I just went through your post history, much respect to you for going against the grain and building your own life on your own terms.

This is a good summary of the lessons of friendship from "The Little Prince". https://canonized.wordpress.com/2016/08/08/the-lost-rites-of-friendship/

For the uninitiated, that paragraph on men and friendship is from a french novel called "The Little Prince". It is a good read for kids to show them the value of relationships/loyalty and friendship. This lady is still a kid at heart and needs to learn the lessons of friendship, so makes sense that she has it in her bio. Although, it is almost a decade too late to look for friendship. Too late, so sad.

It has been interesting and deeply satisfying to see DeeplyDisturbed1's writings evolve and improve over the months. Bravo DD! Another great story!

God, sorry to say, the absence of space after the full stop makes my brain hurt.

Curious to hear more. Do you have family/relatives who never seek your advice? Or younger people in your social circle who never seek your advice? I think it also depends on your geographical location. In the east, there is still the concept of seeking advise from elders. However, in the west, old people are looked down upon and youth and fertility are the gods to worship

Thank you for the words of hope. Do you have any pointers on how to raise kids rights, how to find the right women and how to build a community? I am not Christian, but happy to delve into it as it is widespread in the western world.

One can hope. Dark times ahead indeed. Side note: not sure why all your comments on this post are collapsed by default? Same for "Wide-Illustrator2906"'s comments?

This is sad overall. For everyone involved. In the past, an elder would have given her correct advise when consulted about the breakup. An elder/a community would also have prevented them from being in a relationship for 12 years without being married. There are no elders anymore. There is no community anymore. We turn to internet for advice, and internet further propogandizes us. We are atomized creatures. Connected but our phones acting as isolation chambers. All I see in the future is misery.…

Sao Paulo sounds like an awesome place not just to meet girls but also to make friends and form communities. As an immigrant, USA/East Coast has been extremely hard to form reliable bonds/community for me so far.

You two are awesome. This is a wholesome exchange with pearls of wisdom. This is what I imagine men spaces were like. A big brother helping a lost brother out. This is what we have lost with the modern world. This is what we need to fight for and bring back. No whining. No bullying. No mocking. Just a dry and plain exchange of information. I wouldn't claim no homo here, as that's one aspect of our culture which has weakened male friendships today in the western world.

My IQ dropped two points. All CAPS, no punctuation and wakanda slang. While she talks all this big talk, pretty sure she looks like a cylinder at best, a pear at worst.
