I think you need to look at why you're having trouble with it. Would being rejected be so bad? If so, why? Aren't you an interesting, fun person that she should want to date? If yes, then she's the one losing out by rejecting you. If no, then you should be working on yourself.

I'll just address a few points here, if you don't mind. Why assume the people supporting this have bad looks? I am generally considered an above average looking guy. I had a bad time back when I was an afc, because I was a nice guy, unintentionally a creeper, and had no game. Looks alone couldn't save me, even though people would constantly compliment my looks. Which leads back to my original point. Its not the deciding factor, its simply a factor. I would completely disagree that an ugly man te…

Your advice is more akin to "There's plenty of water in France if you're thirsty". While its true, its hardly the best advice. But, thank you for giving it regardless.

Because its more difficult to have an excellent time when you're always in the same setting/doing the same thing? I'm sorry, but it's not a good plan to do the same thing all the time and expect it to be fine because you're awesome. That's success in spite of circumstances.

I want to agree, but it doesn't feel that way to me. Yes, there are opportunities and ways around spending, but its limiting. Especially on a second meeting. Coffee? Out. Food? Out. Concert, movie, many other things, all out. Don't get me wrong, I know there are free things to do. I just want to know more, so I don't seem lame and predictable.

I like point five a lot. I have no problem telling girls I'm really into 3d art, nerdy hip hop, or video games. I suppose it helps that I make all these things, but I always present them in a positive, hobby part of my life. I'm not ashamed of what I enjoy, and if they are, they're the weird one.

Sir, you are a golden god among us. I love this idea.

I simply walked away. A confident guy with things to do doesn't need to make a scene about it, he just moves on.

If you're too afraid to go out and try to pickup women, start smaller. If you don't already, start going out regularly. From there, start going up to women with the mentality of "I'm looking for entertainment, lets see if she can interest me and vica versa". I found once I was comfortable just talking to people, pickup became so much simpler.

This is definitely good advice. I forget where I heard it from, but when I was first getting into pickup, I was advised to look 300 women in the eye until they broke eye contact. The idea being that afterwards, its easy and natural, and that held true for me. It's also a confidence boost, as women will often smile or say hi, without additional effort on your part.

This, really. Meet up, be pleasant, try to feel relaxed. Some people say thngs like don't kiss, but I find that really kills the mood. Start slowly, but confidently. Build just a tinge of anticipation to it. After the first time, it'll feel easy and normal.

I like the points you make, and they all hold true... Except looks do matter. But just like everything else, it's not a big deal. Neither is kino, teasing, role playing, strong openers, etc. Someone who's terrible at one of these things, but has solid game otherwise, is going to do well. Having good looks, which is subjective, is a helper. It doesn't make you more attractive, it makes people want to be attracted to you, if that makes any sense. They look for that vibe, and give you more leeway w…

I'd caution against the "constant" part of pick up. That's fine, if someone wants to dedicate themselves to that area, but to say anyone else shouldn't be here if they aren't "constantly" picking up? Its silly. I've been in a slump lately, but before that, I would use this stuff when I went out, and was feeling like pick up. Or if I found someone who interested me that way. I'd also use the general ideas about self improvement always, but I would pick up regularly, not constantly. If you're doin…

I love this story, because I can relate to it. I've honestly never been a great PUA, though I've done plenty good in the past. But what I can't believe is how being confident, fun, etc... has gotten me so many free drinks, food, and other things. I've always steadfastly refused to buy things for girls, I go dutch, and so on. Yet, I've had many girls offer to grab me a beer, or this or that. My favorite is when one of the girls is headed to grab drinks for her friends. I'll just toss in something…

As nice as that sounds, you really don't want to be "chasing each other". This creates a sort of power vacuum, where one person eventually takes control. With her taking her stand before, and you changing for her, this will pose her to take control. Does this sound really cold? Yeah, it does, and it won't happen like that. It will start imperceptibly small, but over time, she'll begin to realize she has the say in the relationship. This can be harmless, but often, anybody with power in a relatio…

While I don't recommend the oneitis, not one bit, its simple. Tease her harder. If a girl thinks you're nice, start laying into the teases(slowly, but amplify).

Play it cool. Talking over the internet is a great opportunity to tease them and DHV on your terms. Don't feel like you need to rush into a meeting. Get some good time in on facebook, chatting with her, making jokes and teasing her. After a bit of this, it becomes super easy to ask for a meet up, because you have this more intimate relationship. Frankly, internet game is incredibly easy once you've broken the ice(dating sites are the worst for this, because girls are on guard and have no connect…

This is really great advice. To give an example from a while back, I was at a house party with a good group of friends. I had been talking a bit to a girl I'd met before(whom I had invited, though she knew others there). However, a good friend of mine was interested in her, so I had decided not to pursue it. She'd wander into groups of people I'd be talking to, I'd finish whatever bit of conversation I was in, and then wander to another group. This turned into her practically following me like a…
