Why do you think you are so triggered by that comment? Because you made a baseless assumption about me and fed me a generic platitude? There's obviously a lot of pain and insecurity there, and the girls are going to see and feel that. I'm being very honest and direct. Riiight. Pain and insecurity CAUSED by women. It's a paradoxical fallacy. You don't realize that I have the opinions and behaviors that I have BECAUSE of the way that I've been treated. The way around it is not by getting angry at …

I already do all of these and they don't work for me because of my appearance. What should I do instead?

Right. I know I don't have body dysmorphia. When you've been randomly insulted by hundreds if not thousands of people in your life, you start to get used to it. When people you thought were your "friends" tell you that can't invite you to parties out to a social event because you're too ugly and would scare off all of the girls, you know that you're actually ugly. There's just so many things in my life that I've experienced and been told to make it impossible for me to come to any conclusion oth…

Maybe you did those 2200 approaches with a depression face and you don't manage to bring the right vibe? No, I'm always smiling and talking with a friendly tone and trying to be lighthearted. It's really hard to have fun or be confident in yourself when a girl calls you disgusting and runs away from you without even having a chance to finish introducing yourself. You're supposed to be fun, light and approachable. All this means is literally just be good-looking. There's virtually no way an objec…

You can be lazy This is just rude as fuck. I have over 2200 approaches... Also, all of your advice is generic platitudes that mean nothing. I already have tons of value outside of my appearance, it's just that my appearance is holding me back and invalidating all of the other qualities and traits that I have. You clearly have never really struggled or faced any adversity when it comes to dating in this regard, so please refrain from gaslighting and insulting people. Sick individual.

I don't need people to gaslight me anymore than they are already. I know where I stand. No one gets called ugly or insulted randomly a few times a week who isn't in the bottom percentiles of attractiveness. Humans exist on a normal distribution. It just confuses me how so many people have never taken a stats class and don't understand that there are people who are outliers at both ends of the spectrum. There are really attractive and good-looking people that basically just go through life like t…

Not at all. People actually largely agree on what is attractive and what is ugly and they're even able to tell with MRI's on the brain whether someone is attractive or ugly based on involuntary reaction and judgement.

Start by fixing your appearance, head to the gym, buy some new clothes, get a haircut, improve what you can. you don't have to be a model but at least look presentable. What if I've already done all of these for years? I'm in better shape than 99% of the guys I see on my campus even most of the guys that play sports. It does me no good and I still get harshly rejected and insulted by girls. They disqualify me because I'm straight up ugly facially. I take great care of myself but it just isn't en…

They aren't adding up because they don't conform to your worldview. You refuse to acknowledge or believe that someone can be ugly enough for it to be a major hindrance to their ability to date or have a relationship.

Dude... I already have 2200+ approaches. I've asked for hundreds of numbers, not just snapchats. What advice could you possibly give me after 4+ years of going to the gym, following skincare routines, having perfect diet, threading my eyebrows, going to a barber with thousands of followers on social media where I have to schedule an appointment 2 weeks in advance. Unless you're trying to give me advice on which plastic surgeries to get, I have no idea what advice you could possibly give me. I'm …

Yea, I will take any advice that you have to give. I know that it probably isn't the most effective approach, but I'm approaching with the experience of trial and error, and I've found that the generic and genuine conversation approach is the best way to actually get women to talk to me and at least stay there and treat me somewhat as a human. If I ever outright flirt or tell them they're cute/attractive, I'm always given some snide remark and then they walk away. Hell, just last weekend, I was …

You and I must have very different ideas of ugly. Fat uglys aren't genetically ugly. They are just fat and there's usually decent looks and genes under the fat. I have a really messed up face and have even been laughed at by a few friends over it. Friends don't even really ask me or talk about sex/dating with me at all because they already can tell just by looking at me that I never stood a chance. I've even had some guys who I thought were my friends tell me that they couldn't invite me to stuf…

I ask for the number and snapchat, it's really interchangable. Also, I know it's not great, but it's definitely the best given my circumstances and abilities. If you read what I said, I've tried a more direct and flirty approach but it's always met with really hostile reactions and rude remarks. This doesn't make any sense.. are you 500 pounds, haven't showered in a month, and never gotten yourself a haircut? Nope. I'm 6'1" 215lbs 4+ years in the gym with a 1465lb total. Get a haircut every 2 we…

From another reply I made: "Hey, how are you, I'm ..., just had to come over and introduce myself and say hi." Wait for response or their name... usually just get weird looks or they walk away. If they respond, typically follow with a polite compliment about a necklace they're wearing, shoes, bracelet, etc. dependent on what they are or aren't wearing. Or if they have their hair done in a very extravagant and well-done way, I will compliment them and tell them that it looks really nice. Typicall…

