Not if he treats me badly, which is what you said the richer/taller man would do.

We only talked about the college professors. Don’t add other ones because I specifically said women don’t really find academic rigors that attractive…they’re maybe neutral at best. All those jobs require being good at school. And you started out by saying smart people are always rich. So I'm just letting you know that's a stupid thing to say. But the point was, when you’re unable to have them (aka hitting the wall), and if you were lonely and horny, you’re not gonna go for the 5’2 balding jani…

Academic proficiency isn’t actually a good indicator of the kind of intelligence women deem attractive. Yes, all those college professors who just can't get dates.... Let's not move the goalposts. Not every smart person is chasing riches. I’d date angelina jolie and megan fox at the same time too. But it’s not what I’m talking about Ok, well unlike you, I've successfully dated men that value my opinions and feelings and that I'm attracted to. Maybe you should lower your standards from celebrit…

Nah, the red pill in it's purest form is just good advice. But the manosphere took it to another level.

No. I don't date people I don't want to have sex with. I will date a guy who values my opinions and feelings and who I'm attracted to.

Wealth is an extremely good indicator of a person’s intelligence. Yeah all those stupid idiot college professors... And if you’re gonna say that you’d rather be single than be forced to choose a 5’2 balding janitor or an uncaring Chad as a cop out, only know that you’re able to say it in the first place after giving the latter countless chances to ‘change’ and getting fed up Nah, never dated anyone I wanted to change. Not interested in that dynamic.

Bro, if you actually read what I'm responding to, it's manosphere content not the red pill. And if you're gonna pretend like the manosphere isn't full off woman hating you're in denial.

Richer = better intelligence Not at all true. Her opinions and feelings don’t matter because she can be easily replaced but the reverse isn’t possible….so she will NEVER be equal to him Thank you for proving my point with this statement. :) I'll only be dating men that value my opinions and feelings.

Inferior as a human, not inferior as in shorter or poorer.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/23 03:44 AM

Taller richer and stronger doesn't mean "better" as in not seeing them as an equal human being whose opinions and feelings matter just as much as another man's.

It also teaches men to think of women as inferior to them.

It's not deep down. We recognize the value of youth. It's rammed down our throats from birth. Doesn't mean I want to be followed to my car after work.

ND does make it harder, that's the point. ND people have to work extra hard, and depending on the severity of their diagnosis, it may never be possible to achieve desired results.

Sadly, it's a feature not a bug. Especially for the military and sex work. Much easier to get an 18 year old to sign their life away than a 25 year-old that understands the repercussions.

Here's the thing. They're desirable over there because of money/green cards. Sure, there are exceptions for attractive men, and there's always the chance of finding something genuine. But "average man" in the US is only more attractive than "average man" abroad because of resources. Perhaps marginally more attractive than local men in some countries due to height/skin color. So those relationships (usually) are going to be transactional. Which is totally fine as long as everyone is a consenting …

I cannot judge the man for keeping a woman the only way that he can which is by convincing her that he outranks her and therefore she should be happy to have him Yes you can. What's wrong with you? Please let's not condone abuse.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/23 11:35 PM

But what if you were actually a disgusting man? Then fooling a woman into thinking that you outrank them might be your best strategy for getting and keeping a woman for a while. Disgusting as in unattractive? If that's the case you're better off getting rich/higher status or going abroad. Being an asshole and unattractive is not a strategy that works well. I personally love women too much to use that strategy of disrespecting women, but I had to stop acting like women outranked me before I could…

Women don’t want to be with a man who is not their equal. I know what you mean, and I agree. I just don't think "treating women like garbage" is necessary or healthy. As you yourself demonstrated, exuding self-esteem/confidence doesn't require one to treat others badly.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/23 10:22 PM

Reasons aren't "excuses." For example, "having kids won't make me happier" is a reason some people don't have kids. Idk why reddit today forgot what "reasons" means.

Are they "good girls?" Or are they doing performative niceness? Or are they deeply insecure? Or are they toxic behind closed doors? Anecdotal, but I have a few women in my family that are very sweet....except to the people closest to them.

By treating them like garbage he is signaling that he outranks them and they are lucky to have him. No, a certain type of woman feels this way. Women with self-esteem and self respect don't stay with men that treat them like garbage.

