Because failing to register is a felony and felons dont have voting rights. Therefore you're required to sign up to be allowed to vote. Edit: you could probably get away with it if there's an election the same year as you have to register for the draft, but otherwise you're a wanted criminal with a felony charge.

So I was an automotive technician for nearly a decade before I swapped to sales this year. My experience with German vehicles is: unless you're going to do your own work, and you have a hefty parts budget, never buy a used German car. You lease German vehicles so you have the factory bumper to bumper warranty to cover anything that might go wrong. If you're buying used, domestic brands and Japanese brands are the way to go.

Considering that I just did the math and my girlfriend makes 7% more than my buddies fiance by asking for a raise I'd say it reinforces the fact that the final "unexplained" 5-7% can be explained by the fact that most (not all) women are unwilling to ask for raises whereas men are more likely to ask for more money, and be more aggressive in the initial negotiation as well.

They can't stop you but they can put unenforceable lines in your employment contract that say you can't discuss your salary because at that point you would need to lawyer up to fight them and you probably don't make that much money anyway

The only reason I would personally have a problem with it is that I'm the last male OR female of my family name that can still have children. At least 1 of my children HAS to have my name or it dies. However if I wasn't the last of my namesake then I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Might I add you have a fantastic username. Currently I'm stuck in the "depressed because I can't get a girlfriend, don't go meet people because depressed" vicious cycle. There's many more factors than that, but that's the vicious cycle I'm stuck in. Everything else has a clear end to it.

Actually, as my own form of training, I do parkour around the local university. Great way to stay in shape! I'm just saying, it's cold as hell and a nice indoor gym would be appreciated. I for one would love to go to a gym, but because of my poor self image I'm uncomfortable working out around women, mostly for the fact that I feel incredibly unattractive, and I'm intimidated by the fact that the women in the gym will judge me and shit. Because of that I've always wanted a men's area, a women's area, and a unisex area. However even the notion of having a men's only area immediately gets shot down for being sexist, so I just have to keep looking for a gym...

I know for a fact I'm depressed, however, I can't afford help, and I'm terrible with therapy, back when I could afford it we never got anywhere because whenever the therapist would ask me why I was sad or whatever the only thing I could come up with was "I don't know" and I don't. I have had things in recent history that have made it worse, but it's ruined everything from my love life to my social life to my family life.
