Who cares? Women have come up with this stupid scenario just to fuck with us. I live near beach in Florida. Fuck em.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 07:13 PM
1

Tldr but so fucking what. Who the fuck cares who has sex? This is so stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 07:11 PM

It’s been scientifically proven women have an in-group bias and men don’t. In evolution women support each other and men compete with each other. Being a man I have to look out for myself including weeding out potential romantic partners, man bashers and man haters will never treat a man equitably.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 06:46 PM

Women can mind being generalized themselves while enjoying the shit out of generalizing men. I didn’t say there wasn’t hypocrisy.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 06:41 PM

I don’t think that’s true. Women are put on a pedestal and are not allowed to fail. Just compare the difference in homeless men with homeless women. Men dislike it when women lump us all together probably because men have greater iq variance and no in-group bias so men can’t relate to each other or police each other like women can, who have less IQ variance and an in-group bias against men.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 05:55 PM

That is kind of what gender relations are for most men. We’re sitting around single and not bothering women, then a big meme gets going about how we’re lower than animals in the woods.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 05:45 PM

That’s what I’m expecting in the next few decades. Depopulation is the name of the game. It’s going to be interesting. Like the dusty old Victorians of the 1880’s meeting the bulldozer and steam shovel to make way for high rises and freeways. Our modern cheap homes will have even less historical value.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 05:22 PM

Men can go without sex much longer than women. That’s why they mistrust single bachelors. They think we sneak around as much as they do. When I’ve been years, it’s been 2 years for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 05:02 PM

Depression, violence, protests, social breakdowns, women berating and screaming at men in public, more man-bashing like “the bear analogy”, a more vacant society with urban renewal bulldozing many McMansions and tract homes, women hysterically crying and needing psychological treatment when they are single and childless in their 40’s. It will be a thrill a minute, like Disneyland.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 04:51 PM

It’s a humiliating fuck you to all men and we all know it.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 02:51 PM

After this bear in the woods controversy I know respect from women isn’t even possible.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 02:23 PM

I would agree. You can’t form a trusting relationship, friendship, or work relationship when she thinks you are an evil beast, worse than an animal. It shows women’s bitterness, insecurity, and ultimate sadness. It’s projection. Women are the ones who can’t go without sex. Women are the ones who pursue and need sex and whine and cry on YouTube when they can’t find a man. The whole question is designed to gaslight men, and the fact so many women are in on it, shows they think we’re shit and want …
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 02:11 PM
1

I was always better friends with women than men. But in times like these, self preservation comes to mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 01:02 PM

The 80/20 rule is real. I’m a tall attractive guy and I think it’s creepy. Women in public look at me often, then sometimes try to look confused or sneaky. Some get angry if I don’t reciprocate flirting. To see women on the prowl like this reminds me of the witches from Hocus Pocus. I feel like a piece of meat to these women. Behavior like that is a huge turn off, but women are getting desperate and angry as they struggle to share the top 10% of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 11:13 AM
1

Dude it’s not even worth getting married or having children today.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 10:34 AM
1

We have higher intelligence and self control.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 10:28 AM

I haven’t said women have to respect me. I don’t do anything bad to women. I don’t care if I’m not an ally. I do think watching out for myself trumps relationships and trumps feminism. No apologies for that either.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 10:20 AM

I agree it’s a bunch of bullshit. The incel crisis is completely overblown. Some multigenerational housing and bachelors sets off a fuckin crisis alarm on social media and CNN. I’m sick of it. The real problem is these men are not generating profits through buying diamond rings, homes, and diapers. That’s why CNN whines about incels. Not because of some divine right to get your dick wet.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 09:35 PM
1

That’s what I’m asking.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 08:41 PM

Now I know you’re smoking the good shit. Dating is not fun. LTRs are not fun. There is so much hand wringing because men aren’t controlled by women anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 07:31 PM

Why because we’re all sex crazed animals who need appeasement sex to keep us from going insane?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 07:18 PM

Yes I think gender relations will get worse.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 07:18 PM
1

