Healthy kids after 35 is an oxymoron. Younger parents = fitter, stronger, smarter, healthier child.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 03:51 PM

But why does it matter what they say? I don't get this obsession with trying to find intricate and long-winded ways of forcing women to admit a truth that everyone knows. Who cares what they say about it? Getting them to admit it is like drawing blood from a stone. It's only a "problem" if you make it one. Otherwise, continue living your life knowing that you are aware of the truth. You're only "driving yourself nuts", as you say, if you choose to make this a "problem".

It's obvious but very few people say it: Autism. Nothing can be more of a kryptonite to dating prospects than being unable to read emotions and having awkward communication. The crossover between autism and incelism is huge. Almost none of the traditional RP rules apply if you have autism, because autistic people find it almost impossible to connect with other people on a human level.

The thing is, this "victim" is also a simp. No guy would let a woman attack him like that unless he was mentally weak and terrified of her. Whenever you see cases of female on male domestic violence, the guy is always a simp who is scared to put his foot down or leave. That's why the women become violent, because there's nothing to restrain them. You have to ask yourself how you even get in a situation where a woman feels comfortable punching and hitting you. Most women aren't dumb - they know t…

I don't think it's moral superiority. But I think you're touching on something with the fear aspect. I think it's an evolutionary defence mechanism that was inculcated in women as a means of survival. Men have physical strength and pain tolerance to survive, while women need emotional guile. This is what TRP goes on about with the "hamstering". It's common for women to hold 2 contradictory ideals at the same time but manage to live by that without experiencing guilt or shame. I truly think that …

Of course it's manmade. What's your point? We are so far removed from nature that it's not even worth discussing. The problems mentioned in this sub don't exist in a natural environment. But I don't see how you can claim that the unnatural state of affairs won't prevail long term when all the evidence and history points in the other direction. Everything is becoming more and more unnatural. Birth rates are falling around the world, as one example. As for the transgender thing, all the studies I'…

I don't believe it's a niche as other commenters have said. Social trends happen for a reason and humans are deeply sensitive to pressures and changes coming from the world they interact with. Advertising and mass media also tend to be ahead of the game when it comes to predicting these changes, and I don't think it's a coincidence that the "girlboss" and Homer Simpson-esque "dumb husband" trope have dominated TV for the past few decades. Basically, as masculinity becomes less and less essential…

This is mostly true, in that the TRP community attracts working class men and is run by those same people. It's also an American phenomenon, where everything gets reduced to money. It's hard not to cringe at some of the stuff that TRP creators come out with, especially when it comes to stuff like car/money talk. This is part of a major blind spot that TRP theory has. If you weigh in hard on the fact that you're a big moneymaker, which these circles (intersected with crypto/hustle bros) love to d…

This is absolute BS. The push for anorexic women comes from women themselves, and is perpetuated through mass media. It's also location dependent. The US has this weird dichotomy where the beauty standard is either anorexic or obese masquerading as "thick" and "curvy". Visual studies repeatedly show that both sexes prioritise immediate signs of fertility/virility. For women, men look at breasts, hips and ass. For men, women look at shoulders and arms. I guarantee you this is a phantom anxiety th…

This is part of a larger issue that infests both sides of the debate. You can see the autistic mindset on both sides of the fence. In fact, I think there were some polls that found that incels were overwhelmingly autistic. It's only since the internet that people like that have found a haven of like-minded people to share ideas with. The other factor is race, which is rarely discussed for obvious reasons. A lot of incels come from second/third-generation immigrant families in the West and theref…

There's a lot to say on this and other commenters have already touched on the main points, but I think one "trend" that's clearly growing is that the "boyfriend" or "hubby" role is actually emasculating and anti-erotic in the new dating scene. I see this more and more nowadays, especially in the context of women settling. It's almost the equivalent of the "starter girlfriend" meme that pissed a lot of people off a few months ago. A lot of women, especially younger ones, are simply in relationshi…

If I were single, though, I probably wouldn't turn it down Ok, so why do you think women are any different? They are just better at hiding it. Did you know that, along with billionaires, the most popular romance/erotica subjects are pirates, werewolves, and vampires? Yes, which is why I said that the characters "are so exaggerated that it's improbable they will meet them irl". The fundamental point is that our fantasies reveal our desires. I used women's romance novels as an easy example of that…

No, it's because it's the easy way. You buy a book or ebook and lie in bed. No effort involved. Just like men and pornography. At least you admitted that it's a fantasy. Do you really think that women would refuse to take part in their fantasy if it became reality? Absolutely not. It's just that the male characters in the novels are so exaggerated that it's improbable that they will meet them irl. Hence the "fantasy" aspect. Now let's switch the genders. If most men were placed in the typical pi…

This is so wrong. Safety and comfort have nothing to do with desire and in fact, a lot of times, actually inhibit risk-taking. Sexual desire is at its most pronounced when there is risk, tension, fear and anxiety involved. Look at women's romance novels if you want to know the type of characters they get off to. Do you think Christian Grey gives off a "safe" vibe?

