Which version of this girl do you love? The version you "think" she is? Or the real version? Cos, I imagine, the version in your head that you thought you were dating wouldn't cheat on you. And yet, here you are being cheated on.... Allow yourself to grieve over the version of her you thought you were dating and dump the real version of her that cheated on you and made it your fault.

You don't have time to train a puppy? You do realise children need more time, attention and "training" than dogs? If you don't have time to give a dog, how were you expecting to give time to a child?

This feels like a troll post to be honest. "I've been dating a woman for a long time but will never marry her" Then why are you with her? "She can't give me what I want and need". What can't she give you and again, why have you been with her so long and are still with her? Marriage isn't everything but at the same time the attitude of someone who can say - I've been with this person for ages but I don't want to spend the rest of my life with her - it's kind of conceited in my opinion. But let's …

I treat exercise machines like urinals. Always have at least 1 between you and the next person and if there's a large line of empty ones and 1 person is on the end, go between the halfway point and 2/3 away, but never the complete opposite end as that just looks too obvious you're creating distance. Gotta make it look natural...

I'm afraid to say, we're currently at the 4 legs good, 2 legs better part of the story. You'll need to wait a while longer for men to have had enough to storm the farmhouse of feminism.

I'm kind of disappointed in the amount of negative as well as bigoted comments in this thread. Starting to feel a little bit red pill-esque... One of the things I've always liked previously in the mensrights subreddit is that if you're discussing men's rights then it hasn't really bothered about the gender of the poster or the commenters. There are a good few supportive comments in here but way to many are self righteous, self absorbed or down right hateful/transphobic. I've been noticing this i…

Well by that argument, then this whole post discussing rape of men by women is null and void, as the government says in its response there is legislation covering sexual assault in relation to men so defining it by rape is not necessary.

Also, apparently a women can't rape another woman under these definitions. You'd think they'd at least define it better to deal with that aspect.

Just another example of the patriarchy and how much control the men have over them.

She was already losing and from what i recall the opposing player seemed to change her game and let her win the next round. Then changed back and promptly kicked her ass. So the points she lost meant nothing to an already lost game.

It's fine to be happy being circumcised. It's the hypocrisy regarding circumcision that is usually frowned upon. If you're ok with male circumcision then you should be ok with female circumcision. As it's the same thing. Cutting off a part of a babies genitals for cultural reasons. There are no aesthetic or health reasons for it. Aesthetics are dictated by cultural norms. Some cultures like the look of woman's vulvas with the labia cut off for instance. If you're not ok with female genital mutil…

The sidebar of this very subreddit states that all opinions are welcome and advocates free speech. Femenists are welcome as long as they do not be discourteous which she was not in her original comment. Since when have i been a femenist? Never, but even if i had been that shouldn't be an issue in this sub. This is men's rights and not anti women or femenism. Feminism is not inherently a problem in the same way that religion is not an issue, until such time as extremists get hold of it. I would e…

I'm gonna thank you for your words since no one else has here and you've had to respond to people reacting and thinking like the extremist femenists they hate. As a father of both boys and girls as well as a husband to a lovely woman, the rights of both men and women are important to me. Both sexes have things to fight for and often those things cross over into mutual territory. I'd advocate being careful of the terminology you use in a men's rights subreddit as there are some very angry people …

Not defending at all but, studies take time and money. Often studies are done small scale to prove it disprove a hypothesis and see if it holds enough merit to warrant further study. Sometimes the smaller study gives overwhelming leaning towards one answer to the question which would hint at that being the general case. When dealing with people and social groups though the variables are so vast though that even with an overwhelming leaning towards one answer it may just be in that particular are…

There are extremes in every thing. If you judged Christianity in the westboro Baptist church then you'd be justified in saying it's a hate filled disgusting religion that serves no purpose than to demonise the world into hell. If you judged Muslims on the extremists that attack and blow up others then you'd say the whole religion is full of people wearing bombs and looking for an opportunity to kill us all. Feminism is supposed to be about equality and focusing on those inequalities that face wo…

I think men have there own share of small societal issues ingrained too. Just as some women issues are severe. There's no black and white. There's improvements in both cases to improve the rights of men and women and get better equality. There still seems at times to be a 1 step forward, 2 steps back. At times the issues are mutual but still get divided. Abortion rights for instance focus on the perspective of the woman, ignoring the fact that it takes 2 to tango and there's a potential dad who …

What a weird read. As i got to the "white cis male" part i thought, 'surely this wasn't written by a black woman?' and lo and behold La Sha is indeed a strong black woman. It reads like some tumblrina grew up and managed to land a job at Huffpost and is speaking the same sexist and racist vitriol they could on tumblr. I do have a similar belief that entitled westerners going to countries like North Korea and breaking the laws shows a level of entitlement and stupidity. However i don't think it h…

I always get confused in these cases. If he isn't the father then surely someone is. So why do the mothers not just go to the real father to try and get child support? Why continue to ask the guy you cheated on? So many cases like this but this is the first I've seen that the courts stood up for the man.

"MPs overwhelmingly agreed Ms Ghani should be granted leave to introduce the Bill, with Mr Davies the lone voice objecting." Seems it didn't do much good. Nice someone is fighting for equality for men and women in these issues but it's a shame they're getting outvoted on it.

Holding the door for people is a nice thing to do and should be taught. Gender shouldn't really come into it. I generally hold the door for people regardless of their sex. both girls and boys should be taught the merits if door holding for others. As an extreme case; teaching boys to hold doors for girls means Boys never get the door held open for them Girls never hold the door open for anyone. Boys/boys no Boys/girls yes Girls/boys no Girls/girls no So in this extreme example only 1 in 4 intera…

Spend money saving more lives....... Good idea, give it to boys too then. That'll save more lives than not giving it to them.

I am a male support worker. In one of my first jobs I was told that you respect dignity of clients as much as possible staff of the same sex as the client would provide personal care etc. If that wasn't possible then another staff member had to be present. I took it as granted and upheld it all the time, for my own safety from false accusations like this if anything. It was actually a policy written into the handbook that all staff must follow. The other staff members did not. They were all fema…

This is a topic close to my heart and quite important to me. I'm currently fighting my ex for the right to speak to my children more regularly. Despite already having a court order saying I should get regular telephone contact and set days of visits. She apparently thinks a sporadic day once or twice a month for 20 minutes is enough to speak to all 4 of my children. I could almost understand if I'd been an Asshole of a partner or father but I really wasn't. We had our problems like any couple bu…

Gay = attracted to adults of same sex Heterosexual = attracted to adults of opposite sex Paedophile = attracted to children Putting a gay person or heterosexual in charge of same or opposite sex children does not mean they are going to abuse them. By that argument you should not be allowed near your own children and nor should any parent with their own children. There's a point where being cautious becomes discrimination and ergo illegal. You are within your right to demand whatever sex person y…
