Correct, and Sweden fully commits to the first option, the Netherlands the second, and both camps agitate each other over it because of how they conceptualize "liberation from the patriarchy" and how the others betrays that concept. For the record, I'm in support of legalization, simply for the fact that prosecuting sex work is how you get pimps, and I don't like pimps.

Oh, I think we misunderstand each other then: By reputation, American feminists are all abusive loonies, and the kinda legislation that derives from them are referred to as "American antics". Come to think of it, they don't play nice with most other feminists from other countries, the Swedes come to mind with how they treat sex work and they constantly throw down.

Example - yogurt is sold in glass jars. Where?! Yoghurt belongs in cartons, just like other dairy! On a more serious note, Dutch feminism is much more sex positive overall and look at American feminists as "those kinda feminists", their history is much different as are their spearpoints.

One solution could be that the army offers conscripts training in non-combat skills as well, such as ICT, basic engineering, medical, management qualities and so on. I don't like conscription as a practice, but if you're gonna do it to people, make it worth their while.

We truly live in the strangest timeline. Not holding my breath though, but the subreddit does seem to chave against feminist ideas on fair occasion, posts like these enable the non-feminists to speak out without directly attracting the ire of the biased moderators.

Only if one is allowed to hold that as leverage, not prosecuted or ostracized for spousal neglect if they think of doing so. Besides, most of traditional courtship is proving your nurturing skills and generosity, eliminating the, at least initially, coercive prospects.

Its such a stunted look at "traditionally masculine" too, vulnerability is an integral part of the concept of courage, sensitivity (especially to women and children) ties into courteous and gentlemanly behavior, and caretaking has generally taken the shape of mentorship, guardianship and physical healing. (Wound care has almost always been a predominantly male occupation) Their entire frame of reference is completely off tilt.

I would offer this suggestion: Imagine the world before creating your characters, you need a social environment for them to grow up in, ingrain values in them and for them to reflect upon. What is their social status and job? What is their upbringing? To what extent do their social norms make sense to them? If you play it right it'll do half the work for you.

The mods of Menslib are well-intentioned, I think, and they are willing to review criticism regarding their methods as long as it doesn't criticize feminism because they fear to become an "MRA-sub". I think they have yet to realize that this hypothetical MRA is a boogeyman of their own imagining, as well that any movement that means to advocate for a group of people's wellbeing can afford no loyalties beyond the people it means to help, including ideologies.

I think it also has to do with not attacking the identity of her target audience, that being skeptical feminists. Its much easier to engage them in a framework they already understand and adopted, if you will.
