| 3 | Do things work for 40 year olds?I (45F) think you will do just fine. I'm single and dating, totally sufficient and content without a man in my life, but I definitely enjoy life more with one. Biggest things from my perspective is: 1. Is he jaded by life? - At this age, you've probably experienced one or some of the bigger heartbreaks in life (death/illness/divorce).
