Maybe he wants you guys to be friends again for whatever reason. Maybe he wants (to create an illusion of) social proof by posting pics with other people on social media. Maybe he's just being a dick and wants to annoy you. The narcissists I have had in my life over the years were very needy and couldn't handle being rejected by their friends.
