Why do apartment complexes leave out some of the most important shit in list but include nonsense. I don’t give a fuck about the 1 time $100 administrative fee or the fact that it had an electronic thermostat. Where is the parking and how much does it cost.

If I heard my gf talk to her boss the way one of my female coworkers talks to our male manager, I’d be questioning my relationship

After being away from this sub for a few months I realize it’s just filled with autists and people who have nothing going on. Once I graduate I hope to never come back in this sub again.

/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 12:31 AM

I’m richer than all of you, statistically speaking. How does that make you feel?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 11:47 PM

I hate this like doomerism of “work 40 hours a week and die” what do you expect from life?

Wtf is up with getting a doctors appointment? Need to see my dentist cause I think my wisdom teeth need to come out and they’re saying the earliest they got is 4 months? You’d think I’m trying to get tickets to a concert. The dermatologist appointment is a fever dream.

I hope people realize that there are high schoolers in these threads. I’ve seen more than one. Feels weird. I’m in college but like idk hs seems wack.

Back in high school, there was a center for advanced mathematics that kids would apply to get into. Most of us were nerds so we kinda all clicked and stuck together. When homecoming would come around, we all would decide who the most autistic guy in our group was and vote for him. Bc you could vote for anyone, the votes were always really scattered and it was easy to sway it if you had a coordinated group. So every year, we’d all die laughing watching our probably 5’2 autistic Asian friend walk …

I worked for this F500 company a few years back as a summer intern, and one of our objectives for the internship was to come up with a pitch for a new product line the company could offer. We pitched a very very niche product, that we thought was in line with the company but would definitely be outside their comfort zone. We proposed that they buyout smaller companies that was already in that business. The idea was kinda shit on in a very corporate way. Hemming and hawing about how consumers pro…

Recently started a new job. On Friday my boss told me how he wanted something done for an hour, I even clarified it by showing him an example of how I would do it. He said great. Showed him the “finished” stuff today, and it’s as if he’s looking at it for the first time. Told me I was making great progress but to just change one thing. That one thing was the thing he showed me how to do Friday and now wants it a completely different way. I hate the corporate world, I want to go back to college.

The number of interviews companies require these days is insane. Last year when I was applying for internships, I had multiple 3, 4 and even 5 round interviews. For an internship that was going to pay like $20 an hour at best. Not that I’m some huge asset, but I turned down at least 5 interviews because one company was great and just had one round and offered me the internship.

“Do no harm” is such a weak oath. Literally just means do no harm above what’s needed m. I follow that shit everyday, if I didn’t I’d go to jail.

Ya but it’s not like a random 3-4 hours. It dinner time when I’d be eating so then I gotta plan around him having a date over. I guess another thing is he like avoids introducing her so I feel like I’m supposed to act like I don’t exist while they are here.

My roommate for some reason likes to have date night at our apartment where he cooks in the kitchen with the girl. He’s nice about, like gives us a heads up and cleans after, but it has turned into a weekly thing for the last two months. It’s kinda beginning to annoy me, like once a week for 3-4 hours I feel like I can’t use my kitchen or eat at the dining table. I don’t even really like going down stairs cause I feel like I’m intruding. Am I being weird? Maybe I’m just being super anti social b…

I don’t care about abortion either way, but I just like to piss people off. My stance changes depending on who I’m talking too. I hate religious zealots and pro-choice people equally and I want them both to win.

People also drunk drive because it’s more convenient and cheaper than calling an Uber. Doesn’t mean we don’t consider the undesirable outcomes.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 04:03 AM

Me personally, no. Cause I can handle the possibility of a kid. If I couldn’t and didn’t even want a 1% chance, than yea I guess I would be sexless.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 03:55 AM
1

Yes IVF is bad. I wanna control anyone who wants to kill a kid. Men should be held way more accountable about where they put their dicks.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 03:52 AM
1

Yes. Men should be financial drained if they leave their kid and arrested if they try to flea.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 03:51 AM
1

You are consenting to the possibility of giving up complete control of your body when you have sex. Don’t have sex if you can’t handle the possibility of having a kid.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 03:50 AM
1

Yes it does. You consent to the possibility of a child every time you have sex. If you think it’s a person you can’t kill them because it’s inconvenient. Similar as to not being allowed to just kill a kid once you give birth c abuse it’s inconvenient.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 03:48 AM

Can’t be forced if you don’t have sex. Problem solved.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 03:37 AM

I can’t believe there are people who half ass religion, like the Muslim who will smoke and drink but won’t each bacon or the catholic who won’t eat fish on Fridays but will have premarital sex. If I actually believed there was a big guy up there and that I had the right book, I’d be following that shit to a T.

