They are actually from Africa, and now live in America. Some African Americans are white. That is why I mostly use the term "blacks". When AA is issued, it is spreads the assumption that "African American" individuals need a handicap to get accepted into a university. By doing this, many black students get accepted to universities and end up dropping out because they can't handle the course load.
