supposedly being a “racist” (the fuck is he a racist when he married a black woman?) and “misogynistic” (how when he gave his daughter a life of comfort? This is not a good argument.

Its impressive how the incel brain twists itself in knots to come to the exact opposite conclusion that would be logical. But im sure the crippling loneliness will go away if you just hate women and minorities more. Good luck!

Read what im actually writing instead of incel straw manning. Im saying the focus should be on men. That means talking about things like the number of homeless men, or the portion of men that are homeless, or the effect of homelessness on homeless men. The stat in the above post does none of this. The only purpose of it is to compare men to women. You are so deep into the incel mindset that you cant even imagine discussing mens issues outside of a comparison to women. Homelessness is a problem f…

Sorry, your false dichotomy incel bait is not working on me.

Right, and this does not illustrate the problem. The problem is homelessness. How large of a problem is homelessness for men? This post doesnt tell you. Its incel anger bait, not an attempt to actual illustrate a problem.

No, im not missing the point. I specifically said above i do not believe thats a useful thing to do. Its great if you want to stroke the egos of incels. Its not great if you want to actually solve problems. Whoever made this knew exactly which one of those things this would do.

So like i said, the only thing it does is draw a gender comparison. It doesnt actually tell you anything about the scope or seriousness of the homelessness problem for men. How many men are homeless? What % of men are homeless? What are the effects on men of homelessness? This post doesnt tell you. It is purposely designed to encourage a destructive "men vs women" type thinking and provides no information that would actually be useful.

Ok. So now read up the chain to where i said that the only thing this stat does is form a gender comparison, and doesnt yell you anything thats actually useful like the total number of homeless men or the % of men that are homeless. It does nothing to tell you how big of a problem this is for men, the only thing it does is encourage a "men vs women" type situation.

Why is is useful for people to know that 86% of homeless are men? What does that actually tell you about the problem of homelessness?

Why is that a useful thing to know?

Yet again, what is the particular insight you now have about male homelessness?

But this doesnt tell you anything helpful about men. You really dont get what im saying. Tell me what you know about homelessness's affect on men from this post.

How big is the homelessness problem for men? You have no idea because this post doesnt tell you anything about that. All it does is encourage you to draw a gender comparison, which is clearly the intent.

What do you think the purpose is of saying that 86% of homeless people are men? Its clearly to draw the contrast that "only" 14% of homeless are women. If they wanted to make the point that homelessness is a problem for men, a useful statistic would be the % of all men that are homeless, or the total number of homeless men. But instead they went with the implicit gender comparison, which is only useful to draw a gender contrast. It doesnt tell you anything about the size of the homelessness prob…

But that wasn't the point at all, the issue was that he didn't even discuss it with her. I do pretty well and make significantly more than my wife. I would expect either of us to discuss an elective expenditure of even a few hundred dollars with the other. This dude dropped ~2% of their annual, before tax salary and didn't even give her a heads up.

Given that she was part of a group of people all crossing and they had already established themselves on the road? Yes. The article posted before has some more detailed info. It's clear from that article that both people were at fault. You can't just run people down because they're jaywalking.

This was already posted. Read the article - they were equally at fault. The actual payment to the woman (half her bills, since the guy was half at fault) is only a few thousand dollars. The rest of the money is being claimed by her lawyer, and the judge has already said it's an unusual amount and will be scrutinized. Nothing to see here.

It's very clear from the article that the cyclist was partially at fault. "Brushett was one of a “throng” of people trying to cross the road at the start of rush-hour... ...she panicked and tried to step back, but the cyclist ... swerved in the same direction and hit her. Even where a motorist or cyclist had the right of way, pedestrians who are established on the road have right of . Mr Hazeldean did fall below the level to be expected of a reasonably competent cyclist in that he did proceed wh…

It's factually correct but heavily implies that the women was completely to blame, which is not true.

Yes, she was in the road when the cyclist had a green light, but so were many other people (a common occurrence in cities). And she was far enough onto the road that she actually took a step back to avoid the cyclist and still got hit. Furthermore, the judge ruled that both parties were equally liable - she should have been more careful but the cyclist should have seen she was already crossing and yielded. Your title is misleading to put it mildly.
