Is the word really overused? Or has it just become more and more appropriate because there is in fact now a culture of men paying women for what amounts to nothing more than an online fantasy? If the women are making good money off the backs of these sad men then hey, more power to them. & yes, adding a female who you don't speak to or even know on Snapchat is what I would call "simping". Hey I never complained about women I simply used one woman, who I am friends with, as an example. Not sure but it boomed some time after the popularization of Onlyfans. Same deal with some female twitch streamers. They dress up in their slutty cosplay and play a game, badly, and cash in on all the simps sending subs.
