Most of what you're looking for is over on the side bar, as far as the interactions go as I said, you've a mix. There is a deal of good people here, though numbers fluctuate depending on what group figures MRAs are equivalent to Nazis this week. Lots of the people here find humor in the posts, as they find echos of things that they had believed not too long ago as feminists. There is a deal of red pill rage going on, and I'm happy that there is a place for any of that to be hashed out. Is it ver…

Within a family, it is usually alright. Babysitting a younger sibling, or a cousin, or nephew. Within tight friends groups it's alright, watching a friends kid usually isn't a problem. However there is plenty here in internet anecdote land of men being forcibly removed from their daughters by onlookers that assumed the worst. There are societal rules/ticks involving older males being around things like scout troops, and classrooms, especially if they are not related to any of the children. it is…

It's pretty clearly a version of the "it's okay to be white" papers that were posted about a while back. The idea of which initially being "for the lols" from watching the media make an issue out of it. Which it did, in many places.

Some of it is hyperbole to be sure. Though I have certainly faced and witnessed the first point in which males are often not trusted around children; and have the unfortunate awareness to see the countless stories of assumed guilt and life destruction over sexual assault accusations before one's innocence or guilt is proven in a court of law. I've been, and witnessed others uncomfortable around me, simply for existing. Assumption on my part being a fear of violence, despite my arguable non-viole…

This video does play loose with the numbers, but it almost answers your question. (It compares homicides per capita of the nation as a whole to some of our cities.)

A reminder that AVFM had a response article to this one, and it was one of the ones that spurned the red pill movie.

I'm not going to say that you weren't under a rock, It took a long time for my girlfriend to see it (and she does not identify as feminist). I would ask you, to take a look at the shows and advertisements you watch, and Identify the men in them (Especially the fathers). Then try to find one that does not fit two (or more) of the list below. Socially inept Overweight Stupid/Dumb/Clueless Emotionally cold/isolated (To his family/friends/etc..) Super Muscular "Useless" (Incapable of cleaning, or pe…

To weigh in a little on the "Finding better examples of feminists" aspect. Having followed the path of the documentary, from what I've been able to gather. As soon as it came to light that the movie would not be an MRA "hit piece", and instead would provide them a voice; a lot of the funding and support was withdrawn. This also spilled into interviews that were set up with "better" examples of feminists, as they quickly pulled out. If you want to see longer versions of the interviews, and some o…

I think I might argue that a lot of the feminist posts are a combination of "For the laughs/Karma" or as a way to work out some of the red pill rage.

Kind of exploded this morning on the News here in the US.. A google engineer shared a manifesto internally that ended up going external. He touches on the internal issues as far as how google has handled diversity, (Race, Sex, Creed, etc..) mainly speaking on the differences between men and women. The media quickly called it sexist and bigoted. Wondered what you guys thought about this.

Not sure if you're trying to quote David Angier or Catherine Comins as a joke, or if you believe it.

The only thing I've found while searching comes from this thoughtcatalog. It's apparently anonymous, which makes sense given that any public figure stating that would most likely be removed before they finished the statement.

They've already started shaming men for it, giving it cutesy titles like 'Failure to launch" and blaming it on video games. Some outlets have started calling it a man drought.

The kind of loser that he could afford on what ever credit he commanded with a salary of only 50k/year. (Assuming good credit history, and a decent debt to income ratio) Figure between 15-20k on the top end, but at rates above 17% so I'd expect he wouldn't want to pay more than 40-50% of that.

When I hear that, I respond that men need to take in ~20-30% more calories to maintain body weight and health over a similarly sized woman.
/r/MensRights14/07/17 02:07 PM

I'm familiar with that channel, don't recall that discussion though. Would you happen to have a link?
/r/MensRights12/06/17 04:01 PM

I thought I had.. I guess to put it another way: Would it be a bad/stupid idea to counter a claim of toxic masculinity with something like "Toxic masculinity is the masculinity taught by feminists/women."?

Thank you. I hadn't recognized that last night, though it's quite apparent today.
/r/MensRights11/06/17 12:42 PM

You're right, I was probably quite overhanded in that aspect of the argument, and I must admit that to that end I was starting to become emotional about it. A confession I must make is that, I've only begun this journey into Men's issues a few weeks ago, so a lot of things are quite raw about it. That empathy gap is real, quite real, and I've only started to notice it.
/r/MensRights11/06/17 02:55 AM

Speaking on circumcision as a possible reason as to why men aren't typically vocal in sex. Taking into account the shaming of male sexuality. Other side begins to belittle, tone police, and change the argument. Is there a better way I could have handled this?
/r/MensRights11/06/17 12:14 AM

Certainly not your fault, seems silly that a "news" broadcast would be locked behind regional content restrictions.. I guess my Followup question is how out of context/broken are those stats they threw at her. The 1/5 of women are victims of Sexual violence and what not are very close to those bogus studies in the US. (Now I'm being the ignorant one).
/r/MensRights08/06/17 05:01 PM

As a heads up, You need to be in AU to watch, or have a VPN that will say you are.
/r/MensRights08/06/17 04:33 PM

Lets not start splitting hairs about one issue. They could very well be here for curiosity, or because of another men's issue. For some, circumcision is a non-issue, and for other's it is what attracted them to the movement.

Fine, not a bot. Still gives off the vibe: 15 days, 46 posts, ~9k karma using a handful of submissions in a few specific subs. You've a very targeted audience with your account. Not saying that's a bad thing, just usually not something that a human heads. You Do You man.

Pretty sure OP is a bot, Re-posting the same few items to a bunch of "Men's" subs...

I know you've long since forgotten this comment here, But could you provide a source? This is Terribly interesting and I'd like to read up on it. I'm aware that Google exists, but I'm afraid I'd lose the message when searching.