Choosing the bear is an insult as well. It could be as much as a yes or no. Because it’s women who especially resent bachelors who live with their parents, there must be a reason for it. I think it’s because women think men need appeasement sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 07:15 PM
1

It’s a simple question.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 07:11 PM
1

Do women think men need appeasement sex therefore celibate men are dangerous?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 07:10 PM
1

Well it doesn’t drive me.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 07:09 PM

Who cares what attracts women? What are women some special prize. Ooooooh I’m really impressed. Pussy. God forbid men go without it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 07:06 PM
1

Well you enjoy your hypocrisy. Hates men but wants one. The height of entitlement.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 07:02 PM
1

Maybe there are some benefits you can extract from some of us, but you will always hate most of us.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 06:56 PM
2

I don’t understand why women who hate men marry men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 06:55 PM

It’s not worth it when we’re thought of as so low. And you treat us like we’re low. I think it’s disgusting. But you do you too.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 06:52 PM

I don’t have to prove my trust to anyone. There’s nothing wrong with staying a bachelor.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 06:49 PM

So go date a bear then.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 06:47 PM

In the OG meme women collectively chose the bear, including my sisters. Who should get a bear to replace a brother.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 06:42 PM
-8

In the OG women collectively chose the bear. Even both my sisters. Who I will not be talking to for a while.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 06:22 PM

This man hate is out of control.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 06:18 PM

I look at this man hate as good motivation to stay a bachelor.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 06:11 PM
1

Oh well, then I’m an outlier. I still don’t care.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 05:33 PM
1

Yeah the expectation men become husbands and fathers and providers when women otherwise hate us.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 05:14 PM
1

I don’t care if people judge me. Life isn’t a fairy tale. I’m sure you know many men doing the same thing. Women just want access to us and our resources and living with our folks impedes access.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 05:03 PM

I guess you can’t ever know unless you can crawl inside someone’s head. I have made the choice to leave relationships and stay a bachelor, because there is a lot of mistrust and anger between the genders. That’s at least one issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:56 PM
1

Do you take care of yourself and do everything as an individualist capitalist? I’m happy to be able to save money living with my folks.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:48 PM
1

I’m not on any spectrum.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:47 PM
1

The expectation for men is crazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:46 PM
1

I’m not a bum. I have a full time job. You’re just a man-hater. You think we should do everything for women at the same time you hate us.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:44 PM
1

Why are you expecting traditionalism from men if you aren’t a conservative? It’s gender roles for thee but not for me?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:43 PM
1

The commenter above told me at 37 I should have a wife and child and be taking care of my parents. I thought that was crazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:31 PM
0

Well what I’m saying is there is no lifestyle or outward appearance that can vouch for a man’s character. Mistrust will be reciprocated.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:30 PM

Yeah I don’t get matches at all. I know it’s by design. They show fake profiles of wealthy looking women. It’s phony. It’s a slot machine scam.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:13 PM
-1

True that makes sense. There are no males who appear trustworthy.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:11 PM
1

So first I’m supposed to have a wife and child, now it’s safe for me not to have a wife and children? Seems like circular reasoning.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:09 PM
1

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:05 PM
1

So what if I am?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:05 PM
0

You dropped the wife/children obligation real quick. See I told you that was nuts. They are significantly more wealthy than I am. I doubt they would even let me pay their bills.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:04 PM
1

I’ll be happy to continue being a bachelor, no matter what you think. Why would I want to even date man-haters let alone procreate? Gag me with a spoon.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:01 PM
1

I expect more than a downvote. I mean that’s crazy. Telling men they must have wives and children when women don’t want to be wives or have children. That’s gaslighting and lunacy.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 03:53 PM
2

So what? It’s natural to adjust your behavior accordingly. You don’t keep touching hot stoves over and over. You don’t stick your dick in a hornets nest over and over expecting a different result. And what do you even care for if another man is a celibate bachelor? Is it any of your business?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 03:47 PM
2

