Why?

I mean most men want women to be sluts, or at least I do. I actually make sure I hi-five my female friends when they have sex or romantic interactions and things. I just want them to feel comfortable doing whatever it is that they want to do. Moreover the only time I have felt like a woman is/was a slut was when she would sleep with guys one after the other (like a new one every month) but the reason I felt that she was a slut was because she was using them and would have them buy her things or …

I am particularly fond of the 'a survey found', knowing full well that I can manipulate both the questions I present, the way I present my data and the way I ask my questions and who I ask. For example if I ask after/outside a 'take back the night' rally, I'm going to get a very high rate of sexual assault victims, whereas if I ask after a law lecture I'm going to get a very different result.

I do think while this IS sarcastic there is a small amount of truth to it. I think relational breakdowns are the fault of both parties. I'm not saying there isn't sometimes that there is more fault on one party or another. But if you both work at it you could make it work, but often both choose to not.

I was onboard with the video from reading the title, but really, I think what is most important about being a men's rights activists is that we don't pontificate and marginalis, devalue and dehumanise women. This is what I at least hate the most about a lot of the feminist movement. I think we can do better than just being the anti-feminists, we can walk alongside our fellow (hu)man but still speak and educate about our issues that we face. I really feel like these VLOG's that are just angry and…

I have no problem with this, in fact more power to them. I agree there are likely many ways that women are oppressed by society. However if you are going to pretend that feminism is about anything other than advancing the female agender I'll take issue with you. And if you say you are for gender equality I'll point out the ways that women get the better end of the pineapple. Let's be real for a moment, everyone get's a pineapple, some are bigger than others, some are more spiky, but everyone get…

I could maybe buy this if it was just straight males that were left out but gay men, seriously, I don't even understand why a group that is anti-oppression would be oppressing any members of society be them straight or gay or anything. How can we know if we have gone too far and are now oppressing the once oppressors if we don't have an avenue or mechanism to ensure they are not being oppressed. Particularly given much of the oppression faced today is not deliberate or active oppression but rath…

If I have sex with someone because I want to please them, then I have wanted sex, sure I don't get any direct gratification from that act but I do get the indirect gratification of it. Why do people give oral sex, they can't say that they enjoy the stimulation of their mouth/tongue. They/I might get a slight direct gratification from it but for the most part it is indirect, I know I am pleasing someone that I want to please.

Um, I take your point, and I don't KNOW the statistics well enough to refute what you are saying. However I would expect/suspect that it is not the case, abortions have gotten safer at a greater rate than childbirth. Keep in mind we are looking at a 50 or so year period. But I take you point.

A while ago I did a through experiment on this topic. And while I would be cautious about advocating this position, there is some logic to a position that require both parties to a child to provide informed consent; to do otherwise is putting the rights of one gender above the other. The argument against this is something along the lines of 'men consent to the consequences of sex when they consent to having sex', but you could also reverse this and just as easily make the assumption that 'women …

But that's not the point. It's some what disjointed to say we want women to be able to be topless anytime anywhere and here is a thing to facilitate that, oh but the anytime is without any men being around. I further don't consider the argument of 'I feel comfortable with 50 strange women but not with men'.

This is very much not a fair assent of the positions of feminists. I think the best method is to read published works and examine the discussion points raised there. Debates are unfair because (if you are good at least) you can manipulate your opposition into talking ridiculous positions by moving where the debate truly is concerned. Moreover the whole point of the debate is to make the argument against the other side rather than truly engaging. As to thoe that have poo-pooed the Oxford debating…

I am not settled on the idea that Feminism is about equal rights. Or at very least it is not any longer about equal rights. But the very nature of the name alone it is about feminine rights, while yes there are many aspects where they do need advancing this doesn't lend itself towards equality one the whole. I much prefer the terms Equalism / Equalist or Equalitarianism / Equalism. These better reflect the nature of the position.

You lived on the property enacting the live on the property, at no time was the prenuptial enacted until the devoice. In one case the prenuptial is simply remaining dormant (like a what happens if) in the other case the lease agreement is active because you are living on the property, the marriage is also active because both parties are engaging in the marriage.

I doubt that would fly here in Australia, and it really shouldn't in the US, what should be evaluated is: Is the person intending to be legally bound by this agreement. Is the agreement against any Laws at the time of agreement. Duress really shouldn't be an issue here as they obviously intend to be bound by the agreement, otherwise the man doesn't want to get married. By extension of the logic the mirage could be not legally binding as the man only intended to enter in to the mirage under the p…

This is an example that I have recently looked at in contract Law while not criminal law I'm certain the same principles would apply. “actual” versus “constructive” knowledge – what you actually knew versus what you should have known. The can also apply to what you feel for the issue of coercion, what you felt versus what you should have felt. Or what a reasonable person would have felt. I would be interested to see what the response to the original thread is like.

I wouldn't suggest pressing charges as this could inflame the situation, perhaps a strongly worded letter from a solicitor could persuade her to change her tune. I would simply have a chat to a solicitor and see what they think. See a few solicitors many will have a 'the first hour is free' policy to attract clients, go with one that you feel comfortable with.

I think many men are aware of the risks that are involved in being in a relationship and having sex. I feel that many men are aware of the risks but are too afraid of them to admit them to themselves or allow them to think about them, for this reason I think this is not calculated or measured. I think men tend to ignore the consequences because the truth would make it far too difficult to have relationships. Additionally when the risks are in front of mind they are often viewed as being a part o…

I do think that it is a bit tough to be put in the situation where you have been mislead and suddenly find your self asked questions you have no intention of answering. I have always contested this idea, my girlfriend and I both get really drunk and have sex, we both (while, prior and after being drunk) consent to having sex. However according to this logic we have both been raped; can we both be charged, should we both go to prison (each for the same amount of time?). This logic simply can not exist, yet it is drummed into men everywhere.

I get nit-picky about this too, I spend 15 minuets beating my girlfriend for calling it the mothers room... Thank you, I honestly think the biggest issue facing our population (I am from Australia and am talking about our population however I am most cretin it would translate across) is mental health. I am sure if you look into the statics you will find that suicide is ranked quite highly. If someone is misled into having sex it can be viewed as rape. I remember a man was prosecuted for rape because he ticked a woman into thinking sex was a life saving treatment (and he had her pay him $15,000 for it). The rape charges were quashed because it was resalable that the woman should have known that sex is not a medical treatment. He however was found guilty for defrauding her.

I really think that the trash talk has gone too far, I can only hope that we take more of a stand against the level of trash talking. Perhaps Nintendo will show everyone else how you can manage it so people are not quite such vulgar dicks. I honestly do not play online much because of this 'trash talk'. When I play with my friends yeah I will trash talk... but it is things like 'BOOM head shoot' and 'oh I am sorry had you just spawned'.

Follow up question is there something more pointed that you can call a person that is a 'man hater' and is overly in support for woman's rights. misogynist comes to mind when women are involved. edit: Wikipedia is brilliant Misandry!
