My suggestion is to have a frank conversation with a single man that you are friends with but not too close Ask him what the biggest struggles with dating are. It's almost certainly going to come up that he's afraid of looking like a creep or making women uncomfortable. Men are being fed by the shovelful messages that erode their self worth and their sense of safety. Where do you think that's coming from?

No one was trying to trap you with a proposal you didn't want. The way things are working right now is vast discontent for women and men and both sides feeling used in normal gender relations. The system right now is not working. The problem isn't that the wage Gap is smaller, the problem is misandry

But a lot of men are being left behind

How do you say it's not a bad thing and then call it terrifying in the next paragraph? Of course it's a bad thing

I have to agree with you there. When I started looking for a husband my parents were the ones to find him and set us up, I'm really blessed
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 07:06 PM

Women often are just reacting to the moment and not analyzing the endpoints of our decisions. It leads to actions out of line with beliefs and beliefs out of line with wants and wants out of line with needs. So trust me, women as a group are definitely out of line with women as individuals lol. I'm sorry
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 06:54 PM

If you're talking about the imbalance in relationships between women and men I agree it's 'on women' for the imbalance. When they let themselves be used by the communal Chad and then decide to be alone, everyone loses. I'm just pointing out that the best thing a guy can do in this losing game is to offer a real relationship because that's what he really needs
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 06:48 PM

Typically conflated for men. Not women
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 06:40 PM

That means we need RELATIONSHIPS.

It's only fair, feminism eroded the traditional female role and men are suffering trying to maintain their responsibility in a contract that's already broken.

Finally a blue pill comment I agree with lol

My husband is older and we are coming up to our eight year anniversary. I am more in love with him than ever <3
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 05:49 PM

I think it relieves each other's low self confidence. They can overlook their flaws as mens faults because they are 'good enough' for their friends. It's a coping mechanism based on ignoring ones flaws
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 05:42 PM

This isn't pointed out as a fundamental issue often enough. Both genders have very few opportunities to be relaxed together
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 05:26 PM

I cannot prove it but I'm convinced it's true. If there isn't a physical explanation than it is a spiritual one <3

The more relaxed you are before hand, the better, a massage and wine is a great start. Foreplay is key, in our early days my husband would use his fingers and lube for 10-15 minutes before anything else. Even after starting he would still take another 10-15 to get past the entrance properly, he is also on the larger side so it was still painful but manageable. The good news is that it gets easier and more enjoyable the more you engage with it <3
/r/RedPillWomen29/07/24 04:53 PM

Like I said, I do think it's true that women have an in-group bias, I just don't understand why? And if men and women both have such strong influences to conform, why don't men have an in group think like women? Do you really think that shame and violence are the only possible solutions? Is there nothing more positive we can try?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/24 12:01 AM

This was a fascinating read, thank you! A few things I wanted to engage with because there is a lot here: I didn't really follow the logic in the women's socialization section that explains what makes women more prone to group think. I believe it is true I just don't see what that had to do with this section. When you mention again in the next section you say it's a fear of ostracization but in the MEN socialization section is where you mention them being heavily ridiculed and ostracized, so why…

Say it again! My husband was such a natural loving father with our children it gave me a little insecurity with my own maternal instincts early on im embarrassed to admit. I am growing to really despise the mindset of 'all men'. I wish I had been wiser to it more quickly
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/24 08:16 PM

Men are unhappy to be single overall. Why fix the perception of singleness when that's not the root of peoples unhappiness?