I make enough for an apartment. I used to want women until I realized relationships are just worthless.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 03:44 PM
-1

I don’t believe in those obligations. Men don’t have to have a wife and children.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 03:40 PM

If I cared I would move out of my parents house.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 03:35 PM

I don’t know, or care. It’s stupid because it shows me nothing but fabulously rich and model quality women that I know are out of my league. I don’t need to date, especially when women are such vicious man haters.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 03:31 PM
0

So what? Multigenerational households are normal across the planet.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 03:27 PM

I think you get a handful of free swipes but eventually you have to pay to continue. Casino night zone in Sonic 2 was a lot more fun. 1992, man. Good times.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 03:24 PM

It’s gaslighting man-hate designed to slander us, humiliate us, dominate us, and push us away, when we’re already distant and sick to death of your man hate and man envy. If you enjoy being single keep pushing us away.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 03:22 PM
0

I guess you’re right. There are no safe characteristics. But why should men move out of their parents houses?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 02:18 PM
0

I’m talking about a 37 year old man.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 01:59 PM
1

I am romantically interested in women insofar as I’m straight. But that doesn’t mean I have a partner or need one. I’m concerned with how men are perceived as predatory and bad. Women emotionally push men away, and blame us for the faults in capitalism, then blame us when they can’t find good men. It’s blame blame blame. When i worked hard in my prior relationships. I work hard in my job pulling in a good salary. So why should I take any slander? I might be estranged from my sisters for a while …
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 01:23 PM
8

I’ve worked too hard in past relationships and my job to hear this constant slander from women who constantly push us away, then complain there are no good men. Stop acting stupid, stop acting repulsive.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 01:08 PM
2

I might be estranged from both my sisters for at least a month because of this.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 01:06 PM

I don’t know if conversation causes that. I think women can be manipulative or negative towards their man because they want more than they can ever get from one man. And that causes constant criticism and her “feeling like a mother”. I’m astonished at how angry women are at men. The bear in the woods is the latest situation, where writers say “can you believe men still don’t get it”? As if we have to be slandered constantly to “get it”. Women are pushing men as far away as fast as they can. And …
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:58 PM

They’re everywhere. They just induced an entire social-wide conversation about how bears are less dangerous than men. Even members of my family “chose the bear”.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:51 PM
1

Women don’t reject me. I don’t approach women or use dating apps. I never said women don’t want me. You are engaging in harmful stereotypes about bachelors, that we haven’t been chosen by women are therefore defective in some way. But in reality many men are single and celibate. You probably know men who are single and celibate. There is nothing wrong or abnormal about that at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:34 PM
1

I’m not pretending anything. I was told numerous times that so attributes of men can render them safe.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:23 PM

Men have to pay on Tinder and Hinge to keep swiping like it’s a slot machine. It’s awful. I hate it. I liked slot machines in Sonic the Hedgehog, at least that was fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:21 PM
2

I’m not attributing anything to you. I already got the consensus on this, and it’s that men can’t be trusted no matter their choices or lifestyle. You didn’t see that but most respondents more or less did. And this is helping me acknowledge and come to terms with staying a bachelor.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:18 PM
1

I already told you I was wrong. What more do you want?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:14 PM
-3

Why is it assumed a single or celibate man can’t attract women? I see women check me out in public all the time. But I don’t trust the tik tok, only fans, man-hater generation of women. You sound like a lunatic accusing me of all this crazy shit, like I have a mental disability, what the fuck? I already admitted I was wrong, genius. I was told men can’t be trusted no matter their lifestyle or choices. So I’m wrong, ya happy?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:10 PM
3

I don’t use dating apps. It’s a slot machine where you pay them. How fucked up is that, just go to the casino and get a gambling addiction, save you your house in divorce court.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 11:48 AM
1

Yes that’s the general consensus, no man can be trusted based on anything really.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 11:45 AM
2

How am I straw manning? I’m trying to get the point across I’m not harmful to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 11:44 AM
1

I’m 36 and not asexual or religious.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 11:42 AM
4