Following all of the advice and platitudes of a subreddit like this. I guarantee that I have more approaches than 99.999% of the guys on this sub and have put more effort into the art of pick-up/seduction than just about everyone here, and yet, I've had zero yields or returns because of someone immutable that's out of my control. I've perfected my hygiene, my physique, my social skills, my hobbies, my social circle... I look at guys around me that are in happy relationships and I compare myself …

That would be the easiest 20k I'd ever make (given you don't pay a girl to go on a date with me). 2200+ approaches yea. In my experience, dating is all looks because it's the only hurdle that I'm not able to get over. I can't get past the looks barrier and it's what's preventing me from even really showing off my personality and social skills.

6'1", 215lbs, Caucasian I've been told by girls that I have the "ugliest thing" they've ever seen, and have even been told by some girls to outright "kill myself" because I approached them and tried to have a conversation. Also note, the girls I'm approaching are usually all dead average or below average. I never even think of approaching girls that are "pretty" or "hot".

Tell that to all of the ugly guys that have been putting in years of consistent effort and have done everything right to a T and still get nothing.

Ah the old "i know a guy". If it's an ugly guy in a relationship, either he's a) not ugly or b) in a providership role and she's sleeping around with guys behind his back.

No, it's really the only factor. Take away your appearance and you would strike out every single time without fail no matter how good your game is.

Nice generic platitude, acting like guys don't shower is what's holding them back. I know guys that smell like BO or stale food and they have no problem attracting and talking to girls because they have the looks. Meanwhile, I'm over here wearing $90 cologne showering daily and going to the gym daily and getting insulted by women without even saying anything. Looks are the #1 factor in attraction.

Appearance is really all that matters in my experience. 2200+ approaches and not even a single number. This is with perfect hygiene, wearing nice cologne, 4+ years in the gym, A+ social skills, and tons of accolades and interesting things to talk about. Nothing. Zip. Nada. If you can't even get your foot in the door, personality will never make a difference.

How about someone who's actually ugly? Being short is one thing, but have you ever thought about someone who is actually disfigured and ugly? I just want to neck myself all the time nowadays with how rude women are to me.

Imagine turning down sex. Meanwhile, there are guys out there like myself that have been going for YEARS approaching and self-improving that haven't even gotten a phone number despite having great social skills.

God, I wish I had the genetics to do this shit. I'm 2200+ approaches in and NOTHING over 4 years, along with 4+ years of consistency in the gym with a perfect diet. This shit is just so depressing after experiencing all of the insults and harassment I've gotten over the years from women making fun of me for things I can't control.

I'm 4+ years in the making dude. 2200+ approaches and have read half a dozen books on game and social skills, speak 3 languages, play 2 instruments for 10+ years, in 2 clubs on my campus, perfect hygiene, and have a 1465lb total between my squat, bench, and deadlift. I have no problems talking to people and actually consider myself an extrovert given the amount of approaches I've done and how much I've actually put myself out there. I'm starting to lose the will to live because the future is not…

I'm at 2200+. Zero dates, zero numbers, zero anything. All of this with going to the gym for nearly half a decade consistently, perfect hygiene, and tons of extracurriculars and social activities. Dating is 99% looks.

I have 2200+ approaches and zero numbers or dates. I've also never hugged or had any romantic relationship with a girl. I've been religiously going to the gym for the last 4 years, great hygiene, speak 3 languages, play 2 instruments, and involved in 2 clubs on my campus. I'm pretty sure the only option left is suicide at this point. I've been called ugly more times than I can count and have been randomly insulted and made fun of countless numbers of times. It's so sad because I grew up as such …

I'm 2200+ and I'm pretty close to suicide at this point. It's pretty obvious at this point that there is something outside of my control that's holding me back. I still haven't even hugged or kissed a girl either and have never even been on a single date with a girl. Life isn't worth living when you're treated like you're less than human because of something you can't control.

Congrats on the good genes dude. I get a lot of women outright insulting me and making fun of me at random and it really kills my self-worth. I wish girls at University weren't so shallow and cared at least a little bit about personality instead of caring 100% about looks.

This shit is just so depressing seeing girls chase after guys and make all of the moves while you're getting harshly rejected and insulted by nearly every girl you talk to. It's really hard to believe that dating isn't all about looks when you see guys with terrible personalities constantly flooded with options while you suffer and are left with nothing because of things out of your control .

I feel like I have a really good voice and have even been told by some of my friends that I would make a killing in radio or voice-over. Women don't seem to reciprocate the same feelings. In-fact, most of the comments that I get from women are insults in regard to my appearance. I guess voice doesn't really factor in to the equation if you aren't at least decent looking.
