Because it's not a one or the either scenario. She would also be a scumbag, but we're talking to him right now so calling out how she would also suck is irrelevant.

That sounds terrible. I'm a male nurse. I have three 12 hour shifts a week and once a month I have to do 4. If I had to do 7 on and 7 off I would be absolutely miserable.

I see you have strong feelings about getting into shape. All I did was share was my experience with what made the biggest differences for me. If watching other people approach women helped this sub would be obsolete. Confidence doesn't form by watching, confidence forms by doing.

You're right. Getting fit doesn't directly make you more charismatic. However, it builds discipline, increases confidence, and gives you a productive hobby. Those are important towards developing charisma. Besides that, becoming fit makes you more attractive. Being more attractive will open more doors giving you more opportunities to become charismatic as well as give you more leeway in your interactions.

I’m sure some guys are going to disagree with me. If you’ve established that you have some similar interests then make a new friend. It’s okay to approach women because you’re attracted to them as long as you respect their boundaries you’re good. You have similar interests and as long as they weren’t painful to talk to why not? If you have to see it as a means to an end another girl friend can open you up to more women you don’t have to randomly meet who will have a good impression of you withou…

Everyone else has hit the nail on the head. One thing I haven't noticed mentioned in my quick scan of the comments is this: Getting fit gave me concrete proof that putting in effort over a long enough time will help me get better at things I'm bad at. This helped me in school and this helped me socially. It really solidified that I could do anything I put my mind to so long as I put the effort in to get better.

Hey brother I just wanna say you should be so proud of yourself for doing that. That's hard man. I'm proud of you and I don't even know you. The next thing I have to say is that I think you should keep going. I don't read a ton of things this subreddit anymore. I'm sure there are some guys who have had better results in their 100 approaches but you know what? Fuck them. You're you and if you keep at it and you keep learning from each approach you will get to wherever you want to get with your so…

This is partly true but also a potentially self destructive way to be. On one hand being comfortable and confident enough to do things on your own is a valuable skill to have. On the other you have to be practicing your social skills or you're not going to get anywhere with women. You can spend as much time as you want improving yourself in other areas, but if you don't also improve your social skills it won't matter. Advice like this gives people an out to justify not approaching/working on the…

What always worked for me back when I used to go to bars solo was to immediately start talking to people once I'm there. Strike up a conversation with whoever's next to you at the bar. Don't think about game just make small talk. Keep this up, after the first person talk to another and another. After two or three people I always found myself in a social mood and it made opening women a lot easier.

Following the advice will help your inner game. When we push ourselves out of our comfort zone we build confidence. It's alright to not feel ready and it's alright to get shut down. It's part of the process. I promise you if you make yourself do it regularly you'll build confidence and you'll build up your social skills

I'm gonna go against this. Maybe it'll work for this friend, but back when I had terrible AA and friends would do this I'd absolutely hate it. It didn't help me, it would just put a ton of pressure on me to hold a conversation. It would absolutely kill any chance of a natural conversation. The girl also knows exactly what you're doing. Now that I'm comfortable opening it'd be a different story altogether, but back then absolutely not. YMMV though, this is just my two cents.

I wasn't waiting for her. We were friends, I had my relationships and when we were both single we dated. Way to try to be a dick though

Yeah ended up with a whole different circle of friends because of it. When they broke up years later I dated her for a little while too.

If you want something you've never had you're going to have to do this is you've never done.

The same as at a club except you're outside.

This is what worked for me. Just talk to people to talk to people. The more social you are when you're out the easier it is. You'll always feel a little anxious, but from talking to so many people you'll likely have tons of positive reinforcement. People like to shoot the shit for the most part. If you're at a bar getting a drink say what's up to the person next to you and start a little conversation. From there talk to other people you cross paths with. Take baby steps. Start with saying hi to …

If I learned anything about fighting in front of women it's this. Most will be turned off by it and the ones that do like it are the ones who will start them for you in the future.

I don't know man, if he's getting beat up it doesn't sound like he's doing it right.

You did the right thing man don't feel bad. I'm pretty sure just about every guy in the community has a story like that that hurts to remember. It's part of your journey and you learned something. As far as oneitis goes I think of it this way. Every girl you date or start to hook up with regularly will be trying to induce that oneitis. The same way we don't like to share neither do they. It's all about keeping your emotions in check. And nobody can do that everytime.

Your car or hers works too. If of course she can't being you back to her place. If that's the case I'll ramp up the sexual tension and say we can go to my car, but just to make out. Once you're in the back seat just escalate. It's been working for me.

You'd be right except a guy can cheat on a girl. So who is whose property? I see it and I make it clear to people that I get into a relationship with that if they get physical with someone else I'm leaving them. Im faithful and I expect them to be as well. If they're not then we are incompatible.

I don't think the problem is attraction so much as it is comfort. It sounds like they're becoming uncomfortable about the situation. Are you very aggressive? Do you spend a good amount of time getting to know each other before things get hot and heavy?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
