Ah well I'm not from the US so that isn't what it's like for me whatsoever.

Why the fuck would I be happy hurting my partner? You are literally calling other men pathetic because they want to pursue something out with their traditional gender roles. Do you think I would force him to be one? No, he outright says he wants to be a stay at home Dad. He's not my bitch, he's my equal, he's my boyfriend and he is an amazing person. You are the one who is putting other men down and discriminating against other men, not me. His social circle is fine with it, he's fine with it, I…

Ew this Misandry in this comment really shines through. It's 2020, things aren't perfect but myself and my peers want equality, if I can go pursue a career and be the main breadwinner, then my future children can have a stay at home dad. Stay at home parents are not worthless. It would be fine for me as a woman to stay with the children simply because I gave birth but OH NO! What if the children have a prominent parental figure that isn't of the female sex?! It would be a disaster!

I said he plans on working lmao. Also being a Stay at home parent is not lazy whatsoever. It takes just as much effort to be home and looking after children. I know for a fact that I wont be able to look after my children some of the time while working so having someone reliable to be there for my future children would be amazing. In our economic state we would both need to work anyway, but primarily he wants to be there to raise the kids the most. He already has a job anyway, but he is studying…

My entire life I was only government programs and 'benefits.' My younger brother has multiple disabilities and needs the extra payments that are given to my parent to help him through school and get home the extra rescourses he needs. That shit is not a great way to live and most of the time you are barely getting by. It's fucking stressful and the system makes it nearly impossible to survive on that crap. I'm not from the US but the housing where I stayed wasn't even suitable for human habitati…

What does that have to do with it? I'm currently saving for a house and to have kids. Also the person I'm dating wants to be a stay at home dad; he was honest about it but said he also wanted to pursue a career too. I obviously want to look after my kids just as much but I know just how difficult it is to raise children as I helped raise my sibling. I have had that discussion with my partner and know exactly what I want and what my partner wants. I wholeheartedly want to provide for my future ch…

Nah this is just so wrong. I lived in poverty for the entirety of my childhood and almost my teenage-hood. It taught me that I needed to work harder than anyone above me to get anything. I worked my ass off and now have a job that pays more than my boyfriend who is older than me and therefore would automatically earn more than me on minimum wage. Quite frankly it fills me with pride to know that I worked my ass off and eventually got to a point I wouldn't have even thought was possible without b…

I'm not an expert because the only women I know over 30 are either happily married or family members. But my Mother came into that category after my brother's Dad died due to illness. She had her life set up and everything and then he went. Her friends pushed her to move on after a few years but she decided dating was no longer for her. From what I know about other family members, generally what happens is either: A) They just haven't found the person for them yet. My Aunt didn't until she hit 4…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
