By the way, I appreciate how open minded you are to have this discussion. It's really cool.

Why is it wrong to say "blacks"? Then is it wrong to say "whites"? Have you ever actually met an African American? They are actually from Africa, and now live in America. Some African Americans are white. That is why I mostly use the term "blacks". I am not African, I am an American, and I am black; and white people, they are white.

Students should get scholarships because they are scholars, not because of the color of their skin. When AA is issued, it is spreads the assumption that "African American" individuals need a handicap to get accepted into a university. By doing this, many black students get accepted to universities and end up dropping out because they can't handle the course load. Scholarships are one thing, (I've taken many) but AA is a different story.

That is not true. If you disagree with me, you can have a discussion, But as a black woman who goes to a a very selective university, it is hurtful to think that some people assume that I got into my school based on AA and not my merit.

That's an interesting point; can you define privilege for women? What are your views on black women?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
