Military Members are also have some of the highest rates of sexual assault, per the military's own findings. So let's not give them all a pass as being harmless.

For anyone who actually wants to discuss; Differences in Frequency of Violence and Reported Injury Between Relationships With Reciprocal and Nonreciprocal Intimate Partner Violence is where the 70% of non-reciprocated violence stat comes from. I couldn't find a scholastic source for the assault or harassment of law enforcement officers. I will point out that its listed as assault OR harassment, which is exceptionally convoluted way of discussing that. We obviously measure those two things as com…

Their separate legal entities (filed separately) and separate contracted salaries. It violates US law - especially payroll law - to try and use salaries from various holdings coupled together when they're filed individually. For example if you worked for Nat Geo and your worked for Fox News they don't get to say "Well its owned by Rupert Murdoch's holdings so we get to combined your salaries as consideration" EVEN IF Murdoch parent company transfers funds between them. The USSF will probably los…
/r/PussyPassDenied01/08/19 02:52 PM

Yes, separate entities, but not separate costs IMO. USSF subsidizes NWSL by paying the USWNT players’ league salaries. They pay no such league salaries for men playing in MLS. Their separate contracts mate, and separate filed entities. They are both paid for the by the USSF but so is, say, National Geographic and Fox News. If I worked for Fox News, but then did freelance work for NatGeo neither side can be say "Well Murdoch owns both, so we get to use the combined salary to determine what you ge…

The lawsuit (which I'm going to assume you haven't read) is by the USWNT about the USWNT. Their contracts for the NWSL (not USWL) are separate and not part of the lawsuit.
/r/PussyPassDenied01/08/19 02:43 PM

It includes their NWSL Salaries and costs, which is a separate entity from the USWNT. Ummm Did you guys even read it or did you just see the word audit and take it as absolute.
/r/PussyPassDenied31/07/19 10:57 PM
2

It isn’t. They added the NWSL salaries into their calculations and that’s a separate entity than the USWNT. Like if I said I could pay you less because you have a second job. It’s pretty clear from this that they confident they’ll lose their lawsuit.
/r/PussyPassDenied31/07/19 10:55 PM

Lmao they tell you they make that much bc people lie buddy, not because she’s actually making 10k a month.
/r/PussyPassDenied31/07/19 10:53 PM

I know this is the wrong forum for factual debate, but I wanted to point out that this includes their N.W.S.L. salaries. The USWNT is a separate entity and doesn’t pay the NWSL salaries. Like if I told I didn’t have to give you a raise because you have a second job. I don’t really agree with the soccer players stance, but this was super shady of the USWNT and likely done because they are losing their court battle and public perception campaign.

Its saying "Switzerland's wealth from WWII was independently gained and has nothing to do with the incomprehensible amount of money and gold Hitler stored in their banks." Your metaphor as inaccurate as it was horribly unrepresentative. They should probably add that back to the SATs so the rest of us don't have to deal with it.
/r/PussyPassDenied12/06/19 06:24 PM

Yes it does. As is explained concisely above. You can't say you did everything independently when your ability to even access your chance at being independently is predicated on a group of people affording you that opportunity.

Which is all nice and good - and her premise is absolutely sound - but it completely ignores the history of women allowing to practice law. She starts her argument off as "When I was a lawyer, and later a judge" but she was only allowed to be a lawyer and judge because of the first wave feminists who fought for that being legal. Her argument that individualism is better is great, but her ability to act independently in the legal sector was because of a consented group effort to allow women into …

You want me to cite my opinion of you? That doesn't make any sense. I think you are racist. I'm not claiming a scientific body went out, measured your racism, and determined you to be categorically racist. I think, in this context, based off the words you said, your motivation to comment is race oriented. I think this because you're blatantly lying about there being scientifically backed data as to why black women are less attractive, as a group, than all other women. You made up science because…

If the nuclear family was dependent on having women be second class citizens, removing them from power, then it wasn't a great system to begin with. It guarantees that 51% of the population (the women born into nuclear family) are guaranteed to be indentured. It's the same shitty argument for slavery used. So before you bitch about having a good rebuttal start by putting out a legitimate argument jackass

The British (specifically) have been either occupying, invading, or puppet-stating middle eastern countries since the 1700s. When their empiricism ended, the United States took over. Their culture for hatred of the west is rooted in over 300 years of military activity. Just wanted that historical context out there. Not that it forgives terrorist activity - it sincerely doesn't - but also you reap what you sow, so I'm not surprised.

While I don't particularly like codified gender quotas, how do you reconcile the disadvantages minority populations have? Surely by now with all the hate for these laws there are alternative ideas, or does this sub not believe that minority populations/women have disadvantages from previous economic and societal disclusion?

Ayyyy dumb comments are the best ones. You don't seem to understand how or what probable cause is. Probable cause for arrest exists when facts and circumstances within the police officer's knowledge would lead a reasonable person to believe that the suspect has committed, is committing, or is about to commit a crime. Probable cause must come from specific facts and circumstances, rather than simply from the officer's hunch or suspicion. Please point to the probable cause in this situation.

Multiple reasons. It could be its own criminal law. No reason not to make a specific law about a specific crime. Sex Offender lists already have issues with soft area laws; adding to this will make it worse. An example would be peeing in a closed playground after hours could land you on the sex offender list. Consent laws are already hazy, adding a permanent list to it is a recipe for abuse and disaster. Adjacent crimes could then qualify for sex offenders list, so its a slippery slope. Lying ab…

You understand that subsequent presidents supported public sector collective bargaining, like John Kennedy, as well as other public figures like Wagner. That's also part of American History. Its almost like people recognized the importance of collective bargaining over the 130 years since the first public sector union was formed.

Except that if you've read or listened to any academia on the topic they all overwhelmingly agree that the gender pay gap has a gendered component to it. For example Jordan Peterson, whom these types of subreddits idolize, agrees that gendering is prevalent to varying degrees based off of industry and numerous other factors. But your I'm-14-and-so-smart interpretation is good too, I guess.