Most Catholics don’t even know their own rules. Read a study where they polled “Catholics” who attended mass weekly, and only like 25% of them thought contraceptives where morally wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/24 12:06 AM

People view Islam as really controlling, but you ever read some of the catholic teachings? No abortions, contraceptives of any kind, sex other than vaginal, divorce, etc. from reading most Islamic stuff they are strict on stuff that’s kinda easy, catholic stuff hits at like the core of your life.

Religion is such a weird thing, cause people can go to church/temple/mosque everyday, truly believe they are talking to god, praise him for the good things that happen in their life, then be wrong. It’s sad we will never know which one.

Not a fully formed thought. However, you know those like posts or comments by women about how “men never take care of themselves”. Sometimes I wonder if women are taking too much care of themselves. I know a ton of women who spend hours a day and thousands of dollars on there looks. The bar is too high.

I was at a house party last night and my gay friend brought his friend who’s a girl. Some guy at the party realized he brought her and said to him “nice, a little chubby tho” in reference to the girl . My gay friend doesn’t say anything to the girl, but thirty minutes later the dude who called her fat and the girl are making out. Night ends, I was dd’ing so I offer to drive to be the girl back home, but she just told me to drop her off at some other house. I did. Later I found out she found out …

Don’t connect your face to any beliefs you have expressed. If you’re so tempted do it on a throw away, but even then it’s risky. Girl who I went to hs with did it on r/ amiugly and my friend and I found it. We didn’t tell anyone or her, but I will forever think she is very insecure.

I’m surprised the internet isn’t filled with more garbage. Like for example, most people who post here have decent grammar and can string a though together. But like 85% of the world could in theory access this thread and it’s not filled with just garbage.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:02 AM

I’ll always be amazed at how many people are willing to sell straight up scams. I’m not talking like overpriced drop shipping garbage or even “coaching”, I mean people who sell life insurance, trading advice, or sports picks. These people know in no uncertain terms they are scamming you for their gain.

Being sociable, smart, and athletic almost always gave you more power then someone who could fight. Most of the wrestlers in my hs were known as weirdos while the rich guys who competed in swimming were considered the top.

Every time I go to my local chipotle, I tell myself it’ll be my last cause it’s quite possible the worst chipotle in America. But every few months, I drop my guard and go back. Went tn unfortunately, waited in line to be told they don’t make quesadillas and don’t have rice, sour cream, corn, chips, or chicken. Just shut down the store for the night.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 02:49 AM

Not literally spending the money. I mean if you spend $10k in a week in your hometown I’m sure you’d have a dope time too.

I wish I could have a sit down convo with an intelligent catholic or Christian. I grew up catholic and there are so many questions that I never got to ask cause I didn’t want to debate and didn’t want to be called out. Like these were basic in your face questions I thought of as an 11 year old.

I’m graduating soon and I think I landed the best job possible. I have a pretty bad GPA, but the ppl who hired me are alumni from my college. Fortune 100 company completely remote if I want, paid 85k a years. Guaranteed 10% bonus every year, 3% 401k match and they give you 10% of your salary on top of the match, on-site gym, free phone, paying for my masters degree. The people also love me and are super nice.

Idk it’s genetic, by my entire family will send the most cryptic messages then not answer their phone or text me back. My mom sent me a text and said “call me asap”. Call ten minutes later and she doesn’t pick up. Half and hour later she finally calls me back to ask me what my plans were for over the summer.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/24 03:29 PM

Literally the last sentence starts with “Although we understand this may feel unsettling…” then some bullshit about the company’s commitment to its employees welfare.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 06:43 PM

Nothing like waking up to find an email from your job stating that they are doing a hiring freeze and will be trying their hardest to not cut headcount this year.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 05:59 PM

I don’t think I’ve cried while sober in at least 5 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 06:03 AM

I don’t mind people complaining about the world, but those rose colored glasses that everyone has on and saying we had it better decades ago is wack. No the average person was not better off in the 1980s.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 06:03 AM

Nah like I get she wouldn’t perk up and say “oh we are on a date”. Had to be there for the tone I like to think I’m not autistic and I read it as “no we are strictly here as friends”.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 05:45 AM

No I was not that specific. I thought an expensive one on one brunch at a winery where I told her to wear something nice and drove her there was obvious enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 01:44 AM

I knew she was pretty broke, and we were in the same friend group.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 01:40 AM

It was at a cool winery. I knew it was going to be expensive kinda just wanted to try the spot out.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 01:39 AM

One time I got the balls to ask a girl i thought was cute out to brunch. She said ya, we went and I happen to know one of the waitresses and they asked “oh are you guys dating?”. Girl I had brought out cut me off and said “no we’re just friends”. I paid $120 to not only be rejected, but to be embarrassed in front of another person.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 01:36 AM

I used to just say no to sales people, now I just say I only have $50 in my bank account. For example, dude at the car inspection person said I should get new tires. I wish dude but I only got 50.