One way to make it simple is to stay single.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 03:58 AM
-1

I got my answer, no need to reply.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 02:57 AM
19

My dad has said lately “it used to be so simple”. He is dismayed by my situation. He met my mom in high school in the 70’s. They have been together ever since. It’s not like that anymore. It’s okay, life changes and goes on, but maybe we do take simplicity for granted in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 01:05 AM
1

Ok but I still think this is a fine situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:53 AM
0

Yes that makes sense. There is no real way to tell good men from bad. They clarified things for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:39 AM
1

You’re right, I should be doing things like this. I will look into these things.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:36 AM
1

I have no desire to harm women. Nor have I ever harmed women. I honestly don’t have much interaction with women outside of family members. Outside of small talk with dispensary cashiers. But being single and celibate I would hope signify I’m a safe man but I guess there is no way to be seen as a safe man.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:35 AM
1

Neutral because it says nothing of the quality of these roles he plays. In my case I was hoping these traits would shed positive light on my character but I guess they don’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:33 AM
0

Being completely harmless toward women has got to be beyond mere neutral.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:30 AM
0

These are more than random facts. I’m talking about being a man who is harmless to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:29 AM
1

What am I supposed to do?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:28 AM
1

I don’t know any women I can help. My sisters and mother are doing fine. I don’t know any other women closely.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:27 AM
1

Yes that’s what I figured. I will stay a celibate bachelor because you can’t have a relationship with people who don’t view you as safe despite being extremely harmless. It wouldn’t be fair to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:26 AM
1

By leaving women alone and doing everything I’m supposed to do as a male feminist.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:25 AM
1

Because in my life i’m not a threat to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:23 AM
2

Ok. I would have thought this would have made me a safe man but I guess this is not possible?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:22 AM
0

For a long time now we have heard we need to leave women alone. Many women have been talking about the man or bear in the woods situation this week. Even women I know in person, The last thing I would ever want is to be seen as a threat.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:19 AM
1

I don’t know what I can do more than what I’m already doing. I work my job and keep to myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:14 AM
1

I’m talking about me, none of those people apply to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:12 AM
0

They are choices that signify I have zero power, Ill will, or oppressive tendencies toward women.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:07 AM
1

I’m not oppressing women.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:06 AM
0

Some men have power, but men like me, bachelors, celibates, we are clearly not powerful.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:06 AM
1

Either way, I’m not bothering or oppressing anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 11:57 PM
1

I don’t have enough social interaction to talk down to much of anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 11:54 PM
1

I can’t speak for other men. I’m lucky that I have a good job. I feel blessed for the life I have.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 11:52 PM
-1

I’m not complaining about any of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 11:48 PM
1

I’m not hurting women in any way. I leave them completely alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 11:47 PM
0

A single celibate man is advancing feminism. He is not oppressing or trying to own women. He is not participating in the oppression of women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 11:46 PM
-2

Men don’t allies, we are the group that holds power.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 11:44 PM
1

Wouldn’t being a celibate bachelor at my age be going against gender roles?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 11:43 PM
-3

I’m not upholding any patriarchy. Like I said I’m single.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 11:39 PM
2

No I think I have plenty of blessings in life. My parents, my job, my guitars. No complaints.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 09:54 PM
1

I don’t care about getting pussy. I’ve had sex partners in the past, but not since I moved back to my parents home.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 09:25 PM
3

I never said anything about trying to have sex. I have had sex partners in the past and I’m sure they would say I was good to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 09:23 PM
5

Well I guess you’re right. I’ll just keep on doing what I’m doing. The scenario doesn’t effect me anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 09:07 PM
4

Well you hear all the time about how men are terrible people, a bear is safer, and here I am completely opposite.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 09:01 PM
5

Well the point being that a man is worse than a violent animal like a bear. It would make anyone sad to be dehumanized like that, especially when I’m completely the opposite and do not bother or approach women in public at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 09:00 PM
1

Just not to be lumped in with the men who are worse than bears.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:57 PM
4

