I have no love for Trump....Absolutely none. So it kind of unnerves me when his supporter in this video seems reasonable.

Has there ever been a story of a male uber driver attacking anyone? I've heard stories of male taxi drivers being falsely accused and i have heard of male uber drivers being attacked, but never the driver themselves doing the attack.

Isn't the common stereotype that it is men that don't listen to women?

Suicide; It is bad enough among just men in general, but throw in the troubles of being gay into the mix as well.

who are often mistaken for MRAs This would seem to suggest that it is unintentional when it is most certainly is.

And sadly the only "MRAs" they point to that hate these movies reject being called an MRA. (Return of Kings comes to mind)

Better than my story for looking into the MRM, which basically boils down to having an argument with a feminist and she told me to educate myself....so i started educating myself.

Just tell her that she is sexist. If she objects just remind her that everyone is sexist, everyone is homophobic, and you have to point it all out.

Rather than trying to get initiatives like this taken down, I'd rather see equivalent workshops and groups started in fields where men are in a big minority and might feel marginalized. I agree, i would certainly would like to see such things for Education, Nursing, etc. It isn't going to happen though. Why waste money on something for men when it could be put to better use for women.

So...What is it that this says to young boys? Girls are special, you are not. Or at least that is what i take from it.

Wasn't there something similar to this in Australia? A woodworking group for men and boys? If i remember correctly it got shut down because of fear of pedophiles. I wonder if we will see a repeat with this.

I always find it funny when you read an article about the "friend zone" it always about the guy just wanting sex. As if sex is the only thing on a guys mind. What if he actually wanted a relationship, and all the nice things he did were just his awkward advances to show how good of a partner he would be. No, he just wants to get his dick wet.

StalkedInBoston, basically if you lived in her city you were stalking her. Almost all of them were about how this guy or that guy were stalking her. Part of me thinks she was just doing it for the lols but other times she seems really serious about it. There seems to be a mirror of all her work here. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqgLfGZOqzRrtN5M3s5eJ3A

Funny thing is this sort of shit happens to men as well..... I don't see them so much as blaming men, but looking back and seeing obvious warning signs about the men they hooked up with. We do this to about women as well, even in this sub. Of course we tend to get labeled as misogynists over it though.

The men's rights group created by Paul Elam began as a mostly Pretty sure they existed before Elam showed up.... Many of the issues the movement seeks to address are real, but Jeff Sharlet says that the movement has a dark underbelly to it — an underbelly of rage. Just like Feminism. Her body, her choice, her right, his financial responsibility. Yeah the best advice I can give is get a lawyer. He is likely going to have to pay child support anyways but a lawyer might be able to help keep him from getting ground to dust by the system. Do not interact with the mother with out the lawyer present. Document everything. If legal in your state record everything. I wish you both the best of luck in this and I hope you make it through with your sanity.

I'd say drop her like a rock. You are likely not going to be able to change her. She is clearly having an effect on you. Sounds like you may have issues as well. Way I see it is that this is basically a three pronged problem. Fewer want to work themselves into an early grave. Fewer women want to put their careers on hold to have kids. Also imagine they are unwilling to settle for a man who is not at least their equal financially. And finally the last problem is immigration. They have a low immigration rate.

Yeah, I had always heard that women have more attempts, but men are more likely to succeeded on the first try. Which naturally leads into the joke that if want something done right the first time, have a man do it. But yeah as most people have stated it is likely that these attempts are more of a cry of help or attention than anything. I don't know what drives a woman to try. Well i can't speak for everyone, but i think listening would be a good place to start. I learned pretty early on that any complaints i had were just not important. Male sexuality is already viewed as a toxic thing by feminism. And here is sexual gratification for men in a tube. I imagine sex positive feminists might not care, and some like Joycelyn Elders* might support it, but the majority will label it toxic and objectifying. *I have no idea if she is a feminist or not, i assumed she was since she was a political figure and it would political suicide not to be one.

Oh god. Jessica Valenti. This is going to be a painful read. You know for an article supposedly talking about male birth control she spends very little time talking about men and birth control

You're guilty of having a penis in the first degree and there for can not be correct about anything.

I would assume that she can't till the difference between a cop and an FBI agent.

Hasn't it been reported that she directly contacted the FBI on this one? Granted i still doubt the FBI displayed the level incompetence that she claims the "police" showed. I say "police" in case she doesn't know the difference between the police and the FBI.

it’s the sweet and cuddly mama’s boys who grow up terrified of making the first move; it’s the guys who have so much to say but don’t know how to say it. Geez, i wonder who's fucking fault that is. Feminism maybe?

Agreed, its a minor inconvenience I am willing to deal with to have reproductive control.

The extortion thing kind of bothers me. I am not saying I don’t think she got raped the evidence presented strongly suggests it was rape, I just don’t understand the demand for money.

Ok, has TED finally merged with TEDx? I always thought they were two completely different things.

This is fucking hilarious. As if no woman ever wanted proactive photos of their boyfriend.

It's hard to say no to something when someone's already doing it to you, which is the problem here. Then take measures to stop them. Yeah I know not exactly an easy thing to do if he is the larger, but she had a good five inches on him. She could have easily turned her head up and away. As others have stated women have been deflecting since time and memorial. Ok maybe she was caught off guard and lost her wits. Deer in the headlights as some would say. Still think this could have been settled be…

He had thought he had made his intention clear even before the elevator She had known of my interests in her for a little while and I had thought she had similar interests. Clearly he was mistaken We were part of a really tight group of friends, and when two of us did something, we all did that something. He was not just some random boy. He was a friend that wanted to develop a deeper relationship. Yeah he done goofed and did something he shouldn't have. But was calling the police really necessa…

I have no doubt that some of these women like Zoe and Anita have received death threats from the Internet, but with that said, so did the fish that played Pokemon.

But so much of our communication is non-verbal when it comes to romance, and as men we are suppose to innately pick up and understand these subtle clues. And at a young age trying to figure out these signals can be rough for both genders. He didn't exactly "wait" until he had in an enclosed environment. This clearly wasn't a planned thing. He was trying to make a grand spontaneous romantic gesture to a girl that he thought felt the same about him. Clearly he failed, but girls supposedly love tha…

I can't say for sure, I don't know her, and i don't know him, but i think he dodge a bullet. I doubt that he decided to leave her just for finding out about her past, but likely it was just the straw the broke the camel's back.

So how long before she gets 160 grand and just sweeps all these under the rug as slut shamming and calling all her critics misogynists. You know what, fuck it, i am done. I quit. I am gonna go back to Warhammer 40k....no way in hell that is going to become main stream enough for SJWs.

Ideally that's how it should work. Some women don't handle rejection well (admittedly some men don't either) I am just worried that these could come down giant he said she said situations.

Yeah.... they say no sex, but what does he do when she propositions him? Think he'll say no? And if he does how is she going to respond?