How are all of the comments missing the key point? We were long distance Long-distance relationships aren't real unless there's a close expiration date on your being apart. They are just friendships. You could have avoided all the rest of the text if you just accepted that. By winning I mean the large majority of men having access to women to start a family with. But that can only happen at the expense of women's strategy, which is to pair upwards. She wouldn't pair laterally if society didn't make it almost mandatory (as it did until about 1960). I guess your first point is true in a sense and I see what you mean now. Relationships that exist in the current age tend to be more "true" because most of the time they're based on pure desire as opposed to economic or s…

I also agree that the loss of distinctions isn't the only thing causing it, and your summary of men compared to women in the past. But I also think that if you promote companionship as the "offering", then it's inevitable that you'll get extreme winners and extreme losers (incels). I see this "endgame" referred to more and more on this sub now and I think people are just coming to the conclusion that it's correct. Men's loss of power = male sexual inequality. What we do to remedy that is up for …

The dissolving distinctions between men and women is what is creating incels. They are at the extreme end but there are plenty of other boys and men who suffer from the same phenomenon.

I never understand when guys say this: If you're not "working on yourself" then what are you doing with your life? Regardless of all the stuff about dating, women etc., shouldn't you be trying to "improve" or "ascend" as a default state? That's what humans do. It's built into our psyche. We are never satisfied for long and always become restless and look for "more." I don't get what the alternative is. Remain stagnant and do what? You should be "improving" all the time despite your dating woes. …

Uhhhh, no it doesn't. You claimed that the state does not spend money chasing child support, but the link shows that in most cases some or all child support is paid. There are also legal exemptions to paying full child support, including unemployment. Again, the point is that if you don't pay legally mandated child support, you're breaking the law and will be punished. What is there to argue?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 03:48 PM

That's not responsibility, it's authority. They have the choice either way, which again, is my point. Your second point is just wrong on all counts. Child support is a legal requirement. If you don't pay it you'll be pursued by police and have arrest warrants issued. Men face jail time if they refuse to pay child support. Stop lying.

Yeah, that's cool, bro, but we have this thing called abortion and birth control. You can pick up condoms at the store in 10 minutes. As I said, women have all the authority and none of the responsibility. Absolutely nothing can force a woman to carry a child to term. Absolutely nothing can prevent a woman from having a child and being supported by the state if that's what she desires. The main point is that casual sex carries no risks if women follow standard protocol (obviously many don't). In…

Women get upset at RP because it disrupts their innate game and turns it back on them. Neither sex can fulfill their sexual strategy without the other losing. When you break it down RP is basically what women naturally understand and practice. It has nothing to do with morals. RPers would just as easily call the 32-year-old former hoe trying to get the nice guy to settle down a "dirty salesman" too.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 11:50 PM
9

There are 3 main components to this if you believe the RP. Women no longer need the BB side of the equation: They have successful careers and can provide for themselves. Women can fulfill the AF side of the equation at the press of a button using dating apps. Birth control/abortion/child support/scientific advancements in fertility mean that women have all of the authority and none of the responsibility in sex/pregnancy. There's no longer anything in society that prohibits or discourages casual …

The issue is that once you swallow the Red Pill, there's no going back. Part of the problem is that so many guys end up learning RP because they were in the depths of hell through oneitis/divorce. Extremely blue-pilled. They didn't go through the entire process as suggested by the RP. They use it to try and fulfill their Blue Pill fantasies using RP strategy (finding their "one"). Once they find a target all the stuff they learned slowly fades away, they make the woman the center of their life, …

The social media bubble is part of it, yes, but there's no denying that "sexual inequality" has grown enormously in the last 50 years. All the stats posted here all the time prove that. So I don't think it's fair to say that incels only believe in a false representation of the world based on social media. You can never enforce sexual equality, but the system that we had before (monogamous lifelong marriage) offered the MAJORITY of men better access to satiate that need. Did women suffer as a res…