Make sure to ask him what he likes, and if he has favorite dishes from family maybe ask for a recipe/tutorial. As you learn to cook ask him for lots of feedback and don't take anything personally, people have wildly different tastes, some love salt and dishes taste bland without a heavy hand for example. When you find recipes follow them exactly. There's often reasons for steps being in the order they are with the words they use Good luck! <3

I second the glass of wine suggestion. In all likelihood this has more to do with anxiety than actual pain, wine will help with both. To OP anal sex might also be a better middle ground for the both of you if you absolutely do not feel able for PIV

If women are getting commitment as often as they want then that means men are getting into relationships at that rate too. So what is there to complain about?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/24 10:03 PM
-2

I don't need to face that rejection rate because I am content being alone until someone with mutual attraction comes along and then we try things out. There may be a chance of life ruining allegations but there is a much higher chance of domestic violence and death for women in heterosexual relationships . I never dealt with such a ridiculous dating stage because The only thing that mattered to either of us was compatibility. I can understand that men are being taken advantage of hand over foot …

We have getting sex on easy mode, that's just not the most important thing in the universe to us Cope
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/24 09:02 PM
3

Fair enough but I think a lot of it is from people who feel entitled to the other gender, and that entitlement comes with a certain pride naturally I can't imagine a man who sees women as naturally, inferior would ever make a choice to become more feminine and vice versa
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/24 08:40 PM
2

Why surprised?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/24 08:27 PM
-2

Of course, more men will say they would switch places, it's not because women have it better, it's because they value commitmentless sex above everything else and you would get that more easily as a woman Women are less likely to trade places, we are used to figuring out how to protect ourselves from predators and I'd give anything not to be one of the delusional sad bitter men I see ranting online. I don't want my entire life to revolve around sex and feel utterly worthless if I don't get it
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/24 08:21 PM

She didn't mention tone? You're a troll lol
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 05:04 PM
2

Sounds like a bunch of users. Again, I watched the same movies as all young adults my age and it was clear to ME that the women in those movies were sexually attracted to the men that they ended up with they were kind usually not there JUST for sex and often the message was 'the girl you were chasing was wrong for you and the nerdy sidekick girl was into you all along!' That doesn't make rapists out of good men. Demonizing women does.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 09:53 PM
4

I absolutely can. The message I see everywhere is to be friends with people of all genders and races, and that if your romance is not predicated on friendship then it is shallow and less valuable Where exactly that turns into friend zone predator messaging? I have no idea. But I watch the same movies growing up as men and I learned to be kind for kindness's sake
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 09:27 PM
9

No I have not noticed this. I think that in general ugly people have less friends, including less fake friends. I find that cool people make pretty cool friends regardless of attractiveness. I think that friend zone predators reap what they sow
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 09:14 PM
7

I agree with that too. That isn't mutually exclusive from thinking you are entitled to a woman's body because you did her favors
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 07:55 PM
21

This sounds very much like 'dont be friends with men unless you will give him your body' Someone is salty they earned nice points and couldn't cash them in for sex I think
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 07:49 PM

Sex communication has a long way to go but it is improving quickly in relative terms. That's what I mean by normalized. Some things ARE messed up, and harmful, and wrong. They are rightfully stigmatized. It has everything to do with sex, and you have changed your stance to agree with me in this part of your post. You don't know if the person you recently started dating is a rape survivor. That's not normalized to share and it shouldn't be. 'Many conversations before that' means that your rape ki…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 03:34 PM

Open honest communication is independent of kinks and is already normalized Some things are messed up. consider that they are messed up for a reason and that is why they are intimate and safe communication with an established partner
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 11:33 PM
1

I can see what you are saying though I would argue that one night stands are a indication of emotional issues. More than mental health issues, though they often go hand in hand I don't think it is either gender's role to seek or avoid attachment. It's not more wrong for a woman to do it than it is for a man, in that sense I think that it is only recently become more safe for women to do it but that is not a biological imperative.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 11:27 PM
1

Because validating urges for non- consensual sexual acts empowers abusers, makes their targets more vulnerable to manipulation and less likely to recognize or report abuse. Because it's normal right? There are far more important compatibilities than sexual kinks when it comes to creating relationships, but if it is so important to you that it needs to be front loaded in the dating process, then it is absolutely valid for the non-kink partner to opt out then and there there is nothing broken in t…

