It definitely isn't professional or fair of her to be hostile in your other interactions, but her responses here seem fair and rational. It's partially cropped out, but you seem to say that female on male violence is extremely dangerous due to lack of resources for men- if that's the case (which I believe it is) then male on male violence should be just as dangerous and the specificity of 'female on male' is unnecessary and is an example of an 'us and them' tone and position right at the outset.…

Well, if I were a Ukrainian, I would have chosen and elected the latter while the former is invading my home and killing my countrymen... so, morally speaking, there would be a fairly stark divide between the two, even if they were identical in all other ways.

My understanding is that 'fragile masculinity' refers to the insecurity that men/society feel(s) regarding masculinity, that it is always under threat of being challenged or taken away, and this causes defensive, negative, or toxic behaviors/reactions- being afraid that crying or showing vulnerability will make you 'less of a man' or shaming another man for wearing pink would be examples.
