Exactly! I’m a woman and I have no issue being accountable for my actions and things that I do because I was partly raised that way but also because I watched my mom never take accountability for anything she did and seeing how annoying that was made me be sure to always take account of my actions so I wouldn’t end up like her.

I understand exactly where you're coming from with that question, I used to ask myself that same thing many times. It's good that you have a therapist! The only reason I'm alive is my self-preservation instinct Same here, that instinct would not allow me to hang myself for long enough and then it was also the fact that I realized that my younger sister would be the one to find me and probably end up being traumatized for life and I realized that it would be incredibly selfish to 'do' that to her…

Exactly! I was just reading earlier in the week about the Jim Crow laws and how back in that day the racist people used their art and literature to perpetrate these scary representations that were entirely false of black people. People always like to say, oh well it's just a book, it's just a song, it's just a piece of art, it's just a movie, but that's not true. We've seen in history how literature, art and other forms of media have been used to perpetuate evil against certain groups of people.…

Exactly! He knows that younger men who lack a strong father figure to look up to and emmulate would be drawn to him because he has wealth and is surrounded by pretty looking women (I think when boys are young they don't yet understand that they don't have to have lots of money or women to be a man or attractive) and is successful. Some of his opinions made sense but others were competely out of the water, and just wrong. I haven't spent too much time researching him but last I remember he had th…

Most of the women there were giving solid advice but there were a enough comments from women who gave petty and snarky advice, or complained about their boyfriends not texting them as usual when they were hurt/sick. I made this post to highlight both sides. It was nice to finally read some sensible relationship advice, and the petty, incosiderate comments reminded me of how some men (like my dad) are treated when they are hurt.

I tried some acro thing without stretching properly and I hurt my back a bit plus, I normally do get lower back pain and it's pretty tolerable compared to what a real injury would feel like but it still hurts a lot and I have spent a few nights where it was so bad that I couldn't sleep at all. I cannot imagine what a real injury would feel like. No thank you! Your pup is such a sweetheart!! That's tough! I find it hard to be open emotionally and when you open up and the person you're sharing those feelings with doesn't care to be even a tiny bit empathetic, it hurts a lot. Honestly, the mental healthcare for men is really lacking. I am planning to study music therapy and I hope to use that to help men who might not find regular therapy successful and might find a different form more helpful. Any why would she just prescribe anti-depressants like that? Did you say you were feeling d…

I get called (whether it's a joke or not sometimes I'm not sure) an incel and cuck by a friend of mine. I don't tell him that shit fucks with me cause well he's one of the two friends I have. 'Friends'. Yeah. I'm sure you know this already but you should probably (certainly) drop that guy and stop being his friend. You deserve better. Even if you haven't told him, if he has any perception, he'd see that namecalling like that hurts you and would stop and apologize sincerely and never do it again.…

So, being a virgin means you're going to have a misogynistic attitude, but for years feminists have been saying that picking up a lot of women is misogyny, and they've been saying that marriage is a 'patriarchal institution' and therefore misogynistic... Exactly what I was talking about to my sister some time ago, except with a slightly different idea. We were discussing how women objectify men a lot and I said, 'men are criticised if they desire a womans touch or whatever and called all sorts o…

What is a GC and why would one want to go to a strip club when they are married? A spa and seeing mostly naked and naked women dancing around or paying them for sexual favours are so vastly different.

It does depend on what kind of struggling financially we are talking about. Struggling financially because your job doesn't pay enough and everything is expensive in this economy? That's fine, I understand that. Struggling financially because you are always wasting money or spending it all on materialistic things, or not budgeting wisely and having lots of credit cards, always owing money, I'm not going to get involved with that. And if it came down to it, I'd rather marry and man who is poor an…

Not me! Well I guess it depends on what kind of rich we are talking about. Billionaire rich? Not attractive to me, I do like going to a fancy place maybe once in my lifetime but I prefer more simple things, like a man who has a big acreage with a small creek and some forest/wildflower fields, a nice house, big gardens and some livestock...that kind of wealthy is attractive to me. But honestly, money matters less to me, the most important things is a man who is kind and loyal, and has a vision/go…

I'll admit, I went through my 'men are all creeps' phase when I was 12-13 and was obsessed with boss lady quotes and feminist stuff, I didn't even know what half of those things meant it just was popular and sounded soo good so I followed it. Plus, all that was compounded by my mom trashing my dad almost every day and arguing with him in my presence. Fortunately, as I got older I started actually reading and researching things and my own experiences in the world and at work helped shape and chan…

No, I think the point he? was making was that neurodivergent(is that the right term to use?) folks sometimes don't understand the social 'rules' society has, like once I was helping this young boy that might have been autistic and he was a sweet kid but because it was hard for him to speak (i could see him struggling to find words and to communicate) so his words were very blunt and could be seen as rude from someone who doesn't understand that he was having a difficult time and not just being t…

If most of the worlds men were wiped out tomorrow, life as we know it would come to a screeching halt! The human race would probably die out. We need men and I'm glad for all that they do to provide those luxuries we take for granted.