Sure but I mean, this conversation about the bear vs the man, that left me feeling pretty bummed.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:56 PM
2

Learn? Go to protests? I don’t know, but I want to be a man that can’t be criticized for or accused of oppression.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:55 PM
1

I would if I had a partner. I would want nothing but to be the best partner I can be, if I were partnered. But I’m not talking about that, I’m just talking about general respect.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:54 PM
3

I didn’t mean it like that. Maybe not praise but just to not be included in the group of oppressors in general conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:53 PM
3

I try to smile but sometimes I forget. I sometimes make small talk when someone tries to with me. I can usually make someone laugh. So yeah I think I’m doing pretty well.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:52 PM

Sexual self control is supposedly a green flag to women is it not?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:50 PM
1

I’ve heard sexual self control is a green flag for women is it not?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:49 PM
0

How do you evaluate harmfulness potential in men? Maybe that is how I should have asked this in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:48 PM
1

I guess you’re right.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:46 PM
1

Ok, that makes sense. I will continue doing what I’m doing and maybe look into a local feminist group to learn more.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:46 PM
1

25% must be pretty high historically.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:44 PM
4

I’m not talking about what makes a man attractive. I don’t care about that. I didn’t say anything about being a great partner, or trying to have a partnership.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:42 PM
1

No it was to get married and have children but to many that would be considered patriarchal and oppressive.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:40 PM
6

I am a normal guy. But what’s wrong with reading feminism? And I don’t know what you mean by “what everyone else does.”
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:39 PM
0

Do you think I should attend a feminist meeting or something?

I don’t have much social interaction with men who harm women. I just don’t run with those crowds. I only know one other single guy and he is also celibate and a bachelor. I’m not trying to get into a partnership and I haven’t complained about anything regarding that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:33 PM

I work from home but I have previously trained and been trained by women. I don’t vote to take away women’s rights. What good would that do me?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:30 PM

I guess it depends on where you set the bar. I am one less man oppressing women out there.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:25 PM

Yes of course. I feel like I’m completely safe. Despite being six feet tall and strong and everything. I feel pretty harmless.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:23 PM
3

We went from me talking about being celibate and a bachelor to you thinking I’m suppressing some desire to rape?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:16 PM
2

I have no desire to rape anyone. I’m simply stating the fact that a bachelor and celibate man is not harmful to women and that is not really acknowledged.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:15 PM

Where did I say I’m looking for women’s approval or pussy? I’m just trying to understand. Aren’t I a safe man? If I’m celibate I’m not looking for pussy.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:14 PM

Your point makes no sense. I don’t want to harm women, and I’m not harming women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:12 PM

Another poster here says 1 out of 3 women are assaulted. I’m one less guy in the pool of men who would ever do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:11 PM

How is someone causing zero harm part of the problem?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:10 PM
7

I would expect a bachelor and celibate would be, for example, safer than a bear in the woods.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:06 PM
-2

Not causing harm is a pretty big step in the right direction. What do women do that is commendable above and beyond men? I mean I sacrificed my life’s plans. That deserves kudos.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:04 PM

But seriously, thank you
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:01 PM

For not causing harm.

So I’m celibate & a bachelor, but I need to find further ways to help? My job takes up a majority of my time. That and sleep. I’m not sure what you mean by help.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 07:58 PM
-1

That’s not the bare minimum. What more do you want?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 07:55 PM

You would think feminists would celebrate men who do not impose their sexuality or will on women in any form. That must be rare in history. Why not celebrate single and celibate men?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 07:51 PM
1

Let’s not forget about bachelors and celibate men. Many men choose not to date or have sexual relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 07:30 PM
1

But that doesn’t mean the woman has to raise someone else’s child. That’s the main fear in the “beta-bux” theory.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 07:28 PM
1

Even if we are a minority we deserve to be considered in a conversation. Bachelors and celibates alike. You aren’t settling if you’re a bachelor or a celibate.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 07:11 PM
2

