In my experience there is an extremely dodgy and probably corrupt cohort that police the Valley. When I have been involved in complaints and do RTI requests the footage was always "lost" or mysteriously begins right after the alleged wrongdoing of the defendant, and is almost always footage from an unrelated officer. This woman somehow got off with just a fine, if I was representing a homeless man who did the same I can guarantee he would be given much harsher punishment. Australia's courts are not fair, and hardly ever lenient where they should be. Not even close to justice.
