Simple. The army just advertises that its looking for recruiting 'Jawans' ie soldiers. There are at least 1000+ volunteers for less 10 vacancies. Ofc this is done with due process,identity verification and stuff. While the physical bar is quiet high, educational bar isn't. So many 12th pass villagers see it as a good opportunity to rise from poverty. Add to it an abundance of patriotic movies, books and other media plus the opportunities in army.

I follow this sub to have an unbiased and complete view of the entire issue. Not because I'm an 'antifeminist' myself. I have found faults with both sides.
