And how do I work on said self esteem issues? Working out and being social and all? I have a good social life, I go out but mainly with friends tho. I believe I'm funny, maybe not super attractive

I'm not particularly attractive, ans brown skinned and I can see and feel that when there are women around me who don't know me, they seem uncomfortable. I would try to talk to more women, and I've talked to a couple but the only thing that hinders me is them possibly misinterpreting my intentions and me making them very uncomfortable.

Not really, more like when in a group she doesn't look at me too often when talking to the group.

Happy Birthday! Thanks for getting this post to the 1k mark!! And, I agree with what you said. For the most part being spontaneous and genuine works best but if you just add a bit of sophisticatedness to it, oooh baby. Once again, happy birthday, have fun!

I know, and I don't mean think a lot but I do believe talking slightly slower and letting a bit of gravity to your thoughts just makes you a more enjoyable conversationalist, plus lets you guide the conversation wherever you want as another commenter here said. And I don't mean really slow, but like just not talking so fast that the girl has to process everything you say, you see what i mean?

Same! A while ago I was super shy and had a ton of anxiety but recently I've just been spewing everything out of my mouth without even thinking which has mostly worked, but on slight reflection I would realize how much better it could've been!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
