You can go to concerts and other events, join dance/yoga/whatever classes, just find any random groups of people based on interests, there's more opportunities than you can imagine, the real problem is just the social anxiety most of us suffer from in some capacity. And laziness, I guess. Obviously, I'm not saying everyone has the circumstances to do these things, but I think most people could find SOMETHING where they can meet new people if they really wanted to

I think the point was even though good looks, even under unkept exterior, might generally have a tremendous advantage, many underestimate how close to it you can get with bad looks and well kept exterior. I would also add inner growth and truly loving yourself as essential parts of tricking people into digging your 'bad looks'

True. And honestly I was kind of too dense here, shit's funny for sure, I just didn't feel that it was 'good' in a moral sense

(although this one has a pretty good chance of being one, but I still don't respect maruwan's joke by any means) Edit: airmcnair06's joke*

Because his joke is on him after all, English is not everybody's first language, and that does not mean a person is an idiot.

I refuse to believe this is the case. Of course it's partially true, but if you were totally comfortable in your skin, proud of who you are and somewhat interesting/unusual in certain aspects of your personality, you would have no chance to not get results. You must look for different kinds of women in different kinds of places and scenarios, if you really do check all of these boxes properly.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
