This is why MRAs aren't taken seriously. It's often talked only when there is some women's issue. There aren't any vocal MRAs in India. The politicians are still boomer sexists

Then contest that my friend. You say Indian Judiciary is bad and laws are against men. Contest it in court. That's what happening anyway. If you agree that Indian system is bad then you gotta understand how many men or even women face issues as their sexual abuse is not given justice. Fight that. Not this. MRAs here aren't against equal rights. We fight that. We aren't against marital rape being illegal. If these people really wanted that they would run these hash tags not just when women's righ…

I don't think anybody here is objecting to having laws that explicitly ensure marital rape is illegal. Oh sweet summer child. https://twitter.com/MNageswarRaoIPS/status/1480874106757148672 there are many. when it comes to proof of consent, the same problem applies to rape too right. So why not classify it as rape. The proof of consent rules need to be adjusted. for that there is no Bill made even for it to be modified or passed. Also no govt is willing to even acknowledge male rape or abuse. So …

Well the problem is no politician here cares about either case. This particular case is been fought in the Supreme Court to which certain politicians and people have reacted. They say consent is granted forever after marriage and making marital rape illegal would break Indian culture. This is not MRAs stand for. On the other hand, no one yet comes our to fight for rape of men being legal and those who do don't get enough attention. That's a serious issue. This is about people fighting in court a…

This particular hash tag is because of that. These people aren't Mraz or anything. They are vile. They say making marital rape illegal would break Indian culture. Consent is forever given after marrying according to them. You don't wanna associate then with MRAs.

Agreed 100% but this is about marital rape being legal in India

But the case going is about rape being legal if they are married. That's what spewed this whole thing

Wait but the post is about marital rape. The hash tag was a reaction to a case which is advocating for making aw for marital rape in India.

The TOI article does have some context about this. Possible this might the school of thought then by feminists here(most of them are mostly really old so not really progressive) eg. There is a comedy show where the judge is a leader in the region and talks women rights but still cracks sexist colorist remarks so yeah that type. So yeah I can expect such things here. Also gay sex is legal in India since few years now.

I agree with you completely. Except the tech killing jobs. Yes it does kill lower level jobs, but it makes new jobs in tech itself. Until we achieve complete automation there will always be enough new jobs created. But they would need more education. So rather than focusing of ubi we should fund more in education. That should be affordable by all. Vox has a series on YouTube called glad you asked. That has a basic explanation on this. Otherwise you are 100% correct. Ubi would just make the poor …

I kinda get your point now. We need to have more studies on how men react to stuff differently and work on it effectively. My point was to say it's okay for men to cry. It's been a real hard time for me or my buddies to cry out our pain and its does help when you are in a safe space. Let's says this doesn't completely solve the problem but yes it definitely helps a lot of people to express their feelings

what I found- Because xpost from a feminism post idky one guy thinks emotions aren't good this is a manipulative post men have different emotions apparently

It misses out the point. Why are female lead countries doing better? They have a better economy, fewer people, density is far less, people are progressive. Do these things have anything to do with gender? NO Though the article is true, it fails to project the actual reasons and so do the people reading it. It's like saying, Animals with beaks fly. Yes, the statement is true. But the actual underlying reason is those animals have wings and feathers.

I mean they can have whatever they want, you just can't run a successful venture where 50% of the population is not even willing to visit your restaurant. No matter how much they hate men, they gotta have a fair service to have profits.

Its just a generalization imo. Like we say Americans are dumb. Its just a generalization and exaggeration of a point. She saying I Hate all men its because she faced some problems like maybe catcalling primarily from some men and like she is expressing the anger in an exaggerated form like we generally do.

For those cases its simple no men don't have to pay their share. Its wasn't consensual sex in the first place

in Normal cases probably not. giving it a thought, if any parent has found a way to giving the kid a better way a living they should be allowed to do so. So if the husband doesn't want to give the kid of adoption the wife would not be allowed to give it for adoption. After birth every right should be equal. Only during pregnancy, women have the sole right because they are carrying the baby IMO. Before conception and after birth both have equal rights and responsibilities.

obviously not. If they already had an agreement on contraceptives, not using it should illegal. same goes with when a guy gets raped he shouldn't be asked to pay for child care. Thats dumb af
/r/MensRights17/08/20 08:18 AM

isn't that considered rape then? like that's equivalent of lying about contraceptives
/r/MensRights17/08/20 08:05 AM
-23

true how do you stop pregnancy? Use contraceptives right?
/r/MensRights17/08/20 07:21 AM

What do you mean by partake? He had sex without contraceptives. Now he has equal responsibilities on the CHILD and not the WOMAN. So a woman can CHOOSE to not have the baby and abort because she is carrying it.
/r/MensRights17/08/20 07:11 AM
-62

NO It's not unfair. Abortion isn't easy. It's a difficult choice for women. I agree about lying about contraceptives is wrong. Other than that once both have had sex without contraceptives, expect pregnancy and WOMEN HAVE COMPLETE RIGHTS ON THEIR BODY TO ABORT. SHE IS CARRYING IT. EDIT: Why do people forget that pregnancy is a consequence of sex without contraceptives? Like what were you expecting after that?

Yo why can't we just have a talk and come up with solutions catering to all the groups? Wouldn't that solve this issue much quickly?

In Punjab, woman are significantly less likely to be educated normally. In these conditions people stop education their girls. This was to support such girls education

conscription and unfair divorce laws should be changed. anyone objecting that is sexist and wrong. regarding child support, extreme cases like rape/ or unknowing cases should be also considered. As far as I know women do have to pay her half for child support. But yes the extreme cases should be fair

Then what's the problem here? Sorry I am not from USA or UK, Am I missing something?
/r/MensRights19/07/20 05:46 PM

Yeah so she would also have to pay her half for the child support
/r/MensRights19/07/20 05:24 PM

I am not from UK or USA so I don't know the exact rules. But after birth yes I believe both parents should have equal say on the kid, provide it doesn't harm the kid. Child support is for the kid. If it's my kid I ought to be responsible for their good. And even if I realise its not my genetic kid, I won't lose love for him suddenly. Though the relationship with the wife would probably end

Look, abortion laws should be decided by women. Coz they carry it. In most cases stuff is normal and mutual. In extreme cases like lying about birth control and holes in condom and all, men should probably have a say that it wasn't planned pregnancy and hence I deny giving my sperm or something. Like this should be allowed for a man to say within like one month of confirmed conception.
/r/MensRights19/07/20 03:55 PM
4

Yeah, hence I said better rape laws. Provisions like men can opt out within one month of confirmation of conception of sorts
/r/MensRights19/07/20 03:51 PM

Because he had sex without protection... What was you expecting? A plasma tv?
/r/MensRights19/07/20 03:18 PM
7

Yeah you are correct. Women have a choice on the baby while birth, because they are literally carrying it. They have the right to choose abortion because they have to deal with the suffering. Abortion isn't always safe of the women either. So men can't really have a say during pregnancy. After birth both are responsible. If having a baby is a problem, don't have sex without protection? Also we have to have better laws with rape towards males too tbh.
/r/MensRights19/07/20 03:16 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
