I'd say they're like like ancient beer. People have been brewing it forever but it wasnt understood until we developed a better understanding of the biological and chemical reactions. The methods there work but they fail to understand why they work. Read Marcus Aurelius Meditations first, theres a lot of good mantras for accepting your place in the universe. Its roman stoic philosophy, written in 86 A.D. Still has better self help info than anything written since. Read it, lets discuss it, and I'll tell you the next book to read.

"Self defense" is the defense your lawyer would use to prove you acted justly in commiting your assault. Do women inherently desire to attribute everything to a cultural expectation, or is that one we place on them? Women have the ability to wear both pants and dresses, which are both socially acceptable for them. They have the choice to wear loose or tight fitting clothing.