Yeah I wasn't really understanding it but now I do! This t difference is entirely in your head. And you're right, that difference does vary a lot. I know a lot of things I don't mind at all would bother other women I know. For example I don't mind people (men or women) calling me pet names like dear, sweetheart, darling or whatever unless they are outright saying it in a way that is condescending and in fact I have yet to meet someone who'll use a pet name in a condescending way to me. But my ol…

Exactly! I have had bad experiences with men (that were in part due to my own choices) however I don't lump all men into that one category because of past things. Women that do that are just setting themselves up for a miserable liftetime. That joke is 100% true.

Yup! I can count on my one hand, the bad experiences I've had with men, while I cannot count all the good experiences I've had with men. I actually made a playlist on youtube called Men are Awesome just to highlight cool guys, normal guys, dads being dads, men doing funny things etc. Just a wholesome playlist to view when you feel down. This is why I refuse to be around women while working. You have to tip toe around them, make sure to polite and respectful. Basically play theatre and deliver "experience" for them. What I meant with that point was that I wouldn't have been uncomfortable being paired with a guy, it was awkward either way with a woman or a man to be touching them while practicing different things but a guy would probably be uncomfortable because he's working with a girl that does look like a kid (no one believed …

Well, there is a point in getting married (at least for me) but people have abused it and ruined it. Plus I can see why a couple who's been living together for 5+ years and sleeping together wouldn't see the need to be married, as they are already living a married life together, it's just not official.

Being able to disagree respectfully isn't that common these days I see. I've had conversations with online friends where we disagree on a topic but debate/discuss it in an appropriate manner. If she, an adult, cannot discuss a topic with you in a respectful manner, she shouldn't be your friend anymore. Tbh it's really hard to guage whether someone is into you or not especially if you're like me and you aren't good at detecting hints of attraction. I don't support abortion but I agree with your point that men should be able to have a say in things. It shouldn't be all up to the woman to decide and the man has to agree with whatever she chooses. I saw a reddit post where the woman's ex broke up with her after her dad died. She then later found out that she was pregnant and it was her ex's baby. She decided she wanted an abortion but I thought that her ex should at least know about the pregnancy as it is also his baby. What if he wants the c…

I forget who told me this but I was talking to this girl and she said that she disliked Trump but she liked the way he took charge and got things done and his confidence. So, we can also conlcude that while they claim to hate 'toxic masculinity' women are still attracted by those masculine traits that feminists define as toxic.

Let’s change that! I’ve started a yt playlist with positive and wholesome videos centred around men doing awesome stuff, being heroes, being great dads, just being themselves, and doing funny stuff. I think, in a relationship setting, neither the man or woman should expect their partner to fix any mental health problems they have. What should be done (imo) is that the person who is going through the mental health issue should be willing to get treatment for it/take steps to help themselves, and their partner should be loving and supportive and NOT use their vulnerable moments against them. Of course, there aren't many mental health support channels for men so, our focus should be on making …

Tbh, I think (well for me) I think of gaming in a negative way because I don't understand it. I do play mobile? games myself (like Brain Test 2 or um Subway Surfers) but I have no idea how PS5 and playstation games work so I don't understand the interest in them. However if my by/husband was a gamer and he were to explain to me why/how/when/where etc about gaming (maybe I'd try it out) then I suspect I wouldn't see it in a negative way and understand why he enjoys them.