If it helps, I agree that it is detrimental on a personal and societal level to have children outside of a two-parent situation. I disagree if you are saying women having one night stands is more damaging than men having one nightstands
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 10:39 PM
1

You do realize that societal norms only happen on individual levels, right? And it's a lack of imagination on your part. If you think that normalizing rape fantasies is healthy for everyone
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 10:35 PM
1

Getting upset and condescending does not make it a better idea and encouraging wilder kinks more broadly is not beneficial on a personal or societal level. Focus on sex positivity and for love of God therapy as well

It is weird that you put discussing a uncommon kink at the same level as discussing basic boundaries. You are more than welcome to introduce yourself and your kink in the same breath. Just do not be surprised if everyone around you thinks that's a terrible idea

Talking more openly about sex is normalized. That is very different than the normalizations of rape fetishes which has the potential to do an incredible amount of harm to men and women
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 08:15 PM
1

No, I don't. There is a difference between sex positivity and perpetuating sexual desires/fetishizations which can be harmful psychologically and physically. Much the same way that alcohol can be relaxing and fun but it can also destroy lives figuratively and literally. Where that line lies depends on a case by case basis and under constant consent and communication between people who are vulnerable with each other and care about each other's well-being. Normalization would put people at risk es…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 08:04 PM

So you're arguing that mens (specifically sick) fantasies should be normalized so that women will feel more comfortable fulfilling them?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 07:51 PM
3

That is something vastly different from a taboo kink fantasy. You're talking about unrealistic expectations
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 07:39 PM
4

Fantasy is not reality and shouldn't effect dating unless you want to literally explore it and hope to find a compatible partner. Gender is irrelevant to that
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 07:10 PM
6

Did you catch the part where I differentiated between women not using protection and women who act responsibly? Do you think that all women who have one night stands never use protection? Do you know what nuance is?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 05:43 PM
7

Do you comment on the wrong thread?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 05:33 PM

It's not 'making the guy wait' you self-obsessed barnacle it's building a relationship based on more than sex. You've made it abundantly clear you have no interest in that. All you have to do is imagine that there are people who do
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 04:56 PM

The part where you can understand a guy using a woman for sex but have a complete break down imagining a woman using a man for sex. I have no idea where you are getting the idea that a woman who doesn't want to sleep with a guy she likes on the first date, is also the irresponsible type not using protection on a fling. This whole thing comes off like a tantrum because you got let down easy in a rejection
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 04:45 PM

That only makes sense if you see women as equal people with preferences of their own, OP cannot process this outlook, please remove so he doesn't have to hear about another disgusting relationship based on respect

Because of false equivalence. I like marriage and sex so I will choose a relationship with marriage and sex. If I didn't want marriage or sex I still might want companionship and to feel love/cherished and to love/cherish someone else If I didn't want to experience love or cherishing, or to have children, or to have sex, or to be married then yeah...I probably would only be in a relationship if someone really wanted to be in one with me (though I don't see why they would with that outlook) Is th…

And people point out that love and companionship is a motivation for a relationship, even for people who don't want sex or a marriage
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 11:29 PM

Yikes. Huge red flags. Body shaming. Check. Gaslighting. Check. Controlling. Check. You're 95lbs, even on a petite body that is tiny, and he wants you to lose belly fat? Absolutely, like I said, perfection is something to try for but falling short is all we can do. And that's okay. That is the grace you give one another in marriage <3 There's nothing wrong with not being cute and bubbly all the time. But you can be conscientious of what energy you direct at your husband. No worries at all, I'm happy to chat about it :) I think a lot of the confusion just comes down to emotional regulation, not hiding yourself as a wife. For example, if I am having a very grumpy day, but I Don't have an actual problem that needs to be fixed, it's not hiding myself to compartmentalize that attitude, and greet my husband with warmth when he comes home. Be careful not to put your energy into appeasing the parents, but into pleasing him. Do your best to behave in a way that would make him proud that you are his before considering what you need to do to impress the parents it's a fine line but an important one.
