I'd decline the ride. If she buys me a drink she better drink with me.

Same for me, except my bodycount is only one of the 4 year relationship that I had until about one and a half year ago, since then I almost landed three chicks but I couldn't quite get there. Haven't found out the ways of getting somebody instantly. I was always a slowly getting the gf type.

It also helps in terms of your overall vibe. You won't show the "this or nothing" approach to the girl and it lets you be a bit more confident. As I heard at least, I rarely find two chicks to talk to at the same time.

If you aren't into texting, you could arrange an other meatup with her. Can't be that against it after hanging out of your mouth.

Dayum this has more cheese than an Italian restaurant. I like it.

I mean if you dance a bit longer with a chick, and if you see her getting a bit tired, you can surely try asking if she wants a drink. At least that's how I imagine it, as I said, I am not a dancer at all, hence I only tell you what I hear/see.

Bro you already have a 66% success rate, why would you listen to people from reddit to convince you further? Just keep dancing, that shows people that you are fun to be around. I myself never was a dancer, it just is not my thing. I only tried a few times though when I literally had to go out with my gf who I was in love with so for some stupid reason I thought that not doing it was not an option. It is good that you can free yourself up this way. Keep having fun, that's mostly what could bring …

All the chicks I have been with wear glasses. Means it suits me well if they can't see. /s

I'm not sure. I am a good looking guy too, and I never got matches. Even if I did, they either didn't even respond or they seemed like they couldn't care less. I gave up on all this bs.

It could have been that I got older and my face reshaped. I don't know.

If you have problems with your jawline, try "Mewing". It basically means you set your tongue in the proper posture. It is a very subtle change, but for me it kind of worked in the past 1-1.5 years. Not saying it 100% works, but it it's worth a shot.

Alright, I'd be grateful. Seems like you can actually put things in to words that others I have asked could not.

Problem is, that one of my two main hobbies is table tennis on a pretty high level (amateur competitive). It basically means that there is very low chance you will find anyone to play it properly with, let alone any girls. It's more of a "sport of our father's generation" here. Other than that when I think about openers I always feel cheesy. Like if I saw a cute girl in that place studying, what would I ask her? I always think that the "Knocketh and it shall be opened" way could eventually work …

As a guy who is mostly into nerdy music, has his own hobbies and hates dancing and/or the night clubs, and was planning to approach girls on the street but always felt that doing that was not alright, you kind of made me lose hope now, yo. Maybe I'll try a place on our university a few times where lots of girls are, but I am not sure anymore if that differs from the street at all. I mean they are basically random people. Jeez I'm stuck in my head again

I was kind of planning to do this but it just feels so weird when I think about it that even if I did fight the block that holds it back it would definitely feel sweaty. Also is that selfie really necessary? I never took selfies, I find them stupid.

I mean we have the saying that "You don't hunt your own bunny rabbit." That just sits in the back of my mind when I talk to colleagues. Not like I am totally attracted to this chick, but I thought it would be good practice. Since I never approach people I don't know, only if I have a solid common ground to grab onto, this was a nice way to know that if the other partner is willing, a good convo really is not a difficult thing. I agree with you though.

I mean I got ghosted on a question... Sending pictures and stuff like that on this just radiates desperation imo. That's not something I'd like her to see on me.

Yep that's my plan. See how she reacts. Problem is she doesn't really attend classes, but we'll see.

In my experience it has been pretty much a waste of time. The feedback in real life about me has been pretty much only positive, I get looks from girls all the time, smiles, eye contact, and have been told multiple times that I look good. But on dating apps I get a few matches, then they run out and nothing for a long long time. Or the matches I get have been pretty shitty, rarely do they text back, and when they eventually did, those conversations went really bad. (I checked their profile, look…

Good on you if you don't come out of this feeling like you are being screwed around with. I was in this situation 3 times the last year, not like I had too many options, this small town I live in is not too busy with the kind of girls I'm into... I think it's time to bail, doesn't seem like a sure shot.

I know that there are some types of dancing that can be done, but at a party, nothing is expected of you. You just go there and do whatever you feel like. That mentality is something I can't put my hand on. Not like I'm trying, I don't envy those who can do it. I would rather do something else.

I know, there were like 2 or 3 times in school where I had to do it, and those were okay, we practiced enough and I could do everything I had to. The problem comes when you gotta "get down on it" in a party or something. I don't think that sort if thing can be taught. It's either you enjoy yourself or you don't. Coreographies are okay, I wouldn't watch myself doing them but my sister who went to a 5-year high school told me that I was good. But it has nothing to do with the sort of dancing that …

My point is, if you are not that interested in the hobby, and you only go there for women, that's when it's fishy. Stick to the example of dancing. I for one cannot do it, and I so do not want to. If I went to dance anyway, it would be in the air around me, I would spread the vibe that I do not want to be there, and that shows. Point is, go for something you are already interested in.

What if you do all the things you want, they just don't involve women? I mean I feel like my life is great, and I am willing to share it with someone. I'm not acting like a victim, I am honestly asking this.

I get you but picking a hobby for the ladies is ALWAYS spotted, no matter how well you try to hide it. And gets talked about behind you back, I never heard it in any positive connotation.

I'm really proud of you mate. I just missed a pretty close opportunity yesterday and I kind of bash myself for it... Anyway, I will have plenty more, but I am slooowly but surely getting closer to it. Knowing how hard doing this is, I gotta raise a hat for you, Sir.

That sounds like a solid idea, I'll see about it. Maybe I'll observe my environment to find funny things now, instead of turning in the inside world. Could make me a more creative me.

All my girlfriends were girls who I already knew from somewhere or somebody introduced me to them beforehand. Those girls always found me funny. Also my friends girlfriends were always friendly to me, because I didn't build this stupid wall up inside my head. Weird, probably anxious behaviour from me.

How does one turn the humour mode on tho? When I'm out in public, my humour is made of reacting to stuff, but that is not so much of use when you try to approach them laydees. Icebreakers are tough for me, not because I tried and failed but because I don't find any that could actually work.
/r/seduction23/05/21 03:06 PM

Yep. It needs to be balanced. But for the short term, it seems like a solution for this problem.

I remember having that feeling too btw, after I pushed through it bit by bit, it got away. For me one of the hardest parts of it was telling about the girl to my parents. But since I had to leave the city to meet with her, I was forced to talk about her, because my parents would be scared to death about where I am. If you can find something external to hold on to, that's good too.

The first thing that came to mind for me is to always be doubtful if it is actually happening, then you will be so involved in looking for the loose ends that you won't notice what you are doing right but that would get you not making moves when it's due. To be fair, if you think that at some point you still can fail at something when it comes to women, does that calm you any bit? I mean there is no point when you are "completely in", because a relationship is something you are constantly active…

Simply accepting that as a fact doesn't get you anywhere. You can work on yourself, get jacked, get a new haircut, get better clothes, wash your face more and look like a different person. If it's only a complex you have, then it is time to work inside of your head because that is even more important than getting the exteriors. You can do it, the other question is willpower.

They might be confident without it. But if you are not confident, it definitely is a good first step. Works for me, because I do notice now that I get more looks and I like the kinds of looks I get sometimes. Also strengthening your back helps with your posture, which an other redditor wrote about.
