Yeah it's unfortunate. I had the... joy of working temporarily for a local taxi service. We're talking small small town that's not had a taxi as far back as I can remember, and he had been doing it solo. Pick up a couple of girls and they JOKINGLY say "Oh this guy looks like he's going to kidnap and ... us." Like seriously? That hurt, like really hurt me, still to this day.

I do not deny it, that's why I wrote the caveat in my comment. I know I can be confusing so I apologize on that. I do agree with you in general that men are more prevalent in higher positions of government, churches (Arguably, churches IMO are prejudiced, whether they believe so or not, in one way or another, it's why I'm technically no longer a member of a church, Atheist, or realistically I joined TST, not to be confused with Church of Satan, we're more Atheism and science, we (IMO) don't actu…

I was going to actually say almost the same exact thing, u/Maddie4699, you had me up until u/Ok_Living8507's quote. You're living in you're own bubble, and as described in a previous comment, your terminology is wrong. Men's rights, are women's rights. Everyone built the world we live in today, there we plenty of matriarchy's as well. It's just completely ignorant to say both problems are the same too, they're not. Women have different issues than men do, and vice versa. In fact, u/Maddie4699 I …

Honestly I believe you have to sign as if you're the father, so go to family court, (obligatory IANAL) at least as long as you accept no responsibility until proven the child is yours, they may force a paternity test, and you'll get your answer. Edit: If you avoid any court summons, they will rule in her favor automatically, do not miss them. Possibly lawyer up, if you can't afford it, I'm not familiar with how it works, but I just know you have to show to court at least.

Oh I agree, and I think you're right, in everything here, I can't even pick anything out to nitpick at technicalities, except one *Maybe two, I don't really understand the bakery thing, didn't that already get shot down? Any business has the right to refuse business, so sorry, even to members of my own, you have to understand their right to freedom of their body, and thus their labor/choice, if they don't want to make it, you can't force them. Even if you take offense to it, that's in our tenets…

As a member of TST, realistically I don't know what it is, so the analogy I use is. We're all Atheists, we don't believe in any higher power or deity whatsoever, so like pastafarianism is a play and joke on gods, we're akin to them, in the sense we "Sarcastically," use the term Satan. I really think you're definition is going to vary member to member. When really, we're just a bunch of atheists who believe in science, and morality in general. Tenet 7 VII Every tenet is a guiding principle design…

Oh don't worry, we're here to protect you (I assume your from ID?) you don't necessarily have to Join TST, but I'm positive our religion will fight ANY legal battle, in any state to a fair abortion. As a religious right, Tenet 3 III One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone. https://thesatanictemple.com/pages/campaigns Current active campaigns include and I quote: "RELIGIOUS REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS Consistent with our tenets that call for bodily autonomy and acting in accordance with…

I have to disagree here, at least on the aspect of not giving just cause it rots. There's a reason they draw more blood than they need, it's part of the risk assessment for a given area or hospital. They look at the amount of possible patients should X hard scenario hit, and they're all hands on deck full capacity. Then they calculate how much blood they might need, and use that, so if that scenario ever occurs, we're ready, instead of begging people on the spot to donate blood, which then has t…

This one really grinds my gears, and it's very well hidden that certain states, have started enacting debtor's prisons, through loopholes in the law. IANAL and of course this is just what I heard (I don't have a link) and how I understood it. Judges in small claims are ruling in favor of the debt collector cause the person owing probably didn't show, knowing he wouldn't win, cause he does owe the money. Then he's set for whatever the judge decides, garnishment, or he has to pay whatever every mo…

I only saw the top part of the picture, then I realized I had seen it before, and why I avoided it. I got to the bottom, and it's never not made me cry. This post speaks a lot of truth, in a few words, the 1000s of truths come from that picture. Thank you, take my upvote, while I go wash the tears out of my beard. Edit: There, feel clean face again. This is all I ever wanted, I told my girlfriend (as I was breaking up with her, she stonewalled me pretty bad during tough times). You know why I go…

I'm honestly curious, if anyone has a source on this. How much exactly let's say per man in the US, is transferred to a woman through alimony, child support, and such things. Strippers, not so much. That's frugal spending. I'm curious because I wonder if after you consider the above, the pay gap changes, and technically men make less. I've heard quite a few stories where guys get quite a lot garnished from their paychecks, live in their vehicles, while the ex has the home, and get's alimony.

Definitely take my upvote, there's a lot to unpack, in such a succinct wordage you used, and you're right. Edit: This got long, TL:DR, if you don't want to read it don't, it's just my personal experiences with my opinion on it takes "Two parents," to raise a child. Also to add, I agree, judges or at least our government or people in charge, seem to perpetuate the dogma of parenting. It takes a village, because the village fills in where the vacant parent would be, when they can't be there. That …

Another reason I don't have children, and am generally asexual. We can't have kids in America without being completely rich, or broke. If we do have kids, and the relationship doesn't work out, the men usually get the shitty end of the stick.

This may or may not be received well by your manager, or HR, but you have rights here. First off, I'm Not A Lawyer, but I am disabled, so I feel like I know a few things. I may be wrong on some points here, so I hope other commenters will be nice enough to chime in on anything I may have missed, or said in a misunderstood way (I'm a confusing person). Go to your doctor, and tell them about this issue. Ask them to write a note, detailing the need to have a restroom available if necessary, and if …