It’s not my job to buy you a house. It's not? Damn I thought it was. Vote for politicians who don’t flood the economy with government money if you want to lower inflation so you can afford a house. That has nothing to do with the housing crisis. Or vote for local politicians who will loosen zoning regulations in your city so the developers will build more housing. None of this has to do with having children. Well if the reason for not having children is not being able to afford housing, then yes…

The pursuit of pleasure; sensual self-indulgence. Having a child is a completely selfish act. You're having the child because you want it and think it will make you happy. Since the child is not in existence when you decide you want one, the choice is as self-indulgent as it can get. People do it to feel complete and fulfill their dreams.

We know it's false because people had more kids when they had a lower standard of living and poor countries have far more kids than rich countries. Contraception, sex ed, and societal pressure to have kids. I'm not so sure they'd be having so many kids if they had great access to contraception and sex ed. Take away the pressure and workplace sexism and I'd bet the poorest countries would have the lowest birth rates. Poor people don't have more kids because they're poor. If anything, it's because…

Yes. They are making the choice not to have a child because they can't afford one. Daycare costs, on average $800/month. Add rent, diapers, rent/mortgage/car/bills. Then all the time you don't have to spend with your child because you have to work. Kids have to be picked up and driven around. Have medical issues. I mean, if she's a 9 or 10, what are they? Also 9s and 10s. I mean Gigi Hadid and Margot Robbie are not that different looking. 9s and 10s can all look different. All these women are fit with beautiful faces. A mid/average woman in real life is no where near Margot Robbie or any of these women. I think our standards for celebrities are much higher than our standards in real life because we're comparing celebrities to other celebrities not comparing them to people in person.

Im not entertaining this Tiktok belief on mental illness, so stop right there. It's not a tik tok belief. You can google it. All mental illnesses exist on a spectrum. Someone can be depressed and go to work, someone can be depressed and be unable to get out of bed, someone will be so depressed they kill themselves. This does not mean everyone is mentally ill. /r/PurplePillDebate02/09/23 08:26 PM

Mental illness is a huge spectrum. There is no such thing as "truly" having it or not. Someone can have mild anxiety and be insecure. Insecurity doesn't just happen out of nowhere. It's caused by trauma, or life experiences, or upbringing, or bullying, or health, or appearance, etc. There's always a cause and people can't just erase a part of themselves. No one that is insecure wants to be insecure. But you can't just "stop."

Most of those people would consider themselves to be health-conscious in their diet, as most people’s understanding of a healthy diet is about eating junk and treats in moderation, not cutting them entirely. That's totally fine, and not really disproving what I'm saying. You can define healthy diet however you want, that doesn't make it healthy. You're not eating treats in moderation if you are obese. Either way, the diet I am describing is a far cry from the usual rhetorical picture of an obese…

I do tend to use fat as my word of choice in these convos, but sure, if you want to dial in on obese people exclusively, I can do that. That's been the conversation from the very first, original comment. I'm not dialing it up, you're dialing it down. It’s extremely easy to eat a caloric surplus of sugar and carbs, and many people do, and many people do that while also living an active lifestyle and eating a lot of veggies and protein. Eating veggies doesn't cancel out sugar and carbs nor does it…

There are a vast number - and a sizable percentage - of people who would fall in that group. No there isn't. You're just making that up. Of all obese people it's a tiny, tiny minority. Most obese people are not active. You keep saying fat. We're talking about obese people specifically, not overweight folks. I always find it weird when people in these posts make it out like there is one way to be fat - it’s extremely commonplace, it stands to reason there would be many ways to arrive there. There…

I know there exist active obese folks, but this is a conversation about steriotypes and obesity not outliers. The stereotype holds true. In terms of a healthy body weight/healthy diet there are almost no obese folks save for extreme outliers like athletes of people with very rare diseases that have a truly healthy diet. Imma copy and paste what he said just for you: "You complain "why does the solution have to be taking women's rights" but then you propose no alternative so why the hell even say this in the first place. Sorry if this makes you uncomfortable but 50% of the population is men, if there is no alternative they will inevitably pursue what is known to work in order to solve their problems, are you that shocked ?"

I'm sure the men here would be happy to complain about all the things women do wrong in bed. Yesterday I was chatting with someone who saw no issues taking away women's rights so he could get a wife. People do be shitty.