Agree on both points. It's just an unfortunate situation where the imaginations of these guys will play tricks on them and convince them that their situations are far worse than they are. Also I too find the whining and victim mentality insufferable. You can't reason with them. I dislike this ominous 'if most men don't get a woman/women, bad things will happen threat'. To be honest, I don't like it either and I hesitated to write it that way. It sounds like some cheesy Joker-type threat. But the fact is that if a significant section of society aren't having basic needs met (this is the point that a lot of people hate but I think sex/love is a need) then social issues will follow. There's no getting around this issue. It's just a fact that if you "free" the sexual marke…

Because we are discussing theory. All people should take care of their appearance - not as they age, but as a matter of protocol beginning in their teens. The fact that most people don't do that doesn't mean that suddenly 30+ year old women are on par with prime women in their 20s because they discovered the gym, skincare and dieting.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/23 09:29 PM

It's the complete opposite. I live in a major city with all types of people. I don't know what to say if you can't tell the difference between a 23-year-old and a woman who is 30. The difference is immediately obvious to me. Especially given that most women aged 23 don't know the first thing about style/makeup/appearance boosting and often try and make themselves look more mature while 30+ women have an encylopaedic knowledge of looking younger due to ageing fears. Do you live in East Asia or so…

I'm talking about physical peak. Sexual experience doesn't factor into that. And as for women in their 30s spending more time on gym, diet etc. - those women would have looked better had they done that from the beginning. That's a lifestyle facet that doesn't factor into our raw physical peak.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/23 08:54 PM

I can absolutely tell the difference even from about 23 to 26, let alone 23-30. I feel like a lot of people here are ignorant of appearance or they're just not perceptive enough to tell. You don't have to be some looksmax person measuring bone length and skin hue. But there's a definite loss of "lustre" in women past about 27, if not earlier. Another factor is that women past that age will begin investing more in skin and makeup to offset ageing which can also manipulate your perception of their…

I never understood this claim, even as someone who would be considered red-pilled. If you have greater access to more desperate, bitter and lower quality women, how is this a win or a "peak"? We all acknowledge that women's prime is from about 20-26, so just because men in their late 30s/40s now have more women in their post-epiphany phase (AKA I've had my fun and now I'm looking to settle down with a nice guy) seeking them out it doesn't mean it's a positive. Quality over quantity. Of course th…

Common example that (immature) women often do: Bringing up other men to gauge your jealousy/protective instinct. Super obvious to spot usually but they'll positively comment on the appearance, personality, careers etc. of other men to try and get a rise out of you. Be warned though that in some cases this isn't a shit test but a genuine sign that she doesn't see you romantically/doesn't respect you.

True but don't discount the geographical factor. Liberal women flock to cities, especially megapolises. These are hyper-competitive environments where looks and money are paramount for your success. Women in those places can afford to be far more selective because standards are better. They;ll never openly admit having those values but their behaviour shows, clear as day, that they do. I see more and more in a major city that men clearly outrank their partners in terms of attractiveness sometime…

I am a man. I've been in relationships and I've had long dry spells. Even in those periods I was never under the delusion that a girl would solve my problems. If you feel otherwise then good for you. I just don't think your definition of "rebelling" is the same as mine. The people we're talking about are placing women at the apex of their worldview. There are more important things to solve than getting a GF.

Fair enough, but you're an exception. I would say the majority of people here who follow your line of thinking are the mentally ill BPD/OCD type of personalities you mentioned. I suspect that even if they were to find a girl, they'd still end up deeply unhappy because the issues go much deeper than that. I mean you just need to have a look at some of the language they use. I can tell how you think because of the fact that you mentioned mansions, plastic surgery and sports cars. All you guys are the same. Your entire view of people comes from the internet. Maybe it's different in the US or something but the type of people you should be hanging around aren't interested in cars or mansions. Also you put forward a strawman. Whining and complaining instead of working to improve yourself to maximise your chances is cucked. Whining online does nothing and it's weak. I'm not sure that "women started it" is a good justification for the bitterness. Isn't the idea to avoid the things that got us in this mess?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/23 11:23 AM
1

