess

Interestingly I much prefer slim over curves for a couple reasons. One I like the look, but also I tend to think slim ages better than curves and a slimmer women is probably in shape taking care of her body whereas the curvier bigger women is just relying on the natural curves to her body. Once she ages and starts sagging a bit more she goes down in attractiveness. The skinnier stays hotter later with that slim build and staying healthy over time.

There needs to be a difference between saying that person has a right to something and I feel it is unjust that they don’t have that something. The first one can be very bad depending on what we’re talking about and the first is ok.

The whole point is that people want it to be one way by making the argument and passing the legislation, and potentially ridding of the homeless if it works. Obviously there are both homeless and unloved people. It would possibly be fixed by government legislation. Remember we live in a democracy where many do not believe people have a right to housing.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/24 05:38 PM
1

If you claim you are “inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment,” which in this case is love and you currently don’t have it, you’re crafted an argument for the government to provide it for you. That is the basis for the idea of government healthcare, free housing, free education. It’s not a slippery slope, it’s just one logical step forward of your argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/24 05:25 PM
2

No, in this case it is not a slippery slope. Once you use the words entitlement or right, you’ve forfeited the ability to call it a slippery slope. It is much more apparent in political discussions. It is super common to hear talk of healthcare, schooling, or housing being a right, with the talk of legislation to give people those things if they don’t have them intertwined. It is not a slippery slope, it is the literal next question once you call something a right. If something is a right, and I…

Peope are absolutely not entitled to a romantic relationship or sex. That’s crazy talk. That leads to the logic of stuff like government mandated partners. Because if you’re entitled to something that means you’re entitled to the labor of another person to perform that entitlement for you. That is slavery lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/24 04:41 PM

Interesting hearing women talking about how they have a right to be loved or deserve someone who loves them, when that is the same thing as the incel argument referring men having a right to sex. Both require someone else to give the person something, and if you make it an entitlement, which is the definition of a right in their case, it is possibly against that someone’s will. Crazy stuff…

There’s not much else to take away from it. They try… and then they stop. Damn near two completely different people. This is an incredibly common phenomenon. And this is an opinion as well.

ok and lazy women waiting around for rich chad is an incredibly common phenomenon as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 10:47 PM

Yes, we can always just take the least charitable interpretation of men's actions. I could just easily say women are waiting around for a rich, hot man to pay for everything in her life
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 10:34 PM

This is completely counter to my experience. I see men slaving over women, doing tons of work to even get a chance to talk to a woman, with woman flaking, ghosting, showing little interest in dating, excessive standards, endless "icks." Your experience sounds fake to me, i struggle to see how that could be the reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 10:06 PM

Lol I don’t get how look at modern dating and say it’s men not trying. It’s like we live in different galaxies.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 09:41 PM

i literally was specifically asking about casual relationships But again, you didn't ask that. Why would the girl in the casual relationship be mad if he said he didn't have a girlfriend? It's a casual relationship. That's the whole point, there's no boyfriend/girlfriend label or exclusivity. Again, the better question would be just to ask if you are seeing anyone else, in any casual relationships, rather than asking if he's cheating on anyone. That's quite an odd thing to ask through text in a …
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 09:06 PM

it means he could be casually dating and fucking any number of women You didn't ask that though. First, you asked him if he was single, and then you asked if any girl would be mad if you said that. That implies you're not asking about any casual relationships. You're asking if he's deceiving any women that he's in a serious relationship with or has any sort of exclusive commitment with by presenting as single. Ask if he's fucking anyone else or in any other casual relationships. That's fine. You…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 07:46 PM

You already asked him if he was single. And he said yes. He already confirmed it. You asked again for some reason. You might have meant in a joking manner but if it’s an early response on a dating app, it comes off badly.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 06:52 PM

You don’t know if he actually was dating other people he may have just not liked that sort of comment from you that came off as untrusting at your core. I’ve dated women that would make comments like that early and usually they have a very negative view of men. He probably just didn’t want any of that, good for him

/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 10:38 PM

I didn’t say guys are treated like shut by other guys though, women are just so used to getting princess treatment from everyone else that being treated normally by a guy who isn’t trying to get into her pants is “like shit” to her
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 10:06 PM

Unattractive women complain that they are treated badly by men when in reality they are just being treated like other men. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from women it’s that they absolutely despise being treated like men by other men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 09:56 PM

I can want to fuck someone without getting to know someone. Just looking at a person will tell me instantly if I’m down to have sex I though this was common among men?

The nihilism from a growing minority of men regarding dating and relationships (including myself) is pretty crazy to see. It crosses with incels but not all of them are incels. I’ve met IRL and read about so many men online who legitimately are just checked out of the process

I mean I agree the new argument you made about nice guys wanting to pump and dump like Chad is hypocritical. You just didn’t say that one argument before, and it cuts against your argument that I was only excusing male behaviour more, I just disagreed on your original argument.

I don’t get the concept. Assume I haven’t passed preschool then. I personally find Anna sawai attractive and would like to have sex with her. I don’t find Kate winslet attractive and would probably not have sex with her. There, I commented on the attractiveness of two celebrities and what I would do sexually with them. Am I now a bad person? Am I unable to call myself a good person around women because I have sexualized these two women celebs? I just don’t get your argument if I logically follow…

No that’s not how it works. You have to show me why it makes someone not a good person to make a comment on someone’s appearance on an online forum. The most you could convince me of is that ugly is insulting and demeaning, but, unattractive, mid, or just calling someone hot are not inherently insulting. I just don’t see how it’s true and you haven’t really argued your point. You’ve claimed it’s true but haven’t convinced anyone why it actually is true.

I don’t get the insane amount of pushback to the 1-10 scale. The numbers could be replaced with words like “unattractive,” “average,” “cute,” or “hot” and it’d be the same thing. The point to all of this ranking people on your specific attractiveness scale which is done with words or numbers. It’s literally the same thing. Hot or not could be replaced with 1 or 0 and it’s literally the same game… I legitimately don’t get the logic from people that have this weird hatred of numbers on rating peop…

I think we need to differentiate between just rating a women, saying a women is beautiful, or demeaning one. I don’t really get how saying a women is attractive or ugly or mid necessarily makes you not a good person. If you just stick to their attractiveness, especially if it’s about a celeb, I see no issue really. If you go into demeaning them or insulting them, sure that’s bad. But you’re conflating a lot of points together that are not similar. Also there are issues with your wallet examples.…

I would argue women’s instincts are ultimately worse for picking ideal partners in the modern world. What protection and providing entails in the modern world is so radically different from how we evolved that everything gets thrown off from that.