Which is why I'm so vociferously against this idea of "being happy with yourself first". Subjecting yourself to even more solitary confinement is a batshit upside-down world answer to that problem Being happy with yourself first includes building strong, platonic relationships, friend. It's the opposite of solitary confinement and the last thing I or anyone else would recommend.

propose no alternative so why the hell even say this in the first place. Men not getting women is the alternative. There are only two options. Take away the rights of other people or be single. Ladies, this right here is why feminism still matters.

You don't care if women lose their rights?????????? Dude, wtf. And I did answer your question. Some men don't get relationships. Women aren't gift cards we give men for existing.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/23 08:44 AM

I am not advocating to take away women's rights but the fact remains that the only time in history when most men were able to get into relationships was when women had less rights lol. Yeah. So some men don't get to be in relationships. Because you don't want to take away women's rights, right? You have empathy and respect women as people and believe they, like you, deserve rights....RIGHT? Because you're not entitled to another human being, right??????

This is largely because many men (and women) mistakenly equate being emotional with showing emotions. You can show emotions is an emotionally mature way, or you can trauma dump your depression in a toxic way. Most people (men and women) do the latter. Men get more shit for it. But women don't lose interest if a man shows emotion in a healthy way. They lose interest when they realize that their strong man, deep down is sad, out of control, and insecure.

I will also say, if you are the best sex of a woman’s life, you won’t see much drop at all in desire after the honeymoon phase. This is super untrue. The honeymoon phase has a lot of hormones released that stop and her libido returns to normal and gets lower as she gets older. Then add kids and stress and it doesn't matter who you are, sex frequency will go down.

Men are at the bottom of our social pyramid IN REALITY. Patriarchy is a laughable boogeyman used by the most successful political movement in humanity's history, that is an unchallenged world champion of Oppression Olympics, with nobody to ever challenge that in sight. Feminist's version of patriarchy isn't reality, but that doesn't make the patriarchy not real. It existed and exists in many parts of the world (outside the west). It's just a system of government where men hold power and women …
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 07:57 PM

Patriarchy doesn't cater to "men" and never has. Patriarchy caters only to rich/powerful men. Patriarchy is why men, not women, were sent to die in wars or were slowly worked to death. Patriarchy was never a system for "men" it was a way for men in power to exploit people as much as possible. It put both genders into shitty roles and exploited both to the maximum.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:50 PM

That's why (and many other reasons) I'm not a feminist. The patriarchy isn't just what kept women from having equal rights. It also is what forced men to die in wars, and destroyed men's bodies for cheap labor. The only benefactors of patriarchy are the people at the top
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 06:47 PM

Working class men aren't the oppressors in patriarchy. They're also the oppressed. The oppressors are rich men/men in power. Regular men and women both suffered tremendously, and still do. Women are still not being forced to die in wars.

It's a shit system for everyone. And the "for men" bit is not a minor thing, it's foundational, as without it, you cannot blame a random person of certain gender of being "privileged" just for having a dick and identifying with gender given at birth. Men are not privileged in patriarchy, rich/powerful/high status m…

I did. The genetic difference is that they hold on to fat because of going on long journeys in the past when food was scares. The genetic difference ultimately results in them having a slightly slower metabolism.

he still views her like she was when they met This isn't true. Huge amounts of men cheat on perfectly good women, and many more would if they could. Humans aren't naturally monogamous. Men are biologically programmed to wanna have sex with as many women as possible. When she hits menopause, he's gonna lose attraction, resent her, and cheat if he can. The men that don't are a minority. There's nothing wrong with this (male nature) unless we're lying about it. Women need to accept that for most me…

But how they react to food compared to non-pacific islanders is genetic. They have a slightly slower metabolism meaning they need slightly less food. If that's a predisposition to obesity, then 100% of old people are predisposed to obesity.

I can't speak for new york, but this is not a thing for the average California woman. I'm pretty sure it's not for the average NY woman either. You're just in some weird social media algorithm.

You're making this up. How so? Is 100 calories of processed food going to effect them differently than others?

Are you saying Native Islanders require fewer calories to gain weight? You have anything to back this up? Because from what I understand they're just consuming too many calories.

They were not an obese nation until their land was destroyed and they were forced into reliance on cheap processed food. It's not genetics. It's just food/calories in/calories out. Genetics is things like their large body frames, but that has nothing to do with obesity and body fat.

