2	Men are not monsters: Last week three of my four boys were herded into school-sponsored assemblies and asked to stand, raise their hands and pledge to never, ever hurt a woman. Their female classmates weren’t required to make a similar pledge. 1	Saw these guys at Dragon*Con Well, it wasn't long ago where boy couldn't leave the hospital without being snipped. Up until 10-20ish years ago it was seen as a mandatory health procedure in the U.S. (I'm sure they didn't force people to do it either as obviously religion was the biggest factor. 0	Don't forget, in the US a woman is entitled to sue the father of her child for child support even if conception occurred as a result of a criminal act committed by the woman. But women are, like, totally oppressed and stuff! As you said, law is not black and white. That's why you cannot wholly apply the results of one legal decision to that of another "close-enough" case. Especially when sexes and social status are taken heavily into account for such crimes. I know it's a bit ridiculous, but someone could say the same thing about someone telling you they are being recorded ("He didn't tell me!").