I don’t know what gives you that idea. According to Pew data it’s very common for men to be celibate. I’m not complaining just stating facts.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 07:08 PM
1

Then I don’t care what happens to the species.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 07:04 PM

Who is saying they would rather die and why does this hypothetical matter? Like I said I’m the perfect ally. A celibate man living at his parents house is neutered. I don’t know what more could be asked of me personally.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 06:46 PM

It is disturbing. And I have made lifestyle changes so I can’t be any safer toward women. I live at my parents house. I’m single and celibate. I don’t bother or approach women. I haven’t oppressed a woman with my prescience and / or sexuality in years. So I don’t know what more could be asked of me personally. Theoretically I’m the perfect ally.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 06:33 PM

Likewise to you. But you know the level of celibate men is the highest in recorded history, and that must mean rapes of women are at a historic low?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 06:29 PM

I wouldn’t prefer death. I would find a way to survive.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 06:27 PM

You literally were just talking about men. I would have hope with therapy and trauma clinicians I would be able to heal.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 06:25 PM

I once met a guy who told me he was held down by five guys in prison and raped repeatedly. He ended up homeless and lost his wife and everything. If you count prison rapes men are probably the majority of rape victims, but we ignore that. These routine accusations against men from women are romance-repulsion. An anti-aphrodisiac.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 06:18 PM
1

I don’t know what ya’ll are talking about. Many men including myself don’t have sexual or romantic partners because of the “single” times we live in. I try to keep a good sense of humor about it. Like Austin Powers when he says “I’m single, baby, yeah”. But we gotta represent the bachelors in the house.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 05:06 PM

I’m in my late 30’s, I don’t think I would date anyone under 30, and I still don’t see a ton of options.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 12:28 PM

It’s from a 1994 study that found women have a strong in-group bias against men and men also have a bias toward women. I used to think all women were wonderful and better than men until I realized women kept disappointing me and dragging me down in relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 01:20 AM

A lot of men don’t have partners for one, and two, I wouldn’t count jacking it in private because that’s not harmful.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 11:55 PM
1

Yes we do.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 10:52 PM

Who the fuck cares when men peak? Or anyone?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 08:22 PM

I suppose I could sleep with a lot of women if I wanted to. Women eye me every day I’m in public. I just don’t see the sense in it. And I don’t feel like redeveloping the outgoing personality I had in college, when I could tolerate hangovers. And you get so little out of relationships, casual or not, and they carry a lot of risks. If you think it through intelligently it’s almost not worth bothering with.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 07:47 PM

Many women do not want children today. I’ve tried for over a decade to find a woman who wants to have children with me. We don’t live forever. I’m approaching 40 quickly. Surrogacy is a viable option when you just can’t find that person.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 06:26 PM

Many women make themselves unavailable for relationships and children today. That is their choice. I can’t do anything about that. I’m saving up to be a surrogate single father.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 06:20 PM

Some people are celibate, I am too. What’s the big deal?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 06:16 PM

Women are free and encouraged to air their disappointments with men, if we’re talking about equality, men should be able to do the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 06:04 PM

I understand your frustration. But there are things you can do. Develop more personal hobbies, if you want to be a Dad you can choose surrogacy to become a single father. Develop your career. Find other ways to be useful to society, volunteer.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 06:04 PM

No because French women have affairs, and French people in general are dicks.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 06:29 PM

Did I stutter? This is social reassurance toward men who rightly guard their independence. It’s the era of the single and childless weed smokers and na’er do wells. But the ruling class needs babies for workers.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 04:18 PM

This is just a BS save-ass study. Marriage rates dropped to 6 out of 1000 and now they want to push monogamy on men again when it’s a proven failure.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 03:58 PM

Maybe because they’re having sex. I don’t care why. I don’t want to live to old age anyway. I’ve seen it and it gets real ugly really quick.

