You're wrong. OLD made women's standards even HIGHER. As someone who's often regarded as handsome, dating has become an almost impossible uphill battle. And I'm convinced it has translated to real life. I can hit it off with a woman after meeting her but getting her on a date is like winning the lottery. And some of these women I've later found on the apps. They overvalue themselves while OLD worsens the self esteem of men.

I don;t think anyone truly understands how massive the change on society OLD will be. Plenty of men are already aware because we are living it week in and week out. Month in and month out. Year in and year out. I used to be with an attractive young woman who was fit. She took care of herself and was cute on top of in shape. In the 6 years since that relationship ended, I've met dud after dud of potential partner. Had some sex but dating has been an absolute drag. It's so hard to get women on dat…

Just proof of how disgusting human beings can be.

Unfortunately that's already the case. If you express that you're lonely, people use it as a reason to insult you. It happens here on Reddit and I've experienced it. I'm actually surprised that more of my fellow brothers aren't commiting violent acts. It seems like we are heading down a path where more violence is inevitable.

From a fellow man - thank you for this - and I agree with all of it.

The first three. Good luck. I've tried. I don't have time. Eating healthy often requires you to cook. Cooking takes time. I try to balance my diet but it's extremely difficult because this is an up and go world. Working out takes time. I don't get enough sleep. I've tried. I can't. I cannot get 8 hours of sleep no matter what I do. If you work 40+ hours a week - good luck. Drink 8 glasses of water. Get 8 hours of sleep. Brush and floss and take care of your teeth. Cook healthy meals. Work out. G…

I disagree. There's plenty of women who don't have the looks. These women get on an app and any guy swipes on them and they think they're a fucking 8. You're a 5 sweetheart. Don't get it twisted. On the other hand, I've met plenty of good looking dudes. It ain't just looks for fuck's sake.

Yeah. Just get 8 hours of sleep. Drink 8 glasses of water. Have a work life balance. Work out. Do this or do that all so some woman who only has pussy to offer can consider you worthy... It's not that I think self improvement is a bad goal. Not at all. I just think it's bullshit that I have to do everything fucking perfect to be worthy to women at all. What does SHE have to offer me, huh? Let's flip this shit on its side. She isn't special just because she has a vagina. And yeah, a man who doesn…

The problem re; where to approach women is every woman has a different idea of where it is and isn't acceptable to approach. If you listen to everyone, you will get an all-encompassing list of literally everywhere. Yup. And even men will tell you where and where not to look. Fuck that. I wouldn't have had involvement with most of the women I've met if I followed people's advice. I'll March to the beat of my own drum.

It's literally easier for women to find someone. I have a coworker. And she literally was talking to 5 guys at once. All from online. Meanwhile I've been on and off the apps for years and only met one person. Man do I hate the apps.

No men hating in here.

Absolutely. The conversation is what matters.

Is it not handling the rejections that's the hard part? Especially in a public setting.

Is it really what this comes down to? I have a really hard time approaching women myself. Too in my head I think and so it gets really hard to get the conversation somewhere productive for the two (or more) of us. Having a good conversation is really my #1 goal in the interaction. It's the feeling of "I don't know what I should say" and the feeling like I'm struggling to find the words to say. A friend told me you have to start with small talk. And it makes sense. I think maybe subconsciously, I…

Well we can't attribute all to the whole. I'm certainly closer to a liberal but I don't fall into all lines of party issues.

You're really gonna turn this into conservative vs liberal? It shouldn't be. These are human conflicts. Not political conflicts.

You used to be able to ask coworkers out but #metoo really killed that idea You still can and I have before and even recently. But I also work somewhere that has high turnover. So the odds of it going south where I work are much lower.

Are we really doing this? It's so dumb to assign an entire individual belief to an entire group. You can be left or right and have varying beliefs about things. People need to get off the internet a bit and go out in the real world. My coworker voted for both Obama and Trump. People like this seriously exist in the real world.

Nah. Our well being is shit. Quit lying to people. Processed food is cheaper here and we don't guarantee anyone with paid time off or sick leave. The wealthy get the socialism in this country. Everyone else gets rugged individualism. Our system is ripe fucking trash.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
