That wasn't the judgment. The court found the defendants not guilty, it didn't rule on whether there were false allegations. Rapes happen, false allegations happen - if there is doubt the court rules in favor of the accused. That's how justice systems are meant to work. Unless she is convicted of having made false allegations, the presumption of innocence applies to her, too.

I would disagree with the Tories on many things, but the court has confirmed that it was his decision to make. The benefit for the country is not having a known terrorist in the country. There is good evidence of bias in sentencing against men, I wasn't able to find any for bias of female judges giving lesser sentences to women. It's possible studies like this exist, if you have information to that effect I'd be interested to hear that. In general it seems unlikely to be the cause of the problem, as women are a minority in that profession. Also the bias is long-standing, it didn't just occur with the number of female judges increasing.
