Yeah it's kinda fucked coz even a lot of my friends from school (decent guys who have it together) really struggle even to this day to get romantically involved at all and have just pretty much resigned to the fact that they can just bide their time till they're 28 and then parents will arrange something. East Asians are much more comfortable with themselves and usually come here as couples or just pair up immediately after getting here. They're very nice people but it's hard to be part of their…

Yeah tbh I feel like I don't get to talk to women at all so I wanted to know if there was some low-stakes environment where I could. I'm okay with just getting to know people now, and think that would be help me a lot more than putting my head down and going ham at the gym. Gym is obviously important but I don't see it making a huge difference to who I'm talking to.

Also, don't be a self-deprecating indian. be proud of who you are and your culture. I'm not, that's not my issue at all Forget about being social for 3 months and just dedicate yourself to fitness. Okay but even if I get dates I'd be working with no experience at ALL. Which is fucked considering stuff on Tinder moves fast here. Isn't being social the #1 priority?

Also, I go out every Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays to bars/clubs just to meet girls. Dude wtf kinda program is this? I can barely get some breathing space on the weekends with my current schedule but things should be looking better in about 2 sems from now. I talk to girls walking around on campus. I go to the art school building just to game girls. Okay and does this actually work? Maybe my SMV ain't high enough yet but i just get flat responses after I tell them I'm in grad school…

okay, but how exactly are you doing that? Where are you meeting people? Also, what is CECS?

Bruh most don't even drink. They judge me for occasionally having a drink. Not that I give a shit but they're not exactly fun people. I'm looking to break out of this circle but it's proving harder than I imagined.

Lol bruh if you're having such a hard time here in the U.S. as an ABCD with all that you've got going on, just try and imagine how hard it is for actual Indians here. It gets way harder when you're an Indian who came here for grad school and are in an environment where you don't even have "cliques" to try and get into. But my view of American college is this: Literally anything is possible if you're an undergrad. I'd suggest waiting it out and and capitalizing on the new environment in college. …

What would be the fastest/cheapest way? Have you taken a test before?

Hmm yeah I think in this case ignoring it would have been the best. Don't really know her. I've been thinking about checking t levels for a while, well before just this one incident.

Nah I'm Indian. Friends all got lush beards, my dad's got a pretty impressive beard as well. Thought it'd eventually work out but all I have are scruffy patches of thin hair. Better to shave so I keep it that way.

Be smart, leverage this to get an FFM threesome going. If she declines, she doesn't value you enough to give you that experience. If she does, good experience for you and brings the two of you closer. From there I'd say draw some ground rules about this kind of shit in the future i.e. whether you plan to have other threesomes or not. She already had a threesome with 2 other guys. Best is to take what you can and turn it into a positive thing.

takes her home and is ploughing her while I'm lying here typing this Lol don't feel too bad, she was probably just more drunk when he approached. Also it's possible she saw you taking Ls with the other girls. If she felt like she wasn't your first option or if other girls rejected you, she is more likely to reject you too. How do you approach girls in groups or girls dancing in pairs? I'm like no expert but y'all need to wingman for each other. Approach in no more than twos tho. I've noticed you…

Honestly it spunds like this thot is mad that you out-thotted her. She thought she was the prize but now she knows she isn't anything special. Knowing that you have other options is fucking up her internal mojo.

Not an excuse. I would honestly love to but they just don't do it. But again, frats are too much commitment anyways.

Yeah I think I need to just give it more time. I think #4 was on my mind more than anything so i just back off if I don't feel the response is great. Maybe I could push just a little more. Thanks for the advice tho!

Nah I don't think Americans are afraid of foreigners. It's just that despite being in America I weirdly have any interactions with Americans due to the closed nature of my work. I play soccer and used to play an instrument. Now I'm getting into lifting and maybe a few other sports. Not particularly athletic but I'm working on it.

I think you're unfamiliar with the demographic break up of grad school in STEM. Undergrad is a healthy mix but grad school is just the way I describe it, at most places in the U.S. I'm taking 3 classes this sem (EE) with around 30-40 people each and there's not one girl in any of them (not that I should be trying to only socialize with girls in class). Yup, lifting has been helping me discipline myself and organize my days. I have no problem cutting myself off from the crowd but that in itself d…

Yeah I was looking into stuff like that but the ones on campus are like 40 dollars a class (to expensive for me) and the the ones around town are inaccessible if you don't have a car. Will keep an eye out for something similar tho, thanks.

Yeah getting a job is hard coz of visa restrictions. Lol I'd love to pledge a frat but i don't think I'd have that much time and they don't accept grad students anyway. Orgs are fine but trying to pledge as a grad student will make me come off as tryhard. I think i need to just give it more time.

Yeah could be that I'm overthinking this. It's just that I'd hate to come off as needy as that pretty much kills the vibe so i just back off if they aren't as responsive as I'd like them to be.

Can see that this is an Indian post from a mile away. Most Indian guys fall for this trap, there's hardly anything you can do about it. But let me tell you, it is not the worst. He will either become a doc or drop out by second year. Regularly check in on him and see if he's doing okay. He has you watching his back, let him know that. When push comes to shove he'll know what he needs to do.

Thanks for the advice! Will definitely be looking into the program you suggested. There's a good BJJ place in my town so I think i can maybe meet a few solid bros there too if I sign up.

This is true. My uni was a place with like 15:1 guy:girl ratio and I used to regularly see guys falling over girls to carry their books, pay for food, pay for their damn cellphone bill, do her homework, and even tie their shoelaces. All for attention from her. I know perfectly well what I DON'T want to be. Thanks for the advice! Will start lifting ASAP. Monk mode seems really appealing to me and I think I need it to clear my head.

Okay I really wasn't going for the self-depreciation because I know that shit gets you nowhere. Thanks for the advice!

Yes exactly. I can understand the stuff about having a personal mission and not taking shit from anyone. But I am not about to substitute real experiences with women, with something some guy said on TheRedPill.

Okay i shouldn't have said 'useless'. Good stuff but I feel like I'm not ready for the advanced stuff yet. Lifting I can do. Kino maybe not right now.

Work does get hectic but I see your point. Yeah I'm not heavy on the social media. Lol yeah i can see that. But like with no past experiences with girls to build on/learn from, I thought being social would be more productive than trying to smash with no game. At least for a while.

This is the downside of TRP. Would you date yourself and settle down if given the option? If it's actually bothering you, try to take the meaningless sex down a notch and go beast mode in your career/other pursuits. Meanwhile, try making an active effort to find a girl you like. This is probably gonna get downvoted since it's anti-TRP but in my opinion TRP should be taken with a grain of salt. Your ex is talking out of her ass but if the question she posed actaully bothers you, take some time to…

If you've cemented yourself as the alpha and it's pretty clear that you can go hard if you want to, you have nothing left to prove. Smoking a lot and not enjoying the trip/ talking to people when you're high is just getting high for the sake of it. Kick back and just chill with one blunt at a time or consider edibles. Start talking to people when you're just one blunt in, when you're not as anxious. Also, is your social life actually improving or are you just meeting a lot more stoners who don't…