Roma Army is kinda iffy, Think Before You Sleep did a video about her, and he is another mgtow/mens rights channel. But my all time favourite which is a more humorous kinda channel is Arako TV. Arako is the best! The second thought that did come to mind was, that I hope that the man who was so viciously assaulted can find support resources and groups to deal with the trauma that he experienced. Cut them off and block them everywhere. There is a saying that blood of covenant is thicker than the waters of the womb. I'm actually pretty isolated (I live out of town, plus the small neighbourhood has no convenience store or gas station etc) and with all my highschool stuff, I don't have a lot of time to do things I like and plus if my mom sees me sitting down not working she'll start finding things for me to do. There's a youth group thing in my community and I was going to sign up but then my dad moved away (he was going to drive me there and pick me up) so I can't go. I don't like living here as people here …

That’s so terrible! I’m glad that you’re here and that you didn‘t take your life. It’s hard when the people that are supposed to be your closest supporters and friends treat you horribly. If they don’t change, you don’t need them in your life. You are important and loved, and you are valuable. My older brother and I didn‘t get along very well when we were little (I was the annoying little sister) and we would fight at times but I never ever would tell (or told) him something so terrible and hear…

Yeah, I’ve had a few bad experiences with men, from being sexually harassed/coerced online, groomed by child predators and of course the creepy old guys at work, but I have the sense to understand that not every man is like that. I’ve had many more good interactions with men and I have served many middle aged guys who can offer a compliment that is genuine and not creepy. It would be easy to throw all the hurt and blame onto all men but then not only would I be hurting innocent guys but also mys…

I don’t understand why it’s so hard to understand though. I mean, in general most women like to care and nurture/love etc. I like to do the aforementioned things. So why can’t they do it for a man? For their friends? Brothers? Husbands or fathers? I’m always so happy to do little kind things for my acquaintances and everything. The guys are always like ‘aww thank so much, don’t worry about it (I accidentally crushed the card I was giving to him) it’s the thought that matters‘ etc. Provinding sup…

Lol I wish I could! she’d tell me to pack my bags and leave which I can’t because I’m just finishing high school and I can’t drive yet. But I like that comeback, I’ll save it for later. I’m a girl btw, doesn’t my avatar thingy look girly? Everyone sorta assumes I’m a guy.

So true, idk how guys cope with all those expectations and pressures from society. I’m glad that the men‘s rights movement (and the mgtow) has started. I’ll do my best to support the men in my life and the movement. And I thank god that I grew out of the the feminist ‘i don’t need a man’ phase i went through when I was 13. Phew!

Yeah that is a good point you made. I, cry easily/a lot in general but man it always hurts really bad to see a man cry and it is a little emotionally frightening as in I’ll end up crying too. I mean that as in, it’s not bad but it feels really painful to see a guy cry and everything because you know that normally in general, guys don’t cry openly etc, and so it’s bit unsettling but I’d just offer them a hug or some tissues, some chocolate etc.

I’ve already been thinking about that, as we often clash over simple things, like I’ll be saying something and then she interrupts me to correct my ‘wrong idea’ before she’s heard the entire idea, and she’s always upset at me for one reason or the other. It’s true that I do procrastinate sometimes but it’s mostly with her. My other teachers are always so pleased with my work and encourage me (while making the necessary corrections but I don’t feel like a dumb idiot when they do so) and they have…

I’m actually a girl, but either way it was and wasn’t surprising to hear her talk that way about men. And it’s kinda the same way she treated my dad and how he said she would treat him. As long as he provided money for bills etc and did the repairs and whatever, good! As soon as he didn’t do so, it was time for him to leave. Sure my dad had his own shortcomings but he was a little better at admitting his wrongs. Hopefully one day my mom will change her mind. And I’m glad I can at least learn fro…

This girl sounds insane! Pretty sure if the roles were reversed those tweets would be removed and the user‘s account suspended. Just absolutely disgusting.

That’s so annoying! My mom does that a lot, and it takes every grain of patience I have deal with it.

Man, I’m so used to hearing the, ‘you’re just like your father xyz’ whenever I do something that my mother disagrees with. It took awhile to build back up my relationship with my dad after hearing for 8+ years that he was a horrible, evil, etc person and even now sometimes I just feel so awkward talking to him when my mother is present because of how it was ingrained in my mind that he was a bad person (he isn’t, my parents both have their faults and shortcomings and if they ask, I will point th…

I want to read that! Did you really destroy everything?? I’d love to read more books along the lines of the one you wrote.

Thank you!!! Yeah I mean go look at a few episodes of paternity court. Not only does a man spend his life slaving away to pay child support he doesn’t owe, these kids (some of them) grow up thinking that the man is their dad only to find out years later that he’s not their dad. Why those mothers are perfectly comfortable putting their children and those men through so much heartache is beyond me. Just utterly heartless. Y'all should have seen the post about this dad that didn’t know he had a kid…