Sure, but I don't think it matters either way. Chicken or egg argument. The point is that a lot of those undesirable traits are associated with high N count. Men know that deep down, regardless of whether they admit it or not. And you are somewhat correct in that it's becoming less and less important, but that's because men have fewer and fewer options so cannot afford to be as selective.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/23 07:20 PM
1

Not sure why this needs to be said because it's so basic, but you can't use celebrities as examples, like I said. Most women would also marry Bill Gates if given the opportunity. Does that mean women don't care about looks? There are other factors at play, like their status and wealth. Using their high body count as proof that men don't care is stupid. It's not black and white and 95% of us weigh a combination of factors when judging suitability, not just one thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/23 05:28 PM
3

Celebrities don't play by the same rules. A lot of them enter into relationships to play to the media, not for love. You said it yourself: They get new boyfriends every year. That implies there's some instability in their love lives. And I would suggest that the high body count is a factor in that. A lot of people are willing to overlook it as other commenters said, but once you get past the honeymoon phase it commonly becomes a problem when you tie it into other lifestyle factors that are unsui…

How can they know it will make them happy if they've never experienced it? It's just their bodies tricking them into thinking it's the most important thing in the world. Don't get me wrong, it's important, but not something to define your life over.

This is pretty interesting because if it holds true, it would refute a lot of the incel claims. It also ties in with this phenomenon of people saying that they're depressed even though they appear to have a healthy relationship, good job, friends etc. Incels snarl and whine about those people, and claim that they could never be depressed if they're getting regular sex. I think the most likely explanation for the entire problem is evolutionary psychology. In dry spells, our bodies are driving us …

There are very few people here who would be described as Red Pill as it was recognised until about 2016 when it began to go mainstream. In short, the difference is in the amount of whining and resentment. The OG RP used to tell you to STFU and accept how things are (grow past the anger phase). Nowadays the lines between RP, black pill, incel, MGTOW stuff have become blurred. I think the main issue is that the benchmark for women's expectations is set by a small minority of guys who approach EVERYWHERE at all times. You'll run into people like that occasionally and it's quite eye-opening. They shoot their shot with every second woman they see. The problem is they're rarely attractive and have just learned to try their luck until they strike gold. In basic terms it means you cannot love that which you desire, and you cannot desire that which you love. When I say desire I mean sexual desire - lust. Beyond the societal reasons (availability/cost of fast food, sedentary jobs etc.) the main reason is a widespread belief in the bluepill notion that personality, not looks, is what matters for men. This idea is constantly promoted in mass media and it plays a huge role in the nice guy/beta phenomenon which 80% of men are part of. I don't think you can blame men for putting those women in that box. For the majority of women, there's an easy middle ground to take. They're promoting the manipulation unintentionally. It's self-serving. Because if they admitted their double standards it would make them look bad. It's the opposite. Rules and self-restraint is what gives us freedom and lasting satisfaction. Engaging in an exploration phase is self-defeating. It fundamentally changes you (this applies to both men and women). The common trope of the happy rural hick who doesn't have a care in the world because his life is so simple exists for a reason. The more relationships you have, short and long-term, the more trauma, heartbreak, anxiety and unhappiness you endure. It all adds up, though you may not not…

This is probably the biggest issue relating to this sub because neither side will ever see eye to eye on it. The narrative coming from the blue pill side is such a gargantuan lie that it beggars belief that anyone would have the audacity to utter those words. We're constantly told that women will have different standards regarding hookups and boyfriend material, and that being made to wait for sex is actually a good thing because it means you offer more and the woman has picked you out of a pool…

You got problems dude. If your first instinct when a weight discussion comes up is to brag about how you can knock skinny people out, you need to work on your insecurities. It's no better than the fat women who brag about being "big-boned". Just cope at the end of the day.

Not sure how I can prove this through a scientific study. It's anecdotal, but I guess if you look at a popular women's dating complaint, that they feel used by men for sex, that suggests that it's a common problem. One of the main ways men try and get casual sex is by promoting an exxagerated image of themselves. And the frequency of the complains seems to suggest it works.

Mainly lifestyle. Excessive drinking/drug use/partying is the biggest.

I don't trust feminine men and nice guys. They'll throw you under the bus at the drop of a hat over a crumb of pussy. Seen it happen so many times. And god forbid if they enter a relationship and any conflict arises. They'll always take the side of their partner, and unfortunately that type of person tends to attract the opposite type - a domineering, aggressive and uptight woman who walks all over him. It destroys groups of friends like nothing else.

