You make great points, and I’m not saying that the “messy” reason is fact. I think it may factor in, but I didn’t think it’s the main reason. But it’s also my understanding that “violent” methods do not only include the use of guns. If I remember correctly, men also turn to things like hanging or jumping, which would be considered more violent methods. These methods are obviously much more deadly than the methods women tend to use (cutting, OD usually) so ghat may be the explanation for the stat…

Honestly I’m just using this as therapy at this point. Can’t wait to wake up to all the death/rape threats from all the women hating losers in this sub y’all get a life for real. I’m going to therapy to get my shit together, y’all should too.

Pretty sure they asked people who survived attempts

You don’t care about mens rights you just hate women and that’s very clear

I agree that mens issues are often dismissed, and I apologize if that was not clear and I apologize for assuming you don’t like women, that just seems to be a common feeling in this sub. But we actually learned that the reason for the difference was usually that women chose ways that were less messy so that there was less mess to clean up after they were gone. That’s what we were taught, anyway

Women literally have higher suicide attempt rates, men just tend to choose more violent and effective methods. I was a forensics student, I literally learned this from my professor who was the head of the FBI for several years. Also google is free. Please stop spreading misinformation to fuel your hatred for women

Modern “misandrist” is literally just women making fun of men for being shitty. Misogyny manifest by people being LITERALLY RAPED AND TORTURER AND MURDERED. Idk what fantasy land y’all are living in but holy shit please go to therapy or something

If you actually cared about mens mental health you would also advocate for men to get help instead of literally just bitching and shitting on women all day.

And don’t pull that “don’t care” bs on me, I am a strong advocate for men getting helping for their mental struggles, which I highly recommend for you

I’m being misleading by…adding context to statistics? Lmao. Okay.

Those statistics are misleading. Male and female suicide attempt rates are almost identical, men just tend to pick more “violent” ways (like gunshot, hanging etc) to go that end up being more successful

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
