I suspect your definition of masculinity is way different than mine. Toxic masculinity is most prevalent in the absence of masculinity. The "toxic masculinity" of boys raised in single mother households is off the charts. Can you see how the term is actually victim blaming? It suggests it's the boys fault rather than the fault of the mother who raised them without a father.

Talking about it is what is required to change attitudes. Uh no. They "talk" about it because they want to look like they care. Get back to me when they start shaming women who judge virgin men. I mean they are happy publicly shaming men who sit with their legs a bit too wide for a woman's liking. Happy publicly shaming men who date younger women. Etc etc.

Boys who come from cultures where being told to sit the fuck down rather than this boys will be boys mentality do much better. See Asians for more details. Toxic masculinity, yes. Isn't it funny that the western feminist controlled education system = toxic masculinity. You do realise Asian culture is heavily patriarchal right?

Or he understands how it works in practice since he has been part of the hiring process for a long time.

Of course. Women are allowed to ruin their marriages. In the same way that a husband has the right to ignore and refuse to talk to his wife. In both cases though you can't turn around and play the victim if your husband/wife divorces you.

Also negates the fact that 2 boys are just as different as a random boy and girl. Studies have shown this Can you cite the studies? It is certainly not the case in adults but maybe the differences become pronounced in puberty and so it is true for young boys?

Both genders are equally capable of being evil shits. Different kinds of evil shits that need different strategies to counter.

Your example can easily be explained by the men having a better fundamental/internalised understanding of math and so need more time to adjust their mental model. Nothing to do with linear/non-linear or holistic thinking.

All it does take is 1 hit. Including a hit from someone smaller and weaker than you. If you keep attacking someone they are completely justified in using physical force to defend themselves.

Is that really true? I see 10x as many soccer moms driving fancy SUVs than I do men driving sports cars. And I see far more men cycling and taking public transport. I'd love to see a proper comparison.

The fact you cannot seem to understand this and denigrate what is a common male experience I think he is annoyed because you are suggesting it's not a problem that women get all the leave because they have a better innate connection. I think that is a very harmful view (both to fathers and to children) Let's, for the sake of argument, accept that it is true women have more of a connection. I'd argue it is important to a child's development that they have a connection with both parents. I'd also …

My wife is full of empathy and caring. I am not. I had no connection to our child when he was born. You think that connection is some kind of innate thing? It comes from spending time with and focusing on your baby. Something your wife has been doing for months during her pregnancy. This is why it is far more important for the man to take leave to spend time with his new born.

We could talk about how men are the implied gender Ok.... lets talk. When an article states 47 people were killed by an oppressive regime do you really think the average person is thinking "Oh those poor 47 men..."? Please stop taking concepts way out of context.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
