I wholeheartedly reject that. Men, just like women, are humans. Humans are social creatures and perception of ones self amongst the in group is massively important. Everyone cares, except those with severe mental problems

Yes I would agree that men downplay our sexual and romantic desires specially less than women do. (It might be useful to think about WHY there is less social pressure on men to deny their shallow desires than for women) But this tendency towards conscious belief that contradicts subconscious ones is a human one and goes through our entire lives, not just the romantic marketplace

You’re mixing up correlation with causation. Women are attracted to traits that “asshole” men often have. - high self esteem, they often think less of those around them and thereby think more highly of themselves. - independence, they’re normally the opposite of people pleasers which means they are happy to do what they want to do. - high status, they’re often willing to do bad things to good people which is something that is generally rewarded financially and status wise Some others in less dep…

Genuine question, do you think that men hold similar contradictions to these like women do?

If your only life goal is to get sex then you are living a pathetic existence without meaning
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/25 05:09 PM

💯 bang on tbh

Nope not particularly, if anything it’s made it easier as I have a lot less fomo and curiosity. I know what’s out there, I know what I want and my girlfriend provides that

Toxic masculinity is a term referring to a group of behaviours that are generally seen as masculine, but have negative effects on either the man themselves or the people around them. For example, it is generally seen as masculine to bottle up your feelings and problems, never discuss them and to view those who do as weak. This is a “toxic” behaviour as it causes harm to the man and those around him. Toxic masculinity is not referring to all masculine behaviours or masculinity as a whole, it is a…

Dressing nicely is very important in attracting women. The majority of women care how a man dresses. It’s highly subjective though and no one style will attract all women equally

Bro you’re agreeing with me. When they decided they wanted to date, they “went over the top” (presumably positive) to get them to date. Again, in my experience women are better to men that they want to date.

The craziest sex I’ve had has always been in relationships. Not that hookups are necessarily boring but instead that some women can be real freaks with men they trust. Just don’t date women you’re sexually incompatible with

Men like women with attractive bodies, it’s easier to tell if someone has an attractive body when they are dressed immodestly. Though many men feel very insecure when their girl dresses immodestly when they’re dating. In short the ideal woman to many men is someone who is extremely attractive and shows them that but is then willing to dress like a nun the second they’re dating

I have literally zero idea what you’re talking about, are you replying to the right person? I get treated very well by women

Sex is like the toilet when buying a house. Only an idiot would buy a house based on the toilet. But it takes a mad man to move into a house without one

You’re mistaking being a doormat for being nice and having self respect/confidence for being an asshole.

I’m too protective and possessive to ever do anything other than monogamy, I’ve had it proposed to me before and I just blocked her

Must be the kinds of girls around you, because I’ve always been treated better by women who wanted to date me than women who just wanted to hook up. Which makes sense, the women who just wanted to hook up barely had to do anything, whereas the women who wanted to date had to put in effort

Speaking for myself, given I’ve never dated any man, I’ve had no issue remaining faithful when in a relationship. Yes No I have no issue not flirting given I mostly did it to get sex anyway so if that’s not in the table there’s little point. I’m dating my partner (in part) because I find her attractive and we have compatible sex drives. If I were to be propositioned I’d just say no. If I find myself longing for a hook up so much so that I’d cheat on my partner, I’d just leave her

2-3 a day, if you get less than that you’re either very ugly, have a terrible profile, or you’re using dating apps wrong.

Where do you get the impression that girls treat relationship candidates worse than hookups? My experience is the opposite

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