I think it’s awesome to be single as a man. It throws people for a loop. I’m supposed to be loving and providing for a wife and child and instead I’m puffing the reefer with a fat bank account. People think men are so stupid, not so.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 12:17 PM

Single guys in a coma, I know, I know, it’s serious.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 11:45 AM

Since I’ve been single I still get health care. Men are not too dumb to figure out health care without a woman, that’s ridiculous.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 11:42 AM

Assuming you want to live longer. Once I’m incontinent It’s joever.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 11:40 AM

Why do you think men are apathetic? If I’m at all apathetic it’s because I’m personally tired, from work. What do you want me to do? Go to Disneyland?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 01:20 AM

Weaponized incompetence doesn’t exist. My life hasn’t changed for the worse since I became single. I’m doing the same job taking care of myself as I was with a woman. Not any different. I suffer no ill effects without a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 10:15 PM

I’m okay with being a bachelor for the rest of my life.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 10:02 PM

I’d write it off because attaining exclusivity with a woman is not really possible today, and once I looked into why, ya know, I’m single at 37, I looked into why monogamous relationships are never really stable in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 09:47 PM

There is nothing wrong in what I’m saying. I value my independence, I want to look into adoption, and possible sperm donation. Monogamy is outdated anyway, and won’t survive.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 09:45 PM
1

You don’t agree. That’s okay, I wouldn’t have thought this ten years ago. But now I think we’re in a great age of singleness and I’m learning to accept that.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 09:41 PM

There are options without monogamy to have children, sperm bank, or adoption. I’m thinking of adopting as a single father eventually.

The news article references the study by Morgan and Stanley. Not hard to find if you are interested.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 09:22 PM

It’s according to a Morgan and Stanley study. There’s nothing wrong with this. We are becoming a polyamorous society, it’s just a matter of how to reconcile that fact. https://medium.com/hello-love/study-predicts-45-of-women-will-be-single-by-2030-1fbc99bad6a8
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 09:18 PM

They don’t though. They think they do because culturally we confuse temporary pair bonding with permanent monogamy. But most women initiate divorce and/or cheat eventually. It’s because pair bonding was never permanent. Before Westernization most societies on Earth were polygamous. When you lose monogamy you lose the very concept of jealousy or cheating. I had to learn I didn’t possess a woman after sleeping with her in my 20’s. Now in my 30’s I realize why/
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 09:16 PM

45% of women will be single by 2030.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 09:08 PM

Maybe that works for some people.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 08:56 PM

Yes but it’s bad for men who want to get married, become fathers, and trust their paternity. Nobody cares about fathers or fatherhood in this society, we’re supposed to go along with polyamory even if it means no more fathers, no more confirmed paternity. Most men can’t accept that.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 08:52 PM

I don’t think so. Without monogamy, paternity cannot be established. So that’s bad for men. And it’s women today leading the way of polyamory. So if you are a man who wants monogamy and children it really makes sense to realize the truth, that monogamy is not viable, that you should find other things to do with your time.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 08:50 PM

We’re reverting to polyamory now. The natural state for most humans.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 08:47 PM

Dude it’s straight up science. Women lose interest in monogamous relationships faster than men, and aren’t pursuing LTRs, a divorce is often a sexual awakening for a woman. Monogamy isn’t natural for either men or women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 08:42 PM

I’m glad the Victorian era put an end to that.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 08:34 PM

How did that song go, “I don’t give a damn about my bad reputation.” I haven’t been out of the country since 2000. Not my fuckin fault, not my Fuckin problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 08:31 PM

Let go of the bitterness. Life is not a fairy tale. It’s not supposed to be. Monogamy was a lie the whole time. Don’t mourn a lie.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 08:24 PM

It’s true because we’re conditioned to believe a monogamous wife will lead to happiness and children. And it’s all a lie to keep us working.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 08:22 PM

Women aren’t monogamous either, like, at all. Before modern civilization most humans were polygamous. Being a monogamous guy I feel like I have to suppress my sexuality, but it is what it is. Once you accept these facts and accept bachelor living the bitterness evaporates. We were sold this lie of wife and children and now we’ve uncovered the lie. No use dwelling on it. Live life for yourself. That’s all we have in the end.