Dude, the facts are that they all had normal BMIs and were nowhere near the fattest nation until their land was destroyed by phosphate farming so people were pushed into consuming cheap, processed food as unprocessed food became too expensive They might have large body frames but that has nothing to do with body fat and obesity.

This is like when men say don't ask women for dating advice—don't ask men for dating advice as a woman. The whole submissive thing is what they think they want....but it's not what they go for or actually want. In my experience, and despite what anyone says, men strongly prefer women that are not submissive, especially sexually. They want women that are very sexual, confident and take charge in the bedroom. They want a woman that wants them, initiates, and does the work, and then lets them be li…

Sure. I just see a lot of men say women don't like emotional intelligence, but then the "emotional intelligence" is "I cried to her for 3 hours about how my life sucks and I'm worthless and depressed."

Not at all. Someone that gets angry and screams at you for burning dinner is not emotionally intelligent. Someone that cries because you said you didn't like their haircut isn't emotionally intelligent. Someone that trauma dumps on people isn't emotionally intelligent. Being emotional is not the same thing as being emotionally intelligent. Emotional intelligence is being able to understand other people's emotions and being able to understand and manage your own emotions in positive and healthy w…

I've had men lie about being taller multiple times with tinder dates. I personally don't care about a few inches as long as he's over 5'5'' so it's all good. If he lied and said he was shorter I'd be more put off because that means he's too socially inept to know most women like tall men and that's weird, but neither would be a deal breaker. I did have a guy lie about his weight (skinny in pics and heavy irl) and that was a deal-breaker instantly.

Looks and money will get you women. Emotional intelligence will get you a happy and healthy long-term relationship after you get a woman. But emotional intelligence won't get you women.

Most jobs that put your lives at risk/destroy your aren't honorable. But they have to pretend like they are to get men to do them and keep generating profit off your bodies until they're done with you and throw you out.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 06:26 PM

As other commenters have said, plenty of jobs destroy your health and/or put your life at risk. The difference is that society decides that some exploitation is degrading while other exploitation is honorable. It's all about perception, which is what "sex work is work" is trying to change. Choosing to be a sex worker should be seen as a career choice. Sex/creating sexual content is a service people can choose to provide. It's not that deep.

Socialism won't change anything. It doesn't matter what political system you have when the people on top are greedy/corrupt. It's not the system that's the problem, it's humans.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 01:01 AM

It's definitely work for many. Some are exploited, some are working in the field by choice and are happy with that choice. It's not more exploitative than a lot of other jobs for a lot of people. This is excluding people that are trafficked.

It's a Christian school and they have their own requirements just like another job would require a certification So you'd be ok with liberals firing people for not agreeing with them? Let's say they label it a "liberal job." Now it's all good? Or if liberals use a very progressive interpretation of christianity to fire conservatives, that's ok?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 11:22 PM
1

I'm just giving you an example of conservatives firing people they don't agree with. It doesn't matter if it's a christian school, Amazon, or a mom and pop shop down the street. Firing someone for not meeting your religious standards or political views is all the same. Believing in sky daddy doesn't make it any more right or wrong, nor does it justify it.

It doesn't matter how much money you have. It matters how much you spend on her. She's not gonna care if you're a billionaire if you won't marry her/spend money on her. Money is only attractive if it's shared.

Like the christian school that just fired a teacher for getting pregnant out of wedlock? Damn leftists....
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 02:08 AM

I think what she means is she finds men that call themselves alpha males toxic, which is different. I think an actual "alpha male" knows better than to call themselves that. They're just gonna be a confident person.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 05:18 AM

Yep. People are finally free to marry for whatever reason they want and leave whenever they want. Humans aren't naturally monogamous so this is what you get.

Those are the ones making exorbitant amounts of money. Your average sex worker doing it by choice is 100% not making exorbitant amounts of money. Go to r/SexWorkerSupport if you wanna get a more realistic idea of what it's like. Most sex workers (that aren't exploited/trafficked) make very average amounts of money.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 02:47 AM
1

Yeah, it's stupid. Lots of sex workers work by choice and don't feel exploited. It's weird how some people will go out of their way to victimize people that aren't victims.

Lol they still choose to do it. There are many other jobs not to mention ways of saving money to get out of these situations. If you take out all jobs that exploit people you're left with like three jobs. I'm on your side about sex workers and their clients, but we all need better worker's rights, including sex workers, which desperately need legalization so the exploitation/abuse of legal workers can be reduced.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 01:42 AM