If you need to request it or lay out a strategy to share phones it's unhealthy. Comes from insecurity and fear. You shouldn't be with someone who you don't trust or who you think wouldn't let you on their phone.

She's not obligated to do anything. But she's made her bed and must lie in it. Her potential partners are also equally unobligated to accept that she treated them differently to previous men. People grow and mature, I get it. But blue pillers overestimate how much people change. The "settling" meme is very, very real. Taking part in risky casual sex in your 20s and then settling in your 30s once you "mature" happens very frequently, and not only among women. But the underlying psychology that ca…

This contradiction is only really a "gotcha" if you don't consider the woman's previous behavior. It's simple: If you know/estimate that she previously had ONS and sex right after meeting other men, then her making you wait is insulting and will instantly set your relationship off on the wrong foot. Even men who claim to be casual about this stuff will have lingering insecurity around it. This is why reading and screening people is so important. You don't want to be the sucker. There are plenty …

I agree with your first point. It's crucial. But that's what I mean my action rather than words. Men need to provide comfort but without apologizing. And in the reverse case, men should avoid venting. Your behavior provides enough evidence if you're unhappy with something. And you only need to set out red lines once. Repeatedly discussing an issue is neurotic and overbearing from the woman's POV. If you aren't being respected, then dip. We shouldn't have double standards. And men because of thei…

You express feelings through actions. And I think you misread me - I specifically said you should NOT debate anything. Men especially fall into the trap of trying to debate their way out of friction and doubt in the relationship. It never works.

If they aren't logical then what's the purpose of communicating them? As I said, actions speak louder than words. You communicate through your actions and behavior. Talking about this stuff does nothing except complicate things and introduces doubt.

The fact is that most relationship issues are not logical. They're a result of insecurity and fear. You'll never be able to debate or logic your way out of that with a partner. The MOST important thing you can do is be with people who are mentally healthy and self-assured. This avoids 99% of problems in the first place. Easier said than done though. Naturally, most people will hide their flaws in the dating phase. Get better at screening and reading people. OPs third point is the central problem…

I don't think a school environment is truly representative of this phenomenon. Everyone gets made fun of at some point. It can be a brutal time.

Overall? Never. We would have seen some evidence of that throughout human history, but every single piece of the past points the other way, that men are superior. But having said that, there are some aspects of womanhood that cannot be replicated by men and that I'm envious of. Particularly things like social intelligence and ability to influence how people interact. You've probably been taught that the only way to prove your value is to be better than men at being men. It won't happen unless yo…

If the third party is connected to the one getting cheated on, then it's pretty reprehensible, but it's still questionable if they hold blame. I agree that it takes two to tango. But if a friend was railing my partner behind my back, I'd view them as a piece of shit and boot them from my life, while still holding my partner accountable. If the third party doesn't know the person getting cheated on, then I don't blame them at all. In fact, I consider it a favor. It's up to them whether they let t…

In line with some of the recent themes on this sub regarding the variation among women - it depends on what you're going for. RPers promote plate-spinning - having a rotation of women for casual sex. For that purpose, appearance, bravado and confidence are king. There's absolutely no question in my mind. The women they're targeting aren't interested in wit or emotional intelligence. This also confirms that RP will only attract trashy women. They just want a dumb hunk. But if you're seeking somet…

Absolutely. The advent of dating app domination is a "crossing of the Rubicon" for relationships in the same way that mobile phone usage was for communication. I remember back around the mid-2000s that most people disliked the idea of mobiles because it was seen as odd that you could be contacted at any moment. People wanted peace of mind. Nowadays, almost every job requires you to have a mobile. It's normal to be communicating with dozens of people at all hours. The exact same cultural shift ha…

I don't have a horse in this race, but this is delusional. How can the numbers be "easy to obtain" if you're talking about a genetic lottery in which only about 15% of men come out above 6ft? I respect your own preferences but it's nowhere near the norm. Most women don't view anything taller than 6" as "giraffe territory". You'd have to get into 6"5+ for that to happen.

It's sad, but that's just how it is. Both sexes achieve "security" through different means. For now, at least, we've moved beyond the caveman days of might makes right. However, I think you're in a minority here. Plenty of people (young especially) take part in lifestyles that expose them to greater risks and safety issues. Also, at least all women have a shot at playing the game of increasing their security through emotional intelligence, which is their main trump card. Spare a thought for the …
